My favorite tacos in Austin so far! They are flavorful, juicy, fresh, and generously portioned. I've tried their suadero, lengua, cabeza, campechano, and carnitas. All were super yum. They also offer lots of different salsas. Their "Austin" jalapeño salsa is my favorite; my husband likes the habanero. I've tried other Amazonas trucks and never understood the hype (but to be fair, I usually showed up with a massive crowd of people around 2-3am after the dance parties closed, so maybe they get overwhelmed or just don't care as much at that time). But this new location changed my mind!

Delicious authentic Mexican Tacos - YumI ordered Tripe Extra Crispy and Carne Asada, Mom had Al Pastor and Carne Asada. They're paired with cilantro and caramelized/Grilled Onions with sides of radish and cucumber. Tomatillo Salsa was the right amount of spice - they have 4 others to choose from. Highly recommend. Horchata was good . Because of the convenience store - they're not allowed to sell sodas. Note: Dine-in. you are served on a proper plate-not paper or styrofoam.

Cool spot to grab tacos after hours, cooks/ staff were nice but young lady ringing us up did not seem to knowledgeable about the food sold at this truck. Liked that tortillas were handmade, meet was okay, I say go for chorizo or Al pastor, salsas hit the spot. It was pricey.

this truck moved in down the street recently and the food is so good! i've been smelling it for a while in the evening and finally stopped by last night. i had the torta universal and it was hefty and delicious, tasted really fresh and it was definitely made to order. the guys working the truck were nice and the seating outside i thought was really cute and well-lit. i'll definitely be back. they have FIVE different sauces and we tried them all! orange (forgot name): incredible flavor but hot (i still liked it)tomatillo: good af and oddly exciting for a tomatillo creamy jalapeño: what a creamy jalapeño should be (hot, still liked it)smoky mild (forgot name): real smoky, mild (i'm not a smoke person but if you are, get this one)smoky hot (forgot name): smoky! HOT! this one was not as hot as the orange right out the gate, but it lingered on both of us and was the first one to get my scalp sweating from just one chip. this one i began to fear and stopped at one chip.
