Taco Margarita

This place is a hidden gem! It offers plenty of seating, excellent service, and a great ambiance. At first, the prices seemed a bit on the higher side, but after my first bite, I understood why. The food tastes fresh and the flavors are well thought out.I tried the bang bang shrimp taco and the fajita taco. The bang bang shrimp taco was probably the BEST shrimp taco I've had in Austin--perfectly fried without being overly greasy and packed with amazing flavors. Usually, after a shrimp taco, I feel a little queasy from all the grease--but not here! The bang bang shrimp tacos are simply perfection. The chicken fajita tacos were just as delicious! This spot is definitely worth checking out! This is our new favorite place for tacos!

Wow wow WOW!! Ay Dios mio!! Ordered several tacos from Door dash and these are the BEST tacos in the area! Super fresh ingredients and every taco we tried was outstanding. I usually get Taco deli, but I think I'll be coming here from now on. The crispy picadillo tacos were packed with flavor. We also loved the savory Barbacoa, the juicy shredded chicken, Tinga, and. Conchinita tacos were equally succulent. Tortillas were fresh as was the salsa. Can't wait to have more! Loved the freshly made chips as well. Only thing that would make it even better??? Birria tacos. Would love them to add Birria to this delicious menu.

Just checking out a new restaurant and I decided to come to Taco Margarita. As I entered people are very welcoming and the server sat me down. The food that will served to me was really, really good. I want everyone to know that all the succulent dishes here that I had especially the enchiladas all of them were fantastic I can't say enough good things about the food that was served to me. The carnitas was Actually one of my favorites besides the enchiladas was, incredible that I had to really savor it was a large plate for me and I couldn't finish it all even though I was starving I almost finished all of it though. I truly enjoyed my visit it's a very friendly ... The decor was nice very casual someone who is wanting the best margaritas this is the place to go!! Yes, I am definitely going to make several visits here and give everyone updates as I travel throughout Lakeway Austin and many other places to review wonderful dishes especially in Mexican restaurants. You can definitely tell that they put a lot of time and energy and make it the food almost too perfect dishes. The taste is different but very delicious. It's as though after eating there within a few hours you're hungry for their food again it's like you're almost wanting to go back sooner than later. So that is my experience here it was very positive there's plenty of parking so I shouldn't worry about parking places in this location. Very easy to find. Happy yelping and enjoy!

Food was garbage. 7 dollar for one gross taco is wild. The tortilla didn't even taste like a flour tortilla. Cheap ingredients. Just don't

The staff here is very welcoming and friendly! They had a good knowledge of the menu, provided suggestions, and even offered to make us other items if we didn't see what we wanted on the menu. Drinks were strong! I ordered a margarita but feel like I got a cup of tequila (not a complaint)!Chips and queso were average, but tacos were really good!! I got the barbacoa and carnitas tacos - the meat inside both had so much flavor and the shells were nice and crispy. I'd definitely go back and I hope this place stays around!

Wonderful food! I recommend the carnita tacos, the pastor tacos, the Alambre quesadillas and the chile rellenos. But, it's all good!! Margaritas are great also!! Friendly staff.

Boozy drinks were delicious. Staff were super nice to the kiddos. Everyone enjoyed their food! Also had multiple TVs for game watching

As you can see from the photos I just posted, the food that is advertised is a far cry from what you get. These were supposed to be mole chicken tacos and they were kitchen sink nothing tacos. We ordered three different kinds of tacos and all three containers look exactly like the picture on the right. Terrible food. We will never return. It's just too darn bad because this area needs decent restaurants. Save your money and go someplace else. I know this sounds harsh but how dare they think that they can charge top dollar and serve something like this? I hate to bash a small business, but how do you screw up tacos like this?
