Swim Club

The Swim club is located on the ground floor at Downright Austin, with an outdoor pool and beach chairs that you can use with a day pass or simply dine indoors at the restaurant without one. There's paid parking available right outside the swim club entrance and you can also walk in through the main hotel restaurant.The vibe and pinkish decor here is completely on point. It's very fun and Instagramable. And drinks are great! It's a great spot to hangout with your girls for brunch or happy hour. We enjoyed the Neon Valentine pop up bar experience with lit neon signs that made for cute pic backgrounds and themed cocktails served in heart shaped glasses. The music set the fun, party mood nicely too and wasn't too loud so we could easily hear each other without having to shout.

The Swim Club was super cool where must be one of the most unique bars in Austin. It also serves the outdoor pool for the Downright Austin. It had an indoor pool extension but was closed off and now used as a seating area. The indoor spa is a playpen for the little ones with tiny pink floats.The drink menu is also unique where ordered the Tan Lines which was a very tall glass of strawberry-infused tanqueray ten, dimmi, honey, orange bitters, elderflower rinse, and lemon. It was very refreshing. The bar staff were very busy but very nice.I also ordered the Chips N' Dips. The chips needed to be a bit more fresher but the three dips (housemade guac, queso, salsa) was very good with great unique flavors

Swim Club is the perfect girl's night spot! I had been following them since they opened and finally got to go in August. The interior is super cute and unique. The dining room is made from an old pool, so it's sunken below the main level. It still features decorations from the old pool such as the ladder, the tiles, and the depth signs. I love that they made all the furniture blue in the pool area to mimic the water that used to be there. The rest of the restaurant is decorated with pink details, which is super cute! It's definitely a good spot for photos.We came on a Thursday, which is their 1/2 off pizza and drink specials night (not 100% sure if they're still doing this, I couldn't find anything about it on their Instagram). Our server was super friendly and patient with us. We ordered their chips and dip to share, which was perfect since it came with queso, salsa, and guacamole, so everyone had something they liked. I ordered the pepperoni pizza with a side of ranch and it was pretty good! I definitely expected the food here to be lower quality since the restaurant seems to be more about visuals, so I was pleasantly surprised. After our meal, we got to swim in the actual pool outside for a bit, which was the perfect way to cool off from the heat. Overall, I would recommend this spot for a girl's night! I will say the prices seem a little steep on the regular menu, so I would definitely check to see if they're still doing the 1/2 off special if you're planning to go.

Obviously this place is cute. So much attention to detail. Was super excited to sit in the pool. The staff were so sweet and efficient. Really kind. The food was okay. I also wasn't very hungry so didn't try a whole lot. Did like the fries. The drinks were great! Dessert was soooo good! Got the skillet cookie and we ate it all and left no crumbs. With that being said I do want to come back! Preferably in the summer with friends to swim and have drinks.

Came here from the Waterloo event and we were glad we did! Amazing venue! Pool turned to a dining space great way to repurpose a space! Cool 80's decoration. Just came here for snacks too hungry forgot to take pics! Quick bar service. Will come back! My son was so happy! #yelpelite2025

I had the best experience at the Swim Club last week! I was able to sit outside for dinner once and had drinks inside twice while staying at the hotel attached. The margherita pizza was really tasty. The fries and sauces stole the show though. The za'atar aioli was to-die-for and the spicy sauce was also so delicious. The lemonade rosé was my favorite drink I tried. The service was kind each time I was there and so never wait too long. I was also obsessed with the design inside and out. It is so cute and bright and retro. There are 10+ different cute photos ops!

If you're looking for a fun, Instagrammable spot, then Swim Club is definitely worth a visit. Located in the Downright Hotel and just a short walk from my office, I decided to check it out during my lunch break.As you might guess, the restaurant features an outdoor pool for hotel guests and patrons who order food and drinks. The interior is super retro and nautical, with bright colors that really pop.The menu is small but easy to navigate, featuring mainly tacos, sandwiches, pizzas, and salads. I tried the Baja fish tacos and paired them with one of their fun cocktails, the Sharks on the Water. Both were good, but the highlight for me was the cold pop, made by a local shop and definitely my favorite thing I tried.If you're in the area and looking for a fun spot to take friends, Swim Club is a great destination.

OK, I apologize in advance because I have no pictures of my food or my drinks my bad. But in my defense, I was there for a happy hour and so I was happy! Food: So I actually ordered the tacos honestly, it was not disappointed if you have a pineapple allergy then you can always ask them to take it off, but that was really good and if I remember accurately was like $15 for three tacos that were good and filling not a bad deal .The frozen drinks were good and I know I had a tequila drink, and that was pretty tasty.My waiter was Esme and he was fantabulous! Like honestly continue to check on our large table. He gave his honest opinions about certain drinks and food choices. Could not have asked for a better waiter.I took a tour of the whole venue. It's actually pretty cute. There's like a little upstairs area, which is like a lounge and further back is a little closed off area. Where if you wanted it like some quiet while you ate, you can go there. I would definitely come back here and see a lot of ads for like events they go on so I'm gonna have to come back when it's like lively with some more music!

I gave this place 3 stars for the vibe alone. The pool concept is pretty cool and they have such cute decorations inside. Wasn't too happy with the service...the waitress that was helping us seemed annoyed when we asked questions or even for more utensils. She may have been busy that day but it still made our experience quite unpleasant. Pizza was good but nothing special. Everything was on the pricier end. Fish tacos were very bland and boring. Not a big fan of that.

I found Swim Club because it was connected to our hotel, and I have to say, the swimming pool theme is super cute! If you're feeling like a swim, you can totally do that. The place is laid-back and perfect for hanging out with friends over drinks.Service:We had a bit of a wait, probably because it just opened and had a lot of reservations. But since we got there right when they opened, they managed to squeeze us in. I'd suggest booking a table ahead of time, just to be safe.Food: **Price Range:** $15-30 The lunch menu doesn't have a ton of options, but what they do have is solid. I got the burger, and it was good, plus the Caesar salad on the side was tasty too.
