This place has been on my list for a while, but under my North Austin bookmarks...I didn't realize they had a location in SoCo! Since the SoCo location is much closer to me, I was happy that a friend wanted to meet here for a Friday afternoon get-together.There are plenty of tables and the vibe is all pink and floral---definitely perfect for Valentine's day all year round! There are a TON of drinks and desserts to choose from. The reason I even had this place bookmarked was because of their souflee pancake dessert. So that is what I got---the strawberry soufflé pancakes without ice cream (it does come with an ice cream scoop of you have that voracious sweet tooth!). My pancakes were pretty good - I was expecting the sauce to have a thicker consistency, it was more like melted whipped topping. The pancakes were also more on the chewy side and not that fluffy. Since we were chatting away, I didn't bite into plate until about 10 minutes after they were ready, so it's possible they might taste differently if eaten immediately after they're cooked. My friend got an avocado smoothie and mango sticky rice. She enjoyed her plate but the smoothie was definitely on the larger side! It would be nice if they can offer smaller sizes and not just one big 20+oz cup!The staff was super chill and I'm glad they weren't in a rush to kick us out. We were there for about 3 hours!

Sweet Memes is a trendy dessert spot along S Congress Avenue! Very cute inside with the decor, good amount of seating, and definitely lots of photo opportunities there if you're into that. Decent amount of parking (street, garage) nearby. The ordering process was easy with self-serve kiosks and we got our food quickly. Drizzle Croffle ($8.50, 4/5) - Served with ice cream, whipping cream, and drizzle syrup. You can choose the number of scoops (1 is default) and what syrup flavor you'd like.- I ended up getting a scoop of matcha ice cream and the matcha syrup flavor (if it wasn't clear already, I'm a fan of matcha)Overall I'm glad I tried this place out! The croffle was pretty good and the matcha additions complemented it well. I do feel like the prices of desserts at this place is a bit expensive, so probably wouldn't go back unless somebody else I knew wanted to try it for the first time.

Sweet Memes is a very cute dessert spot that has asian inspired desserts and drinks like boba!Food: They sell waffles, japanese souffle pancakes, french toast, crepe cakes, and more. Matcha souffle pancake($11.99): 8/10Super fluffy and light pancakes. They are jiggly and cloud like. Very fun to eat and so easy to get down. Not dense, so I feel like I could eat the whole thing easily. It is drenched in a matcha sauce that is thin and creamy. The whole thing is surprisingly not too sweet. It is a good balance of sweetness and the slight bitterness from matcha. The icecream is a nice touch too!Taro Waffle($11.99): 8/10The waffle is taro flavored, but very subdued so it doesn't actually taste like taro. It is a mild flavor, so it's basically like a normal flavored waffle. I love the texture, it's like a mochi waffle so it is chewy and has a pull to fight with as you eat it. There is no crunch on the outside unfortunately. And it does get soggy because of the ice cream on the top, so dont take too long eating it LOL. For the ice cream you can get between 1-3 scoops of either vanilla, chocolate, matcha, or strawberry ice cream. I got the vanilla and strawberry ice cream flavors and they were good! For the drinks I tried the:- Glory Pearl ($6.50) - it was lychee jasmine green tea with lychee jelly. I thought it was alright. Just like lychee fruit tea!- Crescent Moon ($6.50) - peach black tea with peach jelly. It is alright as well, i enjoyed the glory pearl more.Service:The items came out in a timely manner. There is a key to the bathroom (fyi)Ambiance:A cute and relaxing spot. It is clean and good for hanging out!The whole thing came out to around 40 dollars for two desserts and two drinks. I enjoyed the desserts overall and would come back! Check out my instagram @the.foodie.patootie for more detailed reviews!

Came back to Sweet Memes for dessert after having dinner around the corner. Tried the strawberry syrup instead of the Carmel and after a few bites wished I would have gotten the Carmel again... that said, the strawberry was still good and went well with the waffle. I think I was just blown away at the Carmel that nothing can top it now. Would still recommend if you're a strawberry lover!

Super cute spot for desserts and teas! The decor is very trendy. The menu has something for everyone, from desserts to unique teas and other drinks that are great if you're not a tea lover. While the drinks are great, the desserts are what I really come for, especially the fluffy Japanese pancakes! The attached parking garage makes it super convenient spot to visit for a sweet treat after a meal

Pancakes: Their soufflé pancakes are a must-try--five stars for sure! I had the Crème Brûlée and also tasted the Original, both were fantastic. I'll definitely be back to try the other flavors.Drinks: I wasn't impressed with the hot tea (I chose peach). The flavor was faint, and the glass diffuser sat on a warmer with a tea candle that quickly burnt out. I wouldn't recommend the hot tea, but I'll opt for the bubble teas next time.Ordering: Ordering is easy with the terminals. The staff prepares everything promptly and quickly announces your number when it's ready.Ambiance: The decor is charming, with each corner having its own special theme. It's a delightful place to relax and enjoy a treat.Parking: You can park in the garage or along the street in front of the store--convenient options.Overall: I'll definitely return for the soufflé pancakes, but I'll skip the hot tea in favor of something else.

Very cute place with amazing desserts! We ordered the taro soufflé pancake and ube crepe, both were really good and I'd definitely order again. Soufflé pancake was so fluffy and the toppings complemented it very well without being too sweet. Ube crepe had a distinct flavor from the taro and also a really nice texture and semi-sweetness to it.There's a free underground parking garage directly behind the building with lots of parking spaces, just a little tricky finding when using GPS to get there for the first time. Also of drink options on the menu and other types/flavors of dessert.Went when it was pretty busy but our food came out fast and there was still lots of seating available.

I ordered the classic "honey toast" and sea salt Vietnamese coffee. If you've ever had honey toast and know what it is, this is not it. They use regular sliced white bread. It's not the right bread for honey toast so don't bother. Don't disappoint yourself like I did. In the picture on the kiosk, it kinda looks like the right bread is used/displayed but it's hard to exactly tell cus the picture is small. Get something else like a croffle or soufflé. The people next to me got those and they looked good. The sea salt Vietnamese coffee didn't have a sea salt taste to it to me. It was good but in my opinion, just take sea salt out of the name. And there were giant fruit flies that kept buzzing around cus of the fruit and honey on the toasted white bread. So annoying and gross.

Colorful and whimsical in ambience and food. I ordered the matcha soufflé pancakes and raindrop dessert after a heavy meal. It was delicious. It wasn't too sweet ;) and the portions were just right. Price was $17~, which I think is appropriate. But don't take my word for it -- I'm unfortunately numb to paying $10-12 for mediocre lattes. The soufflé pancakes weren't too eggy either. The texture was just as fluffy as I hoped it to be. As for the raindrop dessert, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked it! The roasted soybean powder and brown sugar syrup paired perfectly with the mild jelly. The jelly itself is also very cute.Inside of the cafe, it is decked out in fairytale like decorations with garden accents and pink everything. The perfect place for a girl's day activity or family outings. Overall, I'm satisfied with my experience! Yay!
