Sushi Ocean

This is a nice spot. The restaurant isn't very large but it is great for groups of no more than 6. The restaurant gives a mom and pop vibe due to the very friendly and kind staff. I had the shrimp tempura, miso soup, spicy edamame, and the shrimp tempura roll. Everything was hot, fresh, and delicious. The presentation was also great. Overall, a great dining experience.

Very personable and sweet servers to help and check in on us. Me and my partner split 4 rolls: Volcano roll, crazy roll, ocean roll, and happy roll. The volcano roll was both our favorite it had both a slight kick but think the cucumber provided a nice texture to the roll. I'm usually a big fan of fried rolls and the crazy roll was good but I think I would have preferred one of the others that either had something to provide a different texture of taste, even if just a slice of Serrano. Once bitten it was just a lot of cream cheese and similar textured things. I'd still recommend all 4 rolls but just saying what things I'd look into doing differently on my next visit. Service was also very fast with getting our rolls out.

If you have the hankering for some sushi - this place has some good rolls, not out of this world, but they're just down the street; tasty and convenient.Our picks for sushi include:- Ahi Tower- love roll- tiger's eye roll- hot night roll- yellowtail heaven roll (favorite)- 911 roll...but if you want to have some spicy ramen: HECK YEAH! This place makes some GREAT ramen!!!- Spicy Ramen (Always delicious - we've never had a bad one of these) Their calamari isn't anything to write home about - wouldn't recommend it..It's small, but clean and the service is great; always polite and helpful!

I love the food here. Nice selection of sushi offerings and non-sushi offerings. Their Beef Bulgogi is one of my favorites! Locally owned/not a chain restaurant, and that is amazing ing. The owners and staff are always very friendly and so very fast.

The sushi rolls were very big. I was full from 1 roll. I will give it a 8 out of 10 for taste. They played a really good playlist and it has very calm ambience. The server was very kind and always there when needed. It's a perfect for date night or for meeting up with friends.

My husband and I LOVE Sushi Ocean. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but they can deliver some fresh, delicious sushi! We really love the City Roll and always get Miso Soup. The Chicken Yakisoba is a huge portion and a very good option if you want something different. The inside is very cute and clean and the chef who I think may be the owner is so nice. They also have happy hour with some good sake options and lunch specials. If you're in the neighborhood please give them some business!

Super yummy sushi spot! Came in between lunch and dinner time when most spots are closed. Small dining area but wasn't busy at the time. Couldn't decide what to get so went for the sushi boat. The sashimi and nigiri pieces were a great size and tasted good. The fried roll was a bit much, but offset all the fresh going on the rest of the boat. Came with miso soup and a small side salad. Would totally come back if I'm the neighborhood or crave sushi during that off hour!

Small neighborhood eatery in West Round Rock, quaint, good service, good food. More than just sushi.

The food is excellent.I have to say it is certainly my favorite sushi restaurant.The service was so good greated warmly and are sever was so wonderful.10 for him.And the preparer of our lunch was perfect.The restaraunt was very clean.We have been here before and our definitely returning.I would recommend Sushi Ocean to everyone that wants to enjoy a perfect lunch.

We finally had the opportunity to try this place and we were not disappointed. After living in Japan for a number of years, we're rather picky about sushi and aren't crazy about some of the places that try to be too fancy or trendy. Sushi Ocean is wonderful. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, the prices are great, and the sushi is delicious! The cherry on top, it's on our way home. This cute little place will definitely be added to our favorites list. Highly recommend.
