My friends and I bought tickets to see VAVO at Summit on NYE. I was worried it would be a very young crowd since we are all in our 30s, but there was definitely a mix of ages from young 20s to 50s. Once the clock hit 10pm, the bouncers started getting people inside swiftly. The first bartender we went to poured a super weak drink. The second bartender we tried poured a great drink and I visited him the rest of the night. Basic cocktails were around $10. VAVO put on a super fun show. It was crowded, but not so crowded it got annoying. We still had plenty of room to dance. The space is on the rooftop, but I appreciated that they had powerful heaters and it was enclosed for the night. Tip- don't do bottle service. The booth areas are right next to the dance floor and the prices didn't seem worth it. I'd definitely recommend this place to see a good DJ. We all had a fun time!

My friend and I had the worst experience last night at Summit because of one of the female bartenders. We went to go order our drinks. My friend ordered a tequila pineapple and I ordered a ranch water. The bartender proceeds to make my friend a tequila red bull instead and my "ranch water". The bartender then said "that's not your drink" to my friend in a very rude tone, which is funny because she directly handed it to my friend as if it was her drink. We thought it was super weird and rude right off the bat, because she was mad at my friend for taking a sip of it after she directly handed it to her. She then makes her a tequila pineapple (what she ordered) and we go on the dance floor. I proceed to take a sip of my "ranch water" and get a mouth full of salt. I look at my drink and there is about a pound of salt at the bottom of my cup. I spit it out and run back to the bar and ask for a new drink kindly. She immediately gives me attitude and says, "Girl are you not from Mexico?? That's how we drink them!" she was just assuming my race first of all (I am Hispanic but not Mexican) and second of all ranch waters originated in Austin. I now know she was just making it up but I kindly took the drink back and said "Oh, well if that's the 'authentic' way of drinking them then I will keep it'". She then proceeds to say "Well if you're nicer to me next time I will make it free and way better" never once was I rude, as all I ever said to her was "Can I have a ranch water".... so I said "Oh my goodness, if you felt that I was rude to you I'm so sorry, but all I asked you for was a ranch water so I'm confused on how that was rude." She proceeded to keep trying to argue with me after I apologized for no reason and I eventually just had to walk away from the situation and said "You're just rude" because there was no use and I came to have a good time, not to argue especially with the bartender who I was nothing but kind to. Anyways, my friend and I finished our drinks and my sodium levels were tanked from my pound of salt because of the wonderful bartender who is miserable with her life and is rude to customers for no reason but we went to the male bartender and he was super sweet and we appreciated him after that awful unprofessional experience. I bartend and work at a bar myself and this is not someone who deserves to be serving others.

Completely false advertised and left us standing in the rain. No where on any event posting did they disclose it was a fraternity sponsored event. My girlfriend and I stood in the rain being shoved out of line and assaulted. Then once we finally got in the the screen just said EAE the whole time and we weren't able to get wrist bands for drinks due to the security staff being pissed off at the amount of shoving to push to the front of the line to avoid the rain. Terrible venue, complete money grab attempt.

If I could give this nightclub a half star I would. Bouncers are rude, staff can care less about vip. Everyone is unhelpful. Don't waste your money on this place, it feels like a scam. My bf and I bought vip tickets to see borgeous Saturday night for my bday and it was the worst experience I've had at a nightclub. The staff was rude, we couldn't even access both floors and we never received free drinks. What's the point of paying for vip when there's nothing "vip" about it??Never coming back to this place..

I went to see Shaboozy lastnight paid 110.00 dollars and only see him for no more than 10 minutes. We basically paid to watch DJs all night The tickets should if said guest Appearance. Not that he was going to do a concert. Such a money grab from this venue I'll never go back.

Absolutely scam!! We waited from 10pm to 1:30 am. Performer shaboozey finally started his first song at 1:30am and finished at 1:42am only playing a total 3 songs . We paid 60 per ticket for a concert & were robbed at point blank. Advertisement did not say appearance.. This was pure disrespect to the fans on both shaboozey & Summit. I won't support either entity after this nights. Hotel, tickets & food for the weekend were all to support an artist we believed in & he showed his true colors to the fans . I spend hard earned money to see a concert on memorial weekend & this is a slap in the face to people that supported summit & shaboozey.

So so awful! If you're planning to come here to watch a show be prepared to wait 4 hours for a 5 minute performance. Show was said to start at 10 pm, and they ended up playing terrible club music and teasing the artist's arrival until he finally showed up at 1:30 am. He performed 2 songs and just left and the DJ came back on. I'm actually so upset, it was such a waste of money, if you want to see a show here please reconsider!

Such a great upstairs but your sound system is aggressively loud. The front 50% of the space is horrid to be in. Drinks are overpriced but to be expected. I'd only go to see an artist I know, would never just casually drop by.
