This spot offers a relaxing ambiance with beautiful natural light and large glass windows that showcase the view perfectly. While the menu has changed slightly, there are still plenty of options to enjoy. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, which added to the experience.I tried the smoked turkey sandwich, which was packed with flavor and paired with crispy fries, while my friend ordered the beer-battered cod sandwich, which they really enjoyed. Both dishes were yummy.Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this spot. The only downside is the downtown location, which meant paying for parking--and it was pricey--but that's to be expected in Austin.

TLDR: Beautiful restaurant, but MORE ITEMS PLEASE!I absolutely love Summer House--it feels like stepping into my rich aunt's kitchen, especially when you snag the corner spot by the windows. The clean green interior and nature-inspired touches are so calming. I came in for brunch and had the Breakfast Sandwich. The food is beautifully presented and tastes delicious, but the menu is limited and changes frequently. Unfortunately, I've yet to see any pescatarian options...

This place is such a nice little oasis tucked away behind the bustling South Congress! We came for brunch on a Sunday and it was a great experience. Our server was attentive, and the food was delicious and nicely portioned. It was lowkey and peaceful but had an elevated vibe.Note that the restaurant validates valet parking for up to 2 hours.

We came here looking for something lighter and healthier and opted for salads. We were not disappointed as they were both delicious. The wife loved hers and I loved mine. The staff was nice and sitting on the patio was nice atmosphere on a warm day. The server didn't mind when I asked for a different table closer to the back and away from other tables already seated, which was appreciated. Come here when you need a break from BBQ.

Visited here recently with some friends for Sunday brunch. Absolutely love the ambiance inside feels kind of mid century modern. The service was really good, our waitress was sweet and nice at recommending drinks. The booth/table they sat us at could've used some more cleaning underneath. I ordered the challah French toast and italicus spritz. Loved the drink, citrusy but not bitter. The French toast was huge and with the mascarpone hardly needed to add maple syrup to it. It was a tad expensive for what it was, would have loved if it came with a small side portion. My husband and i spilt the loaded hash browns. All in all a good place to enjoy once in a while for brunch, tricky parking but if you're lucky you can find something on soco or use the garage.

Such a cute spot--perfect for a girls' brunch! The vibe is very Instagram-worthy, with the greenary outside and terrace, and the food came out pretty quickly. I had the Avocado Toast 'Croissandwich, and it was delicious! Loved the twist of using a croissant instead of a biscuit--it made all the difference. The flavors were on point, and I definitely enjoyed every bite. I also really enjoyed my vanilla latte. It wasnt too sweet and you could really taste the flavor. The only downside was the service. While the food was quick, the staff didn't really keep up with basic things like refilling our water. My meal was a bit spicy, so I ended up needing more water and had to wait a bit longer than expected to get help. We also waited a while for the check, so just be prepared to block out a good amount of time if you're dining here.Still, the food was great, and the atmosphere makes it worth the visit!

Small brunch menu, but huge flavors, especially in their shareables! We had a lovely seat by the window with a nice view, and even the waiting area near the outdoor seating was charming. We tried nearly half of the shareables, and I'm still thinking about the donuts (not pictured). I'm usually not a donut person, but these were so fluffy and flavorful! My friend ordered a salad with steak, and the steak was cooked perfectly, melting in my mouth. On the other hand, my order of biscuits and gravy with turkey sausage was disappointing. The gravy was too thick, cold, and it was lacking something. The biscuit was hard--I only ate about 25% of it. They also advertised a Topo Chico with ginger beer, which sounded interesting, but they brought the wrong drink twice, so I just let it go.I'd definitely come back for the shareables and a latte!

I think this place is over hype. It is pretty but not memorable. I dined in for lunch and sat on the patio. Our server was very kind but service was extremely slow, I ordered the smoked turkey which was good and the portion was large enough to share between two people although I couldn't taste any of the lemon mayo at all. Not worth $17 bucks. The fries were way too seasoned and a little too soft. Not my favorite. The lunch menu needs some revision and more variety to fit the bill.

LOVED my experience here. From the cute interior and exterior, to the wonderful servers who genuinely seem happy with their job, and the amazing food. The pineapple juice was so fresh, the coffee smelled and tasted phenomenal, the beet and burrata salad with strip steak was super good! We tried the pop tart pastry which was good and not too sweet. We couldn't help but eyeball every plate coming out of the kitchen and wow! The donuts look amazing and everyone else's food looked great as well. I will definitely return and bring friends for a nice brunch/lunch situation. We arrived 45 min early for our reservation and they accommodated it without hesitation. This place is a hidden gem and it's nicely tucked away right off of S Congress.

Went for brunch and was so yummy! Loved the big side of potato. Was enough for everyone to share. It's been a month since and I still think of the avocado sandwich. Cute and quiet enough during brunch to hear your friends but not too quiet that it's uncomfortable. Nice staff.
