Food was excellent!! I had 'Chicken Biryani Chettinad' style and 'Kili Chicken Parotta' wrapped in banana leaf, both the dishes tasted really good, very much like South Indian taste that I used to have back home.. Special thanks to Mahesh for making sure it was well packed and also providing extra banana leaf to takeaway , it was nice touch to have food at home with banana leaf like a traditional style.. !!!

Terrible. 1 star because couldn't give lower than that. We got chicken lollipops, dosas and parrota mutton. The dosa batter was clearly stale. Weird bitter taste to it. Chicken lollipops were a joke - super tiny, super dry and over fried. Would never go here again.

I had to order a family meal plan at the last minute (the day before Thanksgiving) because Namaste Dine-In was trying to charge me over a hundred bucks for a half pan of vegetable biryani rice. I called the morning of and placed my order. The guy who took the order said to come at any time to pick it up. The price was significantly under a hundred. Since I work full time, I was only able to get off work by close of business. I went to pick it up and was told that they had thrown out my order because I hadn't come sooner. I was thinking, "Hmm, you said to come at any time." The guy at the pickup counter then said it was okay; he would make a fresh batch. So, I wait towards the side and notice that the restaurant is packed to the brim with people sitting and eating. There were a lot of people ordering takeout, too. Then, I was called to the counter to pick up my biryani rice and the front counter guy proceeded to give me another bag. I accepted it thinking it was sauces. When I got home, I noticed that the other bag of food wasn't vegan and I couldn't eat it. I'm not sure why he gave me someone else food. On Thanksgiving Day, my family gathered around and took a bite of the most aromatic, delicious, divine vegetable biryani in the world! It tasted so much better than Noon and Mirch biryani, which tends to be overly and underseasoned and lacks consistency. Subham did not disappoint with the vegetables cooked to tenderness. Everyone raved about how good the biryani rice was. My mum even asked for me to order it for Christmas, but we didn't since we celebrated Tex-Mex-style dinner. Yummy and I dreamed about the rice that melted in my mouth with each bite!

I came in last night with Thing Two and my partner. We ordered many things... So let's get to it, shall we? Shrimp Tandoori-Tandoori shrimp is an Indian dish where shrimp is marinated in a yogurt-based spice blend, typically including ingredients like cumin, coriander, turmeric, garlic, ginger, and chili powder, then cooked at a high temperature in a tandoor oven, giving it a smoky, flavorful taste; essentially, it's the shrimp version of traditional tandoori chicken, cooked with the same marinade and style. Tandoori shrimp is on the menu at most Indian restaurants here in the U.S. This shrimp served here has less chili undertones and muted flavors. The char could be tasted but not much of anything else. Chicken Lolipops -Chicken Lollipop is made from both drumette and wingette or flat of a chicken wing and is essentially a frenched chicken winglet, wherein the meat is cut loose from the bone end and pushed down, creating a lollipop appearance. The chicken on this appetizer was crunchy, flavorful, yet a bit fatty, which is to be expected from a drummette. Hot and Sour Soup-This soup was an interesting find as it is less Indian in origin amd more Indo-Chinese cuisine. Desi-Chinese cuisine is a distinct style of Chinese cuisine adapted to Indian tastes, combining Chinese foods with Indian flavors and spices. This soup had the sour from Chinese influence, yet the spices and vegetables that are associated with Indian culture. This soup was mild in taste yet flavorful because of the Indian spices used. Curry Fish-This dish is prepared with semi-stewed fish in a Kerala-style sauce. Sauces such as this typically includes a blend of spices and assorted vegetables to include onions. This Indian fish curry is a moderately spicy dish and has a touch of tang to it which cuts through the richness of the sauce.Other items sampled were on par with the aforementioned entrees and appetizers. If in the area and looking for close to India experience (based upon my experiences in India in open seating establishments), this may be the place for you. #supportlocal

We stopped by on a whim. We found a delightful casual Indian Cafe and so very friendly. We are Indian food novices so we asked for help and my goodness did they deliver. We were offered a Thali sampler type plate with 11 dishes plus rice! Each better than the next. We also ordered as an appetizer the shrimp chili garlic. Wow that was amazing. And we ordered garlic naan. Sooo good. It was all such a treat. They have a HUGE menu so come back. Ask for Mahesh, he will take care of you!

One of the many few Indian restaurants in Austin area that is delicious! Being Indian, we are picky with eating Indian at a restaurant. The restaurant staff is so welcoming and provided excellent service. The rava dosa was cooked to perfection alongside the flavorful chutneys and sambar. My bf got goat curry and loved it. It was spicy, flavorful and tender. The papadi chaat was ok. It lacked yogurt, chutneys, and toppings. I wouldn't get it next time. The waiter was nice enough to remove it from our bill. I would definitely come back here! Thanks for a great first experience :)

My party of 4, which includes a toddler, went to Subham on a Saturday afternoon. We were able to find a table very quickly. The restaurant came across somewhat disorganized. It took a while for someone to come to take the order and provide cutlery. Water was provided only on being asked for it. The food was ok. Tried multiple dishes -Mutton kottu parotha: wasn't flavorful Chicken lollipop: this was goodPlain dosa: this was normalNon veg thali: wasn't greatMango Lassi: was goodThe thali took 45 mins to arrive, and the server was clueless when we enquired about the order. The taste wasn't that good to justify the wait. They did deduct it from our bill but nevertheless it wasn't a great dining experience

Delicious Tamil Style Indian Food. Loved all the dishes we tried and reasonably priced. We ordered the karam dosa, kuthu parata for starters and shared a Thalappakatti biryani to finish. Everything was very well cooked and loved the experience.

Wow... this is definitely in my top three favorite indian meals. They are very very busy but we didn't have to wait at all for a table because they are pretty efficient about getting people in and out. Our server was a super friendly younger guy who walked us through the menu and gave his too picks for each section. Everything looked so good that I will definitely be back to try more! We got the butter chicken curry and their specialty curry which garlic and regular naan. The naan was top tier and the curry was so flavorful. It literally still had cloves, bay leaves and star anise in whole form (which some people may not like, but I respected the explosion of flavor/knowing what went into my food). My only complaint is the lack of ventilation in the place. A lot of the dishes come on a hot plate which spices that are sizzling hot so it creates a fume that left many people hacking away. It also left your entire clothes and hair smelling like the place for at least 2 days after. But I do understand it's difficult to change that and the food is so good I'm very willing to overlook that fact. Just don't come with your nicest clothes/jackets and hair all done up and fresh.

I love Indian food, especially northern Indian food. We love the food at Bayleaf in Round Rock but a friend talked me into going here. The restaurant was clean and brightly lit. Good AC too! Having lived in Singapore for three years, we often had butter chicken. The butter chicken here was perfectly spiced and a perfect heat level. The garlic naan was very good but a notch below Bayleaf. My favorite dish at Bayleaf is their lamb korma, so I'll try the same here next time. Service was great. I will be back!
