I was horrified and repulsed by the pizza that was delivered. My friend and I ordered a cheese pizza and was delivered a box of leftover pepperoni and Hawaiian slices that look like they were slapped into a box and were going to be discarded for the night. This was the most unusual experience I've had and not sanitary.

Sometimes you need a break in the evening to fill your belly with carbs. And this pizza truck does the trick with reasonably priced slices ($4) that are ready fast and taste good enough. I, personally, loved how firm the crust is.Pepperoni Slice: The crust was nice and firm, no need to worry about drooping. The sauce was spread kinda lightly, but was tasty. A good amount of cheese. And nice umami rounds of pepperoni. A classic slice, done surprisingly well from a truck.Cheese Slice: Like the pepperoni, but with no meat. Same great crust. Same crave-worthy cheese.

Food = OKService/consistency = Sub optimalConsensus = there are so many better options to actually take pride in delivering the correct order and not canceling your order after an hour. I am very jaded on this establishment after being slighted multiple times. Order and risk; caveat emptor.

Even if I wasn't inebriated, I would still come to Stony's... just not during prime time aka 2 AM on weekends. If you like hefty slices, you've come to the right place. Think cheesy slices with tons of whatever you're wanting (combination, etc). What's even better? You can order a whole pie here, not just slices!

If they were also a record company, they'd be Sony's Pizza. If they didn't actually sell pizza, they'd be Phony Pizza. And if they had Viagra in their Pizza, they'd be Bone-y Pizza. They only had a couple of types of slices instead of all the ones advertised which I guess is okay because it was really late night and only a few minutes to closing, but they stayed open way after closing which was pretty cool. The slice is good and it wasn't too expensive so I will give it 4 stars, but if it was New York City I probably would have given it 3 because it didn't blow me away, but not many options at 2 a.m. in Austin are better than this slice.

Been getting pizza here since 2010!! I left Tx after the army came back to visit and it's still on point . Great sauce thin crispy crust and huge slices. I'm from Chicago and this is my favorite pizza in Texas.

This review may be inflated but they came around my neighborhood during shelter in place. So it was first fresh pizza I've had in awhile...The dough, the cheese and the tomato sauce were all excellent.

This is one of many small pizza joints in downtown Austin. I'm not sure how many of these places are open generally but on Friday night, they close the street off and every place opens up, including multiple other hole in the wall pizza joints. We chose to try this one because their prices are lower than most ($4 a slice at most) and their large neon sign caught our eye. We had to wait just a few minutes for a fresh cheese pizza to come out of the oven so we decided to wait. Ultimately the pizza was just ok, but it totally fits the bill if for a quick, easy to eat, stomach coating for drinking. What really stood out to me was his care for the homeless community. One homeless person came up to us in line for change. But after he had finished with us he asked the guy (I assume the owner) "come back at 1am?" And he said "yeah come on back at 1". Which means I can only assume he gives out the left over pizza to the homeless which I love. I've worked in the food service industry before and there is SO much waste. So I'm super glad he gives back especially instead throwing it out. TLDR: support this place; the prices are cheap and and he gives back to the homeless community.

I'm not sure what happened to this place but the 6th street location was just way off. We grabbed a slice after s show and it was lacking flavor and was doughy. I've had better frozen pizzas like others have said. Typical Austin gimmicks here folks, stay away.

First night in Austin I decided to check out East 6th Street. The comedy show I wanted to attend was sold out so I walked up and down the street. I stumbled upon the mobile Stony's and decided to grab a slice. My fiancé and I waited a few minutes for a new pizza to come out of the oven. The actual pizza was just okay. It's a simple thin crust pizza which doesn't have much flavor. Definitely nothing to write home about. Maybe if you're drunk this pizza will taste delicious, but from what I had I wasn't impressed. The cheese pizza was only $3 so at least it was cheap.
