Stony's Pizza

As an Austin Native I do NOT suggest Stonys Pizza - due to their OVER PRICED prices. $9 for a slice. Ridiculous right? Shame on them

Best pizza on 6th street hands down! I wish the hours were extended a little more and they were consistently open. I love this place!! The staff is also very kind.

I'm not gonna lie! Bomb Pizza after a night of scootering and bar hopping on Rainey Street!!!Very tasty!Of course, we ditched the scooters and walked to our hotel. I would totally recommend. I love pizza and this place rocked!PS: PLEASE PLEASE BE AWARE THAT AUSTIN PD DOES NOT RESPOND TO NON EMERGENT CALLS FOR SERVICE!!!!They will NOT even come to your location to take a theft report where the suspect has already fled the scene. I believe the thieves know this. I can't blame Austin PD as the recent uprises have defunded the police. Sadly, I'm sure this will eventually happen everywhere to large crime ridden cities. Watch your property don't leave anything expensive in your rooms while you're out on the town!!!!Don't let this discourage you from having fun & going to Stony's!!!!!!CHEERS!!!

This truck was at an event. I had the following issues - 1. No menu or pics. Could not determine if they sold by the slice, small individual pies, and style of pizza until I saw someone else get their order. This also means no prices until you have placed your order. This leads to #2.2. $5 per slice. It's at an outdoor event so I would expect inflated prices. But still a shock since you can't adjust expectations due to lack of menu.3. Extremely slow moving line. I was 6th in line and it took 30 mins before I received my 2 cheese slices. I cannot understand why this moved so extremely slow.4. Pizza was mediocre. Their were little to no sauce and the crust was too hard and dry. The cheese on it was not bad through. It certainly was not the worst slice I have had in Austin but it's not top tier either.Btw, all the other carts had menus and prices listed and their lines moved much faster so this was just unique to Stony's Pizza.So there are lots of things these people can do to optimize their operations to provide a better and more pleasant experience.

3.5 stars but rounding up for a solid cheese pizza from a food truck! Stony's serves New York style pizza with a thin crust, and I enjoyed my slice of Cheese Pizza (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=yXaZB2xONJDBKf9xnEU7BQ&userid=76vIFZcC7owykCBjMfGVXg). I liked how bubbly they got the cheese on top, but wished there was more cheese on my slice. I appreciated that it wasn't too greasy. My slice was ready to go, and this would be the perfect late night snack after a night of drinking.

Great greasy, meaty cheese pizza option! I could definitely eat a whole pie from them. I was able to try a free slice due to a Yelp event. This is a great food truck for drunken late nights. Is it the best pizza you will ever taste? No, but it is pretty good! I loved the crust, just doughy enough but still thin with lots of cheese and not a lot of sauce on the piece. I was a little sad I received a piece that barely had a topping on it though :( Great service from the guys in the truck.

Great thin crust pizza and the pepperoni's are huge. Didn't have to wait too long either with a decent line.

This was my first time trying Stony's Pizza. I love pizza so I was excited to try the big slices when the food truck visited my apartment yesterday. Customer service was ok. I was greeted with a what's up. Staff were wearing mask. Each slice of pizza was $4.50. I ordered three slices. I was expecting for my three slices to be put in a small box, but they gave me the gigantic box. The person that took my order gave me the slices and asked for payment. He told me how much my total was after I asked him for the total. I didn't get a receipt or napkins. The pizza is too greasy for my liking. I only ate 1 and 1/2 slices because all I could taste was grease. I will not be trying Stony's pizza again!

It's been a while since I've had some solid large slice Pizza. This was part of a Yelp event that we went to so we got the pepperoni. Really delicious, nice and crispy just the way I like it

This food truck had the worst, soggiest pizza I've ever had for the most I've ever paid for a piece of pizza. Go literally anywhere else
