Still Austin Whiskey Co.

Ended our trip to The Yard at Still Austin Whiskey Co., and it was the perfect way to wrap up the day! They had Drag Bingo outside and private tours happening inside--Sundays here are definitely lively!We ordered the Bee's Knees (both the gin and whiskey versions) and an Old Fashioned--all were fantastic. The servers were great, super friendly, and knowledgeable. Can't wait to come back!

The only gin we keep in our house is made here!Still Austin is a go-to for us at least a few times a year, especially during The Yard themed Walkabouts quarterly. We've tried all their concoctions my favorites are definitely Gold Rush for Whiskey and the Bees Knees for Gin. Great outdoor seating and atmosphere with fans and string lights, a large stage, and lots of plants. When it is busy, especially in the summer there is another bar accessible across the outdoor area. They usually have a food truck outside as well, it used to be Bearded Baking and now it's been Huckleberry. Inside there is some small seating in the back near the merch and large windows viewing of the distilling areas and a few barrels to stand at. There are gendered bathrooms that are very clean and well stocked.

We returned to Still Austin Whiskey Co. for their 7th anniversary, and it was another memorable experience! Honey Made had everyone grooving with their lively performance, and Still Austin delivered once again with their delicious cocktails. I had a Cereal Killer--a creative mix of Straight Rye, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, coconut milk, and cinnamon brown sugar, which was both fun and flavorful. I also tried the Bee's Knees, a classic gin cocktail with honey and lemon that was light and refreshing.The highlight of the day? Celebrating the 71st birthday of "D Bone," the trombone player! The overall energy of the event, combined with great music, drinks, and company, made for a fantastic Saturday afternoon. Still Austin continues to impress with its vibe, unique drinks, and sense of community. Can't wait to be back again!

Still Austin is a solid spot for whiskey done right. The flights are reasonably priced, making it easy to sample their lineup, but if you're looking for a guaranteed hit, go for the Old Fashioned. Smooth, balanced, and exactly what you want in a well-made drink. The area itself has a cool, walkable vibe, but once you settle in with a good pour, you won't be in a rush to leave. Definitely worth a visit. I'll be going again.

This distillery sits amongst several other businesses all in a row collectively known as "The Yard". It's actually nice just to come and walk around and see all the other businesses lined up next to each other. This place is very welcoming with lots of outdoor seating. There is seating inside as well, but it's in the back corner. The spirits they produce are actually quite good and reasonably priced, and you should also be able to find them at Total Wine and Specs. They do have some gift sets and I picked up a three pack. Definitely a great place to come and chill with some of their mixed beverages in their large outdoor beer garden. There's also an Italian food truck on the premises which has a brick pizza oven. The photos below should get you through the door.

I discovered Still Austin when my daughter (after reading raving review in Whisky Advocate magazine) gave me one of their bottles as a gift for father's day. That was it. Instant fan! I joined their mailing list and was lucky enough to purchase a limited-edition whisky aged in a Madeira (a Portuguese fortified wine) barrel. They cannot ship it, so I schlepped my way up to Austin and picked it up in person. Of course, you can't simply stop in and run off. So, we had our group (in town for F1 Austin) meet us there for sips. Some of us had neat pours, others cocktails or beer. Everyone loved their offerings. Parking was very limited, as they're located in an industrial park. Aside from that, the staff are hip and fun. The outdoor seating is relaxed. We paired our booze with food from the food trailer on site. We'll stop by here whenever we're in the area. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

RHOP brought me here! :) In Austin for the weekend to kick off a winery crawl. I'm a whiskey gal so I took the opportunity to suggest this as our first stop as our first stop. We were able to find it with no issue but parking (although provided) still seems to be a task and possibly a nightmare on a nice day lol. The bar area is nice and the space is not huge but does offer indoor and outdoor seating. Service was great! Dylan provided an amazing, in-depth tour of the distillery and a great overview of the company. Still thinking about that moonshine pre-barrel shot LOL. Our tastings included 4 of their selection and they do come with quite a kick! Had an amazing time and would visit again!

Came across this place after grabbing a quick brew at St Elmo Brewery. Still Austin is such a cute and inviting distillery! Nestled in The Yard, it has a cozy atmosphere that's perfect for sipping and relaxing. We tried their peach whiskey cocktail, and wow - it was strong but absolutely delicious. Definitely worth a visit if you're into whiskey or just want to enjoy a unique Austin experience!

Quick stop to pick up a seasonal bourbon variety so decided to try the frozen old fashioned which I never had. Wow...it was so delicious and refreshing on that hot day! Really like the quality of spirits they offer that's unique to Austin. Service always good and like the quaint atmosphere with food trucks if you're hungry and need quick bite. Nice place to try if you're in the area.

We love Still! We've done a tour in the past but this last time, I was picking up a bottle of their Monster Mash special release that I'd ordered online previously. We also each got a drink. My personal fave was the cinnamon toast drink (I forget the name) but the old fashioned is really good too.
