It was a great spot for brunch! We ordered a carafe of mimosas, which came with champagne and a mix of passion fruit juice and orange juice. They also offer other juice options, which was a nice touch. I also had the Energize juice (carrot, orange, and ginger), which was super fresh and refreshing. For food, we started with the biscuits for the table, which were the perfect mix of sweet and savory. For my main, I had the short rib grilled cheese on a Hawaiian roll with smoked cheddar, caramelized onions, and jus, served with fries. The fries were a bit on the salty side, but everything else was absolutely delicious. We also had the pecan praising French toast which I liked as well. Then the grapefruit curd parfait with granola and fruits for the baby. The service didn't particularly stand out, but the overall experience was still great. One thing I really appreciated was the discounted valet for $10, which made parking super convenient. It's also a kid-friendly restaurant, with crayons and coloring sheets to keep little ones entertained.Overall, I'd definitely come back. The food and drinks were fantastic, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Disappointing BLT SaladThis was the most underwhelming salad I've ever had. First off, where was the bacon? I could count the pieces on one hand--if you're going to call it a BLT salad, bacon should be the star of the show. There was no blue cheese in sight, just a bland pile of lettuce with a few sad tomato chunks thrown in for good measure. To top it off, the crispy onions were completely absent. It's baffling that anyone thought this was okay to serve. This wasn't a BLT salad; it was an overpriced bowl of disappointment. I almost forgot about my fish tank water. My glass stunk to high heaven. The entire table smelled it and most gagged.

Hospitality was amazing and so welcoming, finally a place that gets it when you are dealing with people. Everyone and especially Matt, Jazz and Becky are so good and make for a great experience here. Absolutely a must for brunch (my visit was on a Sunday). My order was the All American breakfast and everything was prepared perfectly. Matt was very impressive with his knowledge of the menu and his responsiveness. Jazz is amazing so helpful and made me feel at home. Becky has the biggest heart and welcomed me with open arms. I'm so happy I had brunch here. In the future I'm sure they will offer Huevos rancheros!

This was our first stop when in Austin. We had an early flight and were super hungry. After looking on Yelp and Tik Tok we settled on going to Stella San Jac. So glad we did. The servers all had on these crazy shirts and we were served by The Sheriff! He was amazing. His recommendations were on point. I don't normally do chicken fried steak but he said it was his favorite. Glad I trusted him. It was delicious. The gravy alone was a star. The chicken and waffles were perfection! Seasoned well and a little spicy with the sweet syrup worked well. The eggs were a little soft for me but thats really just preference. Mimosas to wash it down and we were happy. They are connected to a hotel so it was great to people watch and meet others. This is a must stop in Austin!

Wow, what an evening! Started off with the biscuits and ceviche - the biscuits are so soft and flaky, and the ceviche was rich and fresh. Really nice compliment to each other with the freshness of ceviche and savoriness from biscuits. I had the spicy shrimp pasta and it was very good. I'm typically a "medium" spice level and this was perfect for me. Of note, they don't have gluten free noodles so if you have an allergy, might be best to choose another dish.... Which the Braised Wagyu and Chicken dishes were off the charts!! My boyfriend's Wagyu plate was clean when he was done eating (HA) We didn't get dessert, but the table next to us ordered a key lime pie slice and it almost made us reconsider (but we were too full).Looking forward to coming back for Brunch!

Delicious brunch, I would definitely come again! It was completely full for Saturday brunch until it started clearing out at like 12:30, so reservations are recommended. We waited 20-25 minutes for a table, and people after us were give a 40min wait time. There are tables outside though if you're wanting a shorter wait time. I got the energize drink which I was very pleasantly surprised by! It was orange and carrot juice (couldn't really taste the carrot) with a spicy kick of ginger. I don't like green juices/juices that only taste healthy, but this was healthy and tasted good.We got the salmon eggs benedict and the fried chicken and waffles. The fried chicken is made of dark chicken and the spices on the batter are unique and enjoyable. Crisp is on point. Eggs benedict was solid, what you would expect from a benedict! I particularly enjoyed the side arugula salad with sundried tomatoes. Loved the vibe inside! Very classic. Restaurant is located on the first floor of the Westin and the host station is at the entrance facing the corner on the street. Valet parking is typically $22+$10 per additional hour, but the restaurant validates it down to just $10.

Food was Ok. Nothing special or memorable but it was a meal. I had the short rib grilled cheese and it was dry and lacked cheese. The others meals were also ok, but not a show stopper.Service was SLOWWWW. Had to ask for our waitress twice as we sat for some time(after receiving boxes) before getting our checks. They didn't split checks so if you go with a group be aware.

I typically steer clear of hotel restaurants, but fatigue from wandering the streets in search of a satisfying dessert led us to Stella. We were also staying at the Westin, where the restaurant is located, so why not. The peanut butter pie came highly recommended, so we decided to give it a try. Our server was exceptional--so persuasive that I regretted we weren't there for a full meal, especially with how he talked up the brunch menu. His recommendation of the pie felt like instant validation. The pie itself was quite impressive. It featured a unique crust made from pretzels and chocolate, a charming concept though somewhat challenging to cut through. Nevertheless, we managed to devour every last piece.Just a few hours later, after our godmother joined us, we returned. She opted for the steak and mash, and we also tried some biscuits and cauliflower. While the biscuits are a specialty, they didn't quite leave us longing for more, though they were decent. The cauliflower, on the other hand, was flavorful and quite enjoyable. Stella is undoubtedly a charming spot with a promising menu. Although I missed out on brunch this time, the menu alone would make me consider returning.

We went here on Labor Day for a birthday brunch- ultimately food was pretty dang good but the timing was pretty terrible. Maybe it was a holiday thing? We had a reservation at 11 and while our table was free when we arrived it wasn't set, so we had to wait for maybe 7-10 minutes to be seated. I checked in on yelp and requested the free biscuits; then when the server brought our waters he took our drink orders and entree orders at the same time. 20 minutes go by and no drinks, no biscuits. Our entrees came out at the same time as our drinks- now 20 min isn't crazy for entrees but I definitely expected my Paloma and some biscuits to hold me over! The biscuits didn't come out until we had requested the check so we had our server box them up. That being said, service was very friendly and helpful, and the food was great! I got the shrimp and grits and I'm not a huge grits person but with the shrimp, the Creole gravy and the corn and arugula- it was fantastic. Probably the best grits I've had (though I don't order them often). Everyone else was pretty happy with their meals, though I would note the chicken fried steak came with a very skimpy amount of gravy and we had to request more. Also the waffle hash browns with the dish were pretty well done. Overall I'd go again but maybe avoid holidays.

First off....The water here is amazing. It takes like it came straight from a glacier. Coffee was on point. Low acidity. Menu is small but let's be real.. when the menu isn't 4 pages it means they actually craft their food. They have fresh pressed juices which is what we all need. Biscuits and the deviled eggs are a must for appetizers. The ambiance is tasteful. Full view of the kitchen working diligently but also cool as a cucumber. Our server, Logan, was the best. Punctual, knowledgeable of the menu, efficient, (very well dressed and professional, yet charming), and enhanced our experience. Not to mention you can CHOOSE TWO DIFFERENT BENEDICTS! Never have I ever. Anyways, love this place. You should too.
