Always a good time! I am mainly posting this because I want to give a shout out to whoever was in charge of the playlist on Friday 2/7 - Doechii and Kendrick, c'mon. Bangers after bangers. Really put me in an even better mood. Good service, friendly folks! Good merch, too, I wish there were more crop tops for the gals. Make sure you get a burg from Patty Palace (dare I say it's just as good as the NADC smash...).

St Elmo Brewing Co is a great spot for a relaxed, family- and dog-friendly hangout in Austin. It definitely deserves points for the awesome outdoor area. Plus, it is dog-friendly both inside and out, which is rare to find. I'm honestly sad I didn't come here with my dog in the peak of the summer, because this would have been awesome! There is a nice variety of beer styles on tap, so whether you're into IPAs, stouts, or something lighter, St Elmo has you covered. One big perk is the free parking--tons of it in the open, shared lot out front! This alone makes it super convenient, and you may find yourself wandering between St Elmo and the neighboring locales (shout-out to the distillery next door!).I am giving St Elmo 4 stars, mainly because the interior seating was a bit of a letdown. The setup inside felt somewhat bland and lacked comfortable seating, making it a bit awkward to settle in. There were some picnic-style tables inside, as well as high-tops, none of which had seating with backs and were difficult to get comfortable on. They also had a large screen, which would have be awesome under normal circumstances, and were playing Chicken Run. Great classic movie, but just not the vibe for a lazy weekend afternoon with adults. But, with such a solid outdoor space and a dog-friendly policy, St Elmo Brewing Company is still worth the visit for a good beer and a chill vibe.

Cool brewery in Austin! The atmosphere is lively yet chill, and the staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. It's the kind of place where you can lose track of time (in the best way). They have a few food trucks and some other food options near by. Definitely a must-visit if you're in Austin and looking for great beer and good vibes!

St Elmo's is becoming my favorite brewery in Austin! The Carl is my favorite (Kolsch) and they have two food trucks onsite. The staff is always nice and hospitable and the music is great. They have good amount of seating inside and tonsssss of outdoor seating.

Nice variety of beers, ciders and even some wines. There's a small indoor seating area and large pet-friendly patio area. You can order something to eat from a couple of food trucks next to the brewery including the famous Spicy Boys Fried Chicken and Patty Palace, both of which mainly serve burgers although Spicy Boys has a few other menu items inviting rotu and curry, nuggets, some of which had vegetarian substitute options.

I keep looking for breweries on the way to places I am going to try them out and guess what? St Elmo is right on the way to the airport. I was going to pick up my nephew from the Airport, the flight was delayed a bit and I figured I could stop by to get the Growler filled. The Growler prices are great, the beer was great and the service was excellent. I am sure going back to try a flight next time.

Love the vibes at this brewery. Very laid back and fun. The staff has a great attitude and the backyard setup is very chill. The beer is also great! They have a great mix of different varieties. I am a fan of lighter beers so the Daria, Field and the Carl were my favorites.

Great place!!!Atmosphere: 4.5/5I loved this place. Great vibes. A decent sized outdoor space although on a Thursday night we couldn't find a table! I think if they had more spots for groups of 2/3 that would be really nice. All the seating was picnic tables so we ended up sharing with another group. If you're looking for something more intimate this is NOT the place. There was live music, mostly folk which was fun! Something to keep in mind is the inside is quite small and pretty loud. Dogs allowed outside!Beer: 4/5We got the cherry sour and it was delicious! Staff was friendly and let us sample as first timers here, didn't complain and was helpful! Food trucks out back are chicken and burger, not sure if there are any vegetarian options. The chicken was really good, would go again. The classic bugs are not too spicy by any means. The sour was a decent pour but was 17$ for two ( do they have happy hour? Not sure, I hope so! )Overall: 4/5Great place!! I would totally recommend, especially since there are so many other breweries nearby - great to find something for everyone- not sure if they let you walk around w other drinks / are connected but that would be pretty cool. Think I will come back here for sure!

I came here for the first time today after a hike with the St Elmo Outsiders group. We arrived to the brewery at 11:30 am and the place was already buzzing with patrons. It's a really neat location with ample indoor and outside seating. You order inside at the bar for drinks or the food trucks outside for food. The employees were super friendly and worked very efficient to manage the large crowd. It was also cool to see that the place is both child/family friendly and dog friendly. They have bunch of games and many non-alcoholic beverages to keep kids entertained, as well as water bowls to keep furry friends hydrated.I had the Leonardo (a pilsner) and a Roxanne (a sour); both of which were very good. I slightly preferred Roxanne because the sweetness of the blackberry balanced out the drink profile and made it a great refreshing beer for today's sunny weather.A cool thing I learnt from the owner today is that they sell beer at wholesale prices in reusable growlers to reduce their carbon footprint. I know where I'll be getting the beer for the next party I host
