This place is so great! I've been here a few times but never got around to posting review. I first came here when I took my parents were visiting from out of town and they loved it too. I've had the hot wing, brisket, and Frito pie potatoes and all were spectacular. Might be the Irish blood in me but I need potatoes and this place has my fix.

I am wondering if they were having an off night because their reviews are so great, but I just did not enjoy my meal from here last Friday night. I will say they location is squeaky clean and the employees were awesome, so friendly and helpful! The food just was not very good for me, and it made me really sad. I got their mushroom swiss burger on texas toast with tots and ordered the brisket spud to go (for my husband's dinner later).The hamburger patty was completely tasteless, it had no discernable seasoning whatsoever. The cheese was melty and gooey, but all of the toppings kept falling off, making it very hard to eat. The tots were also unseasoned and over fried, so they were just kind of greasy and overly crunchy (and I LOVE crunchy things). My husband ate the spud when he got home from work, we heated it up in the oven wrapped in foil for about 15 minutes. The first thing we noticed was how greasy the meat was, there was a pool of grease under the potato. The second thing we noticed was the texture of the meat. We were expecting chopped brisket texture, but this meat was more stringy and mushy, like pulled pork. My husband said it tasted ok, and the potato itself was good, but not great. He would not get it again.Overall, I would be hesitant to try them again just because the meal really wasn't cheap, and we sadly just did not enjoy it.

We stopped at this location after floating the river. It was a delicious decision!The baked potatoes were amazing. I got to taste a few flavors off my friends' potato dishes. The chicken Parm was good, the traditional tasted like your best baked potatoes from home should taste. I totally enjoyed a Texas Bacon Cheeseburger, which was pretty good and well deserving of its award recognition. Let me tell you, these guys know they've cornered the market on their baked potatoes - and they're pretty good at it. Spuds Ranch offers a kids menu... the usual, mac and cheese; grilled cheese, and chicken tenders. My kids topped off their Lili Russet meals with some grilled cheese sandwiches and fries. They went back for their assortment of Blue Bell Ice Cream for dessert.You put in your order, and you get your food quickly and with friendly service. Plenty of parking in the back.If you crave a baked potato, this is your place in New Braunfels.

Solid menu and stick to your ribs food. The meal was enjoyable and staff was friendly. Only drawback was the flies. Maybe it was because we sat close to the soda fountain, but there isn't much of a choice in the space offered. I know that bugs fly in and it can be expected, but to be hassled by flies during the entire meal was not appetizing.

If you are in New Breunfels and want to eat something different and even take care of your body shape , this can be a very good option. They have a very good variety on the menu. In my case this time I enjoyed a potato with turkey and beacon. The truth is it was good, just keep in mind that they have a wide variety of extras but unfortunately even for a little extra butter you have to pay. But don't get me wrong, regardless you are going to love the potatoes or any other selection on the menu. You can order online to pick up your food or you can order by the drive-thru and don't forget that you can do, like me, order and eat in the interior room, there is also an exterior balcony, but inside the atmosphere is very cozy and the tremendously good service. Enjoy!!! And remember to build your own memories!!!

I order takeout from Spud Ranch and was not disappointed! The jalapeño poppers were delicious though I prefer mine with cream cheese instead of cheddar. I ordered the Mac and Cheese spud and it was so big! It tasted delicious too!

Decided to try them out for an early dinner around 4:00pm. Walked in and was greeted immediately! We explained to the girl at the register that we had never been there before and she told us about some items on the menu that were popular. We all ordered and then had a seat in the dining area. We only had to wait about 8-10 mins before they brought out our meals and everything was piping hot! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. I ordered the steak sandwich and hand cut French fries, at the suggestion of the girl taking our order, and I am really glad that I did! It was awesome and the fries were hot and fresh when they came out. All in all... We will definitely be going back!
