Flavorful broth, fresh veggies, and an amazing tower of meats - can't ask for more at hot pot! I've been several times and the quality and consistency is always great and worth the price! Food: So many meats to choose from, and we usually order 4 at a time. The lamb is my favorite since it's so tender and flavorful. Also appreciate they have beef tongue and tripe as well! I recommend getting some of the leaner cuts to start, and then as the meal progresses to order the more marbled meats like the toro. The bar area has so many more hotpot options including seafood and veggies - these are some of the freshest veggies at an AYCE I've seen. The sauce bar is also fully loaded with anything you can imagine. Don't forget to check out the seasonal items on the menu too - the tofu skins and quail eggs are some of my favorites. Drinks: pretty good selection of cocktails and non alcoholic beverages! The lychee cocktail was delicious, and if you come on your birthday you get a free birthday drink.Service: Always amazing! Our servers are pretty quick with orders and often walk by with the broths for refills. Our table is always cleared of dirty plates, and food comes out fast. Vibe: always pretty busy when we come, so reservation is helpful! Very relaxed and casual vibe, plenty of table space so it never feels cramped. Parking is tough in this plaza, so you need to be patient

Our first time going to Soupleaf was a hit, so we will definitely be back. We went as a friend group, so had a group of 4 people there. We were sat at a table quickly, and since it was our first time, we were given a detailed explanation of how everything works. Fortunately, since we were a group, we ordered a bunch of the meats and got a huge variety, my personal favorite was the (toro beef and the brisket). After, we hit the buffet to get all our add ons, and boy there was a TON. Ranging from seafood, to veggies, to sauces, you name it, they had it to add it. It was a great experience and we will definitely be back!

Finally tried this place and glad I did! Plenty of soup options, you can mix them too. Meat options were fairly typical, and honestly I don't tend to go for the fancy meats anyway. The buffet section had everything you could want and more. Finally, the price was reasonable for all of this.Overall highly recommend no matter where you live in Austin, worth the drive!

Soupleaf is one of my favorite hot pot places. During a 14 day travel I made station in four different hot pot places and this is the winner. From friendly, fast service to a great surrounding with nice design this place has it all. For $35 (at the time of the review February 2025) you get an all you can eat hot pot and they mean it - they even have special items of the week that are on a little extra menu. Their broths are full of taste. I couldn't decide which broth I choose so my waiter said she will bring me a sample of each and I am so happy she did cause of not I would have taken the second best lol. In fact this restaurant is so good I had to come back the very next day. Whenever I am back in Austin the soup leave will be on my list. And it should be on yours as well.

Soup Leaf Hot Pot - A Flavorful Feast! For $35, Soup Leaf Hot Pot offers an incredible all-you-can-eat experience that's absolutely worth it! The concept is simple but brilliant--they bring two meats per person at a time, ensuring everything is fresh and perfectly cooked. The lamb was my standout favorite, full of rich, savory flavor, but all the meats were fantastic. They offer 4-5 broths to choose from, and I highly recommend the tonkatsu and Mala broths. The tonkatsu is creamy and comforting, while the Mala brings just the right amount of spice for those who like a kick! The veggie and topping station is another highlight--you can customize your hot pot with endless options, from fresh greens to mushrooms and noodles. To top it all off, they even offer dessert! Don't miss out on the soft serve--it's the perfect sweet finish (ube flavor is my favorite!)Service here is stellar. The staff was attentive and friendly, making sure our table had everything we wanted!

Soupleaf sings to my soul on a cold winter's day!Tried this place on a whim after seeing an Instagram contest. I think I have a new favorite hotpot buffet! First, its AYCE - choose from a handful of different stock bases (i plan to try them all eventually). You can't go wrong with tonkotsu. Then order meats, and look for any specials of the moment on the paper menu too. Then go grab veggies or seafood at the buffet. The buffet is beautifully laid out, and appears to be kept fresh. They have two areas for dipping sauces to avoid congestion too. One of my favorite things was unlimited shrimp and scallops. Our server Calaya or "C" was incredible. She was very conscientious of our food allergy concern and made us feel confident about eating at soupleaf.

Standard all you can eat hot pot restaurant. Like other hot pot restaurants, they serve the usual assortment of seafood, meat, vegetable, and starches. Dessert is also provided, including fruits, small cakes, and ice cream. Their serving sizes are on the smaller end but that's to be expected of an all you can eat restaurant. While it is nothing extraordinary, you do get a bang out of your buck for the amount of food you get.

love this place!! -- came here for an after church meal + it was exactly what I needed before my afternoon nap, haha! The meats were so good, and plentiful! I enjoyed the Mala broth and my friend had the lemongrass based broth -- both spicy and delicious. I am a person that likes a lot of options + I love how they have a variety of veggie (and seafood!!!!) options at raw bar. definitely come here, especially while it's cold! Our server was also amazing. Very tentative and kept our table clean!

We had a delicious dinner here on Saturday night with Melinda C. I originally made reservations for 7:30 PM, but we were trying not to rush at West China Tea House before we came here, so I called and the staff graciously moved us to 8:00 PM. Once we were seated, our server described how everything worked since we were all newbies to Soupleaf. We chose six meats for the table (lamb, sirloin, ribeye, brisket, tongue, and pork shoulder), and from the seasonal menu, tofu skin, enoki mushrooms, and quail eggs. Behind us were enormous buffets of seafood, veggies, sauces, and one I completely missed: noodles and rice cakes.I did not realize the sauce bars were different so I made sauces from the one right behind us, which was stocked with so many items! For my broth I chose shiitake, Melinda C. chose miso dashi, and Eric R. ordered tonkotsu. My favorite meats were the lamb and the sirloin, which blew my mind with how tender it was after cooking. The server offered to bring more, but the three of us were stuffed with the six meat plates plus everything from the buffet. I also got a bowl of rice from the buffet which I enjoyed with some of my cooked food. The tofu skin and tofu absorbed my broth so well. I also had a mango sticky rice mocktail which was delicious. Eric R. got a jasmine tea lager which he also liked (and I took a sip)! This is a fun place, and the servers came around and refilled our broths as they got low. It is a spacious restaurant, and the staff is so friendly. I really enjoyed our experience. I highly recommend the sirloin for one of your meat choices!
