Friendly server and plenty of shaded space with comfortable tables and chairs. Hummus was bland and needed more lemon, salt and olive oil. Falafels are ok but not great.

Delicious food and amazing service. We got the lamb gyro over rice and the falafel and hummus plate and both were delicious. I can't wait to go back.

What a sweetheart of an owner. It was end of his day and he was running out of ingredients, but instead of turning me away, he put together an entire vegetarian meal. The falafels are excellent and the dolmas (grape leaves) are also so good! Can't wait to return and try the full rice plate next time - but get here early!

Talk about fresh and authentic. I've had my fare share of falafels in Austin, but none ever seemed like anything special. Most have that dry taste and lack any flavor. I came here on a Friday for lunch and was instantly greeted by the the two employees, one I believe being the owner. They were friendly and full of information about the menu items. They gave me a falafel to try while I waited and I was obsessed. I ordered a side of falafels and a beef shawarma. I can say without a doubt in my mind, it was one of the best mediterranean dishes I've had in a long time. To top it off, just talk to the owner and you will walk away with a smile.

My husband and I walked over from the east side in 90 degree weather just to try this truck, as we were craving Mediterranean food (and we were also enticed by the Yelp check in offer of 3 free falafels). We got a chicken wrap, beef wrap, and our falafels. The falafels were definitely the highlight - not dry at all, and not green on the inside. Apparently, if you cut open the falafel and it's green inside, that means it's not freshly made and comes in bulk... The owner was so friendly - he gave us rice to try in the beginning, which was delicious, and then he gave us double the amount of falafels than in the check in offer, and when we finished, he even gave us some hummus to try when we got back home!!! The hummus tasted very fresh when we tried it at home. Definitely recommend coming here!! Excellent service!!! I'll be back to try their rice plates!Oh, FYI - the hours on Yelp are wrong - normally they are closed on Mondays - (however, we got lucky since we went on Monday and they were open since a conference was going on across the street at the convention center!)

This food truck is located in the Saint Elmo complex and a bit hard to find. I have only tried the Lamb wrap, it was very good I will be back to try more.

Simply put, Sosa's IS THE BEST Mediterranean food I've had since visiting Afghanistan. The flavors brought back so much nostalgia! Haider, the owner is the BEST. He made our food to order, and it was hot and nothing short of mouthwatering. The chicken shawarma was seasoned perfectly immense flavors of cumin and mustard (maybe lol) that'll make your heart skip a beat. I can't wait to come back to Austin and try more items on the menu.
