Somang Cafe

This place is excellent! We stopped here on a whim after eating at the food court inside the market, and I'm so glad we did! The owner running the cafe is exceptionally kind. She told us how she made so much from scratch, and I could tell when we had it. We ordered two different kinds of iced lattes and the plain croffle - we don't like too many sweet toppings. The coffee was good, but what stood out was the freshly made croffle! WOW! We only ordered two of these, but we instantly regretted not getting more after eating them. We'll have to return soon to support the business and get more of these croffle. Everyone should check this small business out and support her. The cafe is relatively new.

This cafe serves incredible croffles and coffee that are definitely worth trying. I tried the blueberry, strawberry, Oreo, and matcha croffles, and the strawberry one was by far my favorite. The croffle itself has the perfect amount of sweetness and a unique texture. It's definitely on the heavier side. Half a croffle is plenty for one person. The cafe has a cute seating area with a few small tables, decorated with plenty of plants, where you can enjoy your treats. It's located right outside the food court at Hana World, so if you have a larger party, you can also sit inside the cafeteria area and even grab a meal

I can't stop thinking about the croffle - truly something special! So light and perfect crunch - something so different and I could easily eat a full order my next time.My fiancée got the cookies and cream one for us to share after having lunch at ramen del barrio. Wow - I will need to get one every time I am in this shopping center from now on. Service was very quick and great! Cute little spot right inside the entrance of the Hana market!

Cute little spot located in the entrance/exit of Hana World Market. Came here after doing a bit of grocery shopping with a friend and stopped by for a bite. We ordered a Blueberry and a Cheese Croffle. A nice mix of sweet and savory. We both agreed the Blueberry Croffle was the better of the two, but I actually liked both. Definitely worth stopping by while out on a grocery run!

The staff was so kind and recommended me popular flavors but it was so hard not ordering all of the flavors. I ended up getting the mocha (?) and blueberry flavors and my parents and I loved how soft the cream was

I tried the mochi latte and it was really good. The barista recommended it for me. Great choice. Even comes with a little mochi to dip in the latte. They have a nice little seated area that has heaters if it's cold. Definitely appreciated that.

I fear I will be thinking of their croffles every day now. I ordered a strawberry croffle, and it was DELICIOUS. Perfect texture, sweetness, and crispy bite. A very nice man runs this little cafe inside the market, and he was so kind and sweet! The croffle wasn't badly priced at all, and he makes every one from scratch. The whipped cream was delicious, and the strawberries were even sweeter! I'm really glad I stopped by because I've heard great things about this little shop.

They ran out of matcha croffle but he was nice enough to combine the almond and matcha crime together and those are my all time favorite flavors so I'm happy!Good music, great service and really good croffle. I've never had it before but it's amazing. The matcha crème is not overly sweet and perfectly complements the soft, thick and crunchy croffle. Also love love the Korean R&B jam. Well done for a small shop!

I love this place!Open, nice music, btw, awesome customer service, and peaceful.I ordered an Americano and the plain waffle to try with my friend. What a tasty waffle, I'm not sure what they put in the batter, but it was really yummy. Also, coffee is very easy to mess up, and this one was to the point. I know good coffee, it runs in my veins kind-of-thing.Kuddos to this coffee shop inside a market place. I'll come back here just to sit and listen to the nice music. What a nice concept.

This bakery/cafe kiosk has become one of my favorite coffee spots in Austin. They have a great selection of unique latte option, all of which are amazing. The lady who operates the shop is really nice and obviously committed to the quality of her work. I recommend trying out the Somang latte or the new Black Sesame latte.
