Damn man. Austin is food truck overload but between the amazing burgers, fire a** chicken and unbelievable pimento bites, this place kills it. If you're even remotely on the Austin social media scene you've heard about this so give it a look. Also for those of you living southeast Austin b*tching about the lack of options, drinks backyard plus Smokin' Brew-B-Q is a can't miss combo....also...that banana pudding? Get. In. My. Mouf.

I was looking to try some BBQ in Austin & looked through the yelp reviews as there was many places with 4 star reviews & up, so I thought I was in for a treat... so I thought.- Brisket, Pulled Pork & Sausage with Mac & Cheese/Baked Beans 1/5:The brisket was so dry that I could not finish eating it. It was also lukewarm & it did not have much flavor to my disappointment. The pulled pork had much of a similar story & it probably was by far the worst pulled pork I've had. The sausage was okay not much flavor to it but it was the best out of the 3 sadly. The mac & cheese was really upsetting it had a chalky powdery taste to it that I could consume it anymore. The baked beans was to me star of this plate, the beans were seasoned nicely & it had rich flavor. Lasty the BBQ sauce was really bad I could believe it. Overall I was purely disappointed since this BBQ place had really high reviews for something that does not meet those expectations. - Fried Pickles 4/5:The fried pickles were surprisingly good after so much disappointment earlier. Very crispy the batter & the pickles inside were very delicious as I love me a good pickle.

Smokin' Brew-B-Q is an easy 5 stars. I worked with Nick to cater a work event and he did such an amazing job. He was super responsive, helpful and even accommodated a last minute date change without jeopardizing the integrity of his food. You can tell he's passionate about what he does because it shows in the food.We had trays upon trays of tender, smoked brisket, pulled pork and beer can chicken. The mac & cheese, beans and coleslaw were wonderful sides and we topped it off with some decadent banana pudding. Everyone loved the food and everything was cooked perfectly. Smokin' Brew is very reasonable priced and the BBQ is top notch. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them or use them again in the future.

Amazing bbq yet very disappointed to stop by on my birthday with an online order stating would be ready at 8:30 pm for over $200 to state that wasn't ready and no urgency at all while stating that wasn't ready and would be at least another ten to fifteen minutes. The food is amazing and love it, this why we drive all the way here yet service was less than would expect today and hopefully will adjust service times or will adjust customer service upon pick up.

Travel from California and stop by this nice place ! The food is good. We jumped in to eat and forget to take pictures. We ordered several 3 meat meals and they are all good.

Been wanting to check this place out since it's in our neck of the woods. Glad we did. We weren't too hungry so decided to get a small, shareable snack and ordered the nachos.Shareable they were alright. Massive amounts of nachos loaded with brisket, pork, beans and queso. This monstrosity was a beauty. What a masterpiece. Loved all the ingredients and how well they all went together. This thing was so big, we ended uo taking half home.Also ordered a side of sausage that was so good and juicy.The area where they're park also serves cold, frosty beverages and there's plenty of seating either by their truck or in the area.

Recently moved and was searching for a local bbq spot. The service was rude. I was immediately greeted with a "What?". It might be me but people mostly great you much nicer than a "what". I ordered the brewskis classic burger. The burger was Packed with mayo. I just couldn't continue eating it because the first bite was just awful. My partner order the sliced brisket sandwich and wasn't impressed. Don't get me wrong, we weren't expecting gourmet, but we've definitely had better. I'd rather drive a little further out for better food. The customer service just wasn't there. There is bar next door, so it probably tastes better after a few drinks. I don't drink so I wouldn't know. I don't plan on going again. But hope you have a better experience.

Make sure to get the smokin Mac burger. It's the bomb! Pulled pork sandwich. Also delicious. Went here with my son on his work trip if you like barbecue this place is for you.

Some of the best beef brisket that I've had in Texas to date. Mac n cheese, brisket bbq beans, and Cole slaw were all on point. Jalapeño smoked sausage was good, had a real snap to the casing. The banana pudding should be "world famous" if it's not already. Definitely worth trying, the outdoor patio area at Drinks Backyard is an awesome place to sit and eat your bbq.

We got a 3-meat plate (pulled pork, ¼ beer-can chicken & moist sliced brisket) with 2 sides (Mac & cheese & tots) plus an extra side of potato salad. Chicken was moist & had good flavor in the meat. Rub was a bit strong on smaller pieces like the wing. Pulled pork was tasty, although I'd have thought it would have more of a smokey taste. Brisket was good, especially where the rub was. The beer can bbq sauce was very good, just wish more was included. Mac & cheese was different...probably because of the mix of cheeses. Tots were...well, tots. The potato salad was good. Tasted somewhat like store bought. I will say it took some time to figure out how to place the online order for pickup. Apparently, there are 2 locations with different names that offer the same menu. Once we placed the order, we received text updates & knew when the order was ready for pickup. We also greatly appreciate the use of some compostable containers and bags.
