Smokey Mo's BBQ - Georgetown

Very good brisket, smoky and fresh. The sausage was delicious, very flavorful. The cream corn was very tasty, glad I ordered it. Side salad had lots of browning in spots.Overall really good bbq.

I will start by saying, there was nothing wrong with the food and the service. What I like most about this BBQ restaurant is the convenient hours of operation. I came today and got lunch for $11.99 and I enjoyed everything. I will have to come back to try their breakfast tacos. That is not offered at any other BBQ restaurant other than Rudy's & Bill Miller's, so that sets them apart.Cons: I found their bathroom to be unsanitary (sink broken, paper towel dispenser too stingy and I had to use single damp used paper towel to turn the knob and pull open the heavy door to get out). There should be a better way for customers to wash hands because eating BBQ is messy. Also while dining in I was constantly blasted from ads from the PA system which was weird and annoying. I can handle fast paced music but not ads while eating!

When you're in the mood for barbecue and you need it fast you need it now Smokey Mo's is the place to go great food and great atmosphere love the sides coleslaws pretty good!

Those who look at my reviews know I love BBQ this place was good grub. The meat had a smoke ring and the flavor was good, It wasn't dry. The only disappointment was the Mac n cheese was mushy, the noodles needed to be more firm and the BBQ sauce was bland. The people were great and the place was clean.

Smokey Mo's wasn't bad, but it wasn't great. Especially coming from someone from Texas...As I entered the door, there was no one in the restaurant but two cashiers and one guy eating a plate of ribs. The whole place was completely empty.One of the people I came with tried ordering the ribs and they said they were out (after the guy kept checking with the kitchen to see what they had)....Never seen a barbecue restaurant run out of food but there's a first time for everything I guess. ‍I ordered the sausage plate and it was extremely tough but it had a nice flavor. I noticed something was spicy, and it was the sauce that I put on the sausage (bottle found on the table). However, the bottle said original and there was another SPICY bottle- but I tried it as well and it tasted the same as the original. I also ordered mac and cheese as well as the bacon cheddar potatoes as sides. If you like potatoes with the peelings still on, you've come to the right place. I don't like the peelings and also the bacon was way too crunchy- almost burnt. I wasn't fond of this side. The mac and cheese was actually quite good! Very cheesy and had a good flavor. The 2 other people I came with ordered the baked potato with brisket. They both said it was horrible and the barbecue tasted like it was found at Sam's Wholesale or in the frozen section. Potato was described as "mid".The entire time we were eating it was quiet, but there was some nice country music so that's fun!Anyways, thanks, Smokey Mo's. You're alright.

Tried so hard to love it but unfortunately couldn't, not entirely anyway. Like almost all BBQ restaurants the sides aren't good. Ordered the Big Mo combo w/ brisket & sausage and the sandwich was fire but the mac & cheese fell short.

Worst experience!!!! I had a pick up order and asked to see the receipt. They had it wrong. I ordered a small sandwich and they rang up FOUR small chopped sandwiches. I told them I only wanted one and the worker was mad and told me I said four on the phone??? He did not speak very good English. He took the sandwiches out and proceeded to shove mine back in the bag (smashed) and told me to go stand in line to get the refund. He said he wasn't going to do it. I had to stand in a line with 7 people ahead of me and when it was my turn the young girl said she wasn't going to refund what I ordered. I told her it was now cold and he had smashed it back into the bag. No one should have to argue to get a refund. I couldn't believe he was mean and smashed the sandwich! Terrible terrible customer service

Management is absolutely horrible, seems like they don't care about their employees enough which brings the vibes completely down. The short brunette manager has no regard for anything other than the restaurants performance, and coming from someone who works service industry this is exactly the kind of place you would avoid if looking for job. Food is good though.

Great BBQ each time. Always consistent and delicious. Great bbq hands down. Don't hesitate.
