Side Eye Pie

When I say this pie is good, I mean you have to have it good. One of the best pies I've had in the austin area. The sauce is perfectly tangy and has a pleasing kick to it that is complemented by the crispiness of the crust. The service was standard taco truck ordering and they text you when it's ready. The ambiance is Texas beer garden outdoor tree-shaded bliss. Oh and there's a well-shaded playground for the kids.

Side Eye Pie was a pleasant surprise. The staff provided great service and kept us updated when there was a delay on the wing orders during my first visit to this food truck.Their menu is accessible via a QR code at the truck, and they use the Toast platform, so if you have a Toast account, you can log in easily.I tried the 12-inch "Pepperoni Homie" pie, while my friend ordered the buffalo BBQ wings.The wings were tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. The pizza was ideal for a lunchtime treat, with a thin, flavorful crust topped with melty cheese and delicious mini pepperonis.Sitting outside was very relaxing, though the flies were a bit of a nuisance, even on a cool day in Texas.For drinks, you'll need to order inside the brewery. They offer water if you're looking for a non-alcoholic option.

Go to spot while at Meanwhile. Love the fresh ingredients, they're quick (even when they're slammed). But this last visit we tried their duck fat wings.HOLY *DUCK* they were so good. Would not expect it from a pizza food truck but any time something is fried in duck fat over typical seed oils, we jump on it. Def recommend and I hope it stays on the menu (I'd never noticed it on previous visits).

This place was a disappointment. Overall the pizza didn't taste fresh as the crust was chewy and tough. The flavors were just okay and there was no parking available in the lot. There are no quick pickup/to-go spots unfortunately so we had to park on the street and walk through the parking lot with the 5 pizza boxes we ordered online to go. Prices are high for this level of quality. The chicken on the BBQ pizza tasted like it was ready-made frozen chicken. The salami on the meat sweats had a funny taste that I didn't care for. My favorite was the ricotta and the pretty fly for a white pie. I will not be back. I do not recommend this place.

Pizza is good but it's kind of expensive and they don't give you a lot of pizza for the price they charge. The pizza would be so much better if they didn't put so much sauce on it but the toppings seemed fresh just barely tasted them with all that sauce. Pizza only needs one light layer of sauce. Then pack on cheese and the delicious toppings. Really good thin crust with the woodfire oven. I'm glad I tried it but I probably wouldn't get it again. $1 extra for sauce (which I thought was tacky considering the price of the pizza) and $12 garlic sticks!! Overpriced

When I first moved to Austin, I called the East side home. & I always came here! While we all have our favorite pizza spots, I'll let you in on a secret- Side Eye Pie is on ToGoodToGo. If you want an assortment of slices for seriously dirt cheap, find them on the app. You're welcome.

Located at Meanwhile Brewing, Side Eye Pie rivals against some quality local Austin faire. That said, it was a good day to crave wings and pizza, because the food was slappin'. While they're a pizza spot, I personally find their wings to be the superior choice. Despite my request for "crispy" wings not being a viable option, the heat (spice), flavor, tenderness, and juiciness of the wings were IT. Also, their made-in-house ranch dip...put it in a bottle and send me on my way. I'm not normally that big on ranch, so that's saying something.Pizza has decent structure, but in a city with many amazing pizza spots, this is not a personal top option. Crust is a little more on the soft/bready side, and not saucy. However, it did pair nicely with my cold to warm beer (it's hot out here folks - I can't drink fast enough.)We also ordered the full caesar salad and split it amongst three of us. Eat ya veggies. Needless to say, we were all feeling content. Get the wings!

Wow how FRESH!! Amazing pizza And Salad!! We went to meanwhile this past weekend and Side eye was slammin! The food came out quick,hot and full of flavor! All the ingredients were top notch can't wait to go again!

Side Eye is my favorite pizza in Austin. It's not even close, they blow all other places out of the water. Their kale caesar is amazing, the TIRAMISU!! I can't say enough about the tiramisu. It's my favorite dessert and Side Eye's is the best.I've ordered from Side Eye's so much I can't even count. I've picked up for a birthday party, we'll eat at Meanwhile on the weekends and recently we had a family celebration where Chef Tony made us a half sheet of tiramisu.Highly recommend, everyone that works there is the best!
