Shawrma Halal

I just stopped here out on a whim. I went through the menu, quite pricey, but he suggested the falafel wrap. There are no prices listed on the truck - that's a red flag. I asked and it's 12 bucks. Got my falafel and after a few bites - it was not that impressive. Has 5 falafels, and for $12 that is a bit steep if you ask me. But if it was really great falafel then I'd be fine with it. It wasn't. Seasoning a bit bland, I didn't get extra sauce I asked for, and the sauce itself did not taste quality good. It's not worth the money I paid for. It wasn't bad, it was just okay and did not come close to expectations, so 2-stars (could of been better) suits them well. I'm always eager to try new cuisine, their menu looks good, but I detest those places who don't post prices. That just means they can change it anytime they want to and there's no way of tracking it. Because the falafel was subpar and too expensive, I won't be trying anything else on the menu as it usually results in the same or less. So I've crossed these guys off my list. Put people over profits. Give them a great product at a fair price. Then I'll be your fan for life.

This is the best Halal in the ENTIRE WORLD!!!! I've turned almost all of my friends onto it. I could eat here every night. It's super saucy and spiced just right (on the heavier side -- LET'S GO). The only downside is it makes all other Halal places taste super lame. Basically, they feed my heart and my soul. I wonder if they will cater my wedding??? Just need to find a boyfriend first... brb

We ordered chicken plate and chicken salad, with fries. The portions were large, one dish can feed two people. Well seasoned, delicious, most of the dish was chicken, not rice or lettuce. Great fries too, on softer side but still great. Very friendly service too.

So it's closing in on Midnight and you're looking for somewhere to eat some drunk food. Give this place a shot, you won't be disappointed! The portions are generous and the flavors are plentiful. The line was long so I figured any place with a long line had to be probably worth it. I wasn't wrong, I don't know if it was the best halal food truck but it was pretty damn good!! I'd go back

Fantastic gyro meat over rice with salad! Will be coming back easily some of the best halal in the city !! you won't be disappointed not to mention superb detailed service as well made my plate exactly how I wanted it ! Must try if you are a shawarma fan !!

Wow! Just wow! I am blown away. I ordered the chicken/shawarma plate and I can't believe how tasty it was. I got in late to Austin on a flight and was HUNGRY! I didn't want pizza or wings... wanted something rather healthy and this joint raised the bar for late night food. My taste buds are still dancing. They gifted me dolmas and falafels because they were out of hummus, they did me a favor! Huge portions.... but it is Texas after all. I'll have left overs for days. I can't believe there's no reviews, it's a gem and I will come back whenever I'm in Austin.Update- Back in Austin! Had to order from here again, they are consistent. This is the chicken shawarma plate with a side of hummas. Delicious!

quick & nice service. falafel was over cooked, the exterior was very hard i could barely break them open to eat them. i asked for no hot sauce and there was still a portion of my rice covered in some which i was unable to eat. too spicy. i still have acid reflux the following morning.

Stopped by on a Saturday light for some late night food. Went with a gyro and the loaded French fries for the group. The food came out in record time which was great because we were all starving after a night out. This is your standard, middle of the road shawarma food truck. There was no line here so we went with this option and didn't have to wait long to return here.

I ate this food so fast, I didn't have enough time to take a pic ok! Food was busssin! Me & the boo shared a mix plate bc A) it's that big & B) save that money C) more bang for your buck. You get gyro, chicken, rice, tomatoes, sauce - the works and y'all, it's just so damn good. The employees were soooooo sweet which made it even more of a treat especially given the late hours we came! If you're in the area and looking for DELICIOUSNESS & an awesome team to support, look no further. I can't wait to come back!

This place is incredible. I don't know what spices they are mixing in, but the flavor is absolute umami. Dance party on the tongue. Be sure to check out.
