Good food, good prices, fast service, glad I gave them a try. I have lived 30 minutes away from decent Chinese food for 10 years. So glad to have moved to a place with good Chinese restaurants! I will be back.

Good standard Americanized Chinese. Spicy shrimp in garlic sauce with lo mien and hit and sour soup were both great-- AFTER adding their homemade chili oil. Great personable service in a laid back atmosphere.

This week I stopped by Shanghai Express for lunch. It is consistently good, and one of my favorite Chinese places in Georgetown. I got the Peking Seafood Combination lunch special. It was not my favorite. It has a brown sauce that I am not partial to. Next time I will stick with my favorite Rainbow Shrimp dish. That being said;, my fried rice, egg roll, and egg drop soup was good. The service was fabulous, as always. Yesterday, I witnessed one of her owners run out to the parking lot to take a purse to a customer who left it behind. They are always extremely courteous and friendly, and that is what continues to bring me back again and again.

The service people were very nice... the only reason I gave 2 starsWe ordered the lunch dealBeef and broccoli Lunch; the wonton soup, meh lacking flavor, the egg roll and rice were ok, the beef and broccoli was so over salted the copart passed after a few bites trying to pawn of to me to see if I would agree.. I did..Orange chicken Lunch; Not on lunch menu but you can ask for it... Huge mistake.. I started with the hot and sour soup which was ok, and I was fine with the eggroll ( no dipping sauce, I think you have to ask for it ) and fried rice, kinda plain like school food, ok you can eat it. Now the orange chicken showed up, I should have taken a photo, it looked more like chicken nuggets in motor oil... The sauce should have been orange, or even orangish, but no this was nas car looking motor oil, not very orange to the taste and was spicy, I had half the plate and said you may pay for this later and stopped eating it.So the lesson here is next time, go into Pizza Hut and get lunch and not roll the dice.... We won't be coming back here, I rather get Panda express over this...

This place was such a disappointment!!! I ordered Chicken Egg Foo Young and got vegetable with nothing but alot of mushrooms which I hate. The gravy had the meat in it. I called and was told that's how it is made and I was denied a remake or refund! Never is all my years experienced Egg Foo Young Like this. Food lacked flavor was not freshly made at all.

I wouldn't say excellent as some others have said; however, but very good applies. Server was attentive, not exceptional but very good. Food was good. The orange beef was nice. Still room to improve, but I would come here again and try more items, or even the same.

I still stand by the original review. And your restaurant would be a minimum of $12/person, so a party of 8 would be nearly $200. Show me anywhere on your menu a lunch meal under $12 with drinks. I ordered two small orders of crab rangoons and a combination lo mein to go recently, which was $30. I'm confused as to how that is 'much cheaper' than the other options in the area.
