This is a review for the French inspired Supper Friends Dinner held at Sawyer & Co last October 18! Having enjoyed the Swoop House Supper Club dinners, we came to the Supper Club at Sawyer & Co. with high expectations but should have prepared ourselves for a different experience. The space and layout of Sawyer & Co. don't offer the same intimate and immersive atmosphere as the Swoop House, which impacted the overall evening. The host, Stephen, and his team were as delightful as ever, and their warmth and effort were evident throughout the night. The highlight of the meal was the passed appetizers served outside, where the open space allowed for a relaxed and enjoyable vibe. However, the dining setup left much to be desired. It seemed like a regular table for five was converted into a table for seven, leaving us feeling cramped and uncomfortable. The food was a mixed bag--the fresh Gulf fish meunière was just okay, but the apple galette was a standout, absolutely delicious and the perfect sweet ending. There were cute little French vocabulary instructions too that went with the French theme. Cute little touches. While we appreciate the effort and hospitality, the experience felt underwhelming compared to the charm and cohesion of the Swoop House. We'd recommend this for those new to the Supper Club experience but suggest managing expectations if you're accustomed to the Swoop House's unique ambiance and setup.

1145 on Sunday is the absolute worst time to go to Sawyer & Co for brunch. So we went. At least my friend had made a reservation, but we still had to wait a little while among the hungry hordes. Our server was genial but frazzled. He seemed puzzled when my friend asked her eggs be "soft-scrambled." Or, more likely, unsure of how to enter that on his order-taking device. The eggs arrived well done and she rolled her eyes, pushing them aside. She just shrugs it off because she's a better person than I am, and never ever sends food back. She said everything else was good.I ordered the simplest 2-egg breakfast, and it was delicious. The over-easy eggs golden-yoked and runny, the biscuit a fluffy delight, the Brabant potatoes heavenly creamy, and the bacon perfect. The former site of Arkies has been redone in cool funky retro. Even the Washroom is charming. One of these days. I gotta get back for a nice peaceful lunch.

We made reservations for a Saturday brunch. Super cute retro diner vibes with a nice outdoor area.Started off with some deviled eggs, which were pretty good.If you're looking for a healthier option, I really enjoyed the roasted root vegetables with eggs. The biscuit is yummy too .For something more indulgent, the fried chicken with pancakes was delicious ! Not a fan of their coffee - very bitter and impossible to drink without lots of cream and sugar . But their espresso martinis looked delicious ( didn't try one though )Overall, a good experience and worth checking out :)

ok I've gone a few times now and feel confident in this review. The service is always impeccable, and the food is wonderful. I would honestly give this a 3.5/5 -- the drinks are "meh" and a little over priced, and some of the food portions are small for the price. Otherwise, the place is always clean, the people are always kind and the food is always cooked well.

Delicious southern breakfast!! Loved the potato cake avocado toast (latkes with avocado & toppings), pancakes were really good too. Pesto grilled cheese was great. Absolute favorite thing here was the cheesy grits. Biscuit was also delicious. Our server was also really nice!!

I love trying out new places and can't believe I haven't been here before. But glad we got to grab a quick brunch lunch. It's a cute little place. Kinda dark where we sat but it was comfty in the booth. The waitress was so nice and helpful. Not sure what I wanted but I was craving fries and saw Friday special was tempura chicken and that sounded good. Bad for you but good lol it's Friday! My friend heard their shrimp and grits was good so she got that. We had our lunch meeting and out came our food really quick and fresh. My goodness the fries. I loved my fries. One of the best I've had. Crispy on the outside and soft inside and very hot. Almost burned my mouth but they were seasoned so well and so good. I was full lol The tempura chicken sad to say was very greasy. Wanted to like it. Couple bites was good but no way can you eat all 4/5 fingers. Too oily. But I had to take it home to share because it wasn't bad just so rich and greasy. The fries already filled me up so I was content. And very full lol Her grits and shrimp she said was good. Ok. But $19 felt like a lot and mine was $15 only because it was a weekly special. So prices are kinda high but probably not for these days. Mine was good being it was a special. All in all enjoyed our lunch. Loved the atmosphere too. Easy parking in downtown easy Austin as well. Did not my fries and the dipping sauces my dishes came with. Would love to see how their other dishes are. Let me see your reviews as well :)

Had the most delicious brunch here!!!We ordered the fried chicken biscuit with potatoes and a side of gravy, the chilaquiles, and the lost bread. The chicken biscuit has delicious honey butter all over it, then dipped in gravy it was soooo good. We were in sweet and salty heaven! The biscuit is soft and flaky. The potatoes dipped in the gravy was awesome too. The lost bread was basically French toast and was so airy, soft and sweet. They're a good dish to share if you want to just try them between friends. The chilaquiles were alright. Probably wouldn't order them again, but the eggs on them were great. They had some fun looking coffee drinks but didn't try any. There's lots of seating inside and outside. The patio is covered and super cute. The service was great and attentive. Parking in the front side and back. If you had a long night before, and need a heavy diner type meal, this is the place!

A great breakfast/brunch spot! Arrived around opening and got seated right away. Their menu has changed a little now with the addition of the Lil Easy to their restaurant group, so take a look! Service was nice but a bit slow at times once they got a little busy. Food was great as usual!

During our visit the service here was extremely slow. When we checked in we were told a 20-30 minute wait. Okay that's fine, however we waited about an hour and still no text that the table was ready. At that point I checked in at the front to see how much longer the wait would be. To which I was told "oh yeah we can seat you now". So would we not have been seated if I didn't check in? Service was horrible and we waited about two hours for food. We were told the person delivering the food had delivered to the wrong table. Not sure if this is normal for this establishment but this was not a great experience at all. Fortunately, we were not charged for our meals due to this long wait time. Things could've been handled better. The best thing about this place was the ambiance.
