Satellite ATX Restaurant & Bar

This is a casual diner type place that you order at the counter and they bring your order out to your table. It's a serve yourself type setup for fountain drinks and an ample amount of lemons for your water or food. Breakfast here is amazing but I also love this salmon dish. I've ordered it every time I've been here for a lunch or dinner. The overall vibe is very retro type diner and the staff is friendly. Just if you order anything extra that's different, there can be some confusion. My friend who usually comes with me here, can't have carbs, so she orders extra vegetables and extra lemon butter. Literally every time they miss the extra butter sauce and never ask which dish goes to whom. So there's a disconnect from the kitchen staff and whomever takes your order. The food is great, parking is ample but if you go at a busy time, you may have to sharp around for a space as there are other businesses in the same shopping centre that serve food. The prices are very reasonable and they're consistent on what they serve.

The food and entertainment were stellar but I had to flag down a server to get silverware while my food sat getting cold. The entertainment was outside with heaters so I was hot on one side and freezing on the other. I didn't leave but will think twice before going back again.

Fall 2024 lunch food features was still available where the trees outside have finally turned fall colors. I ordered the Maple-Braised Pork Carnitas Tacos and even though considered a starter it was just enough. It was two regular sized tacos loaded with delicious pork with spiced apple slaw on top of it. It had great flavor and fulfilling. The staff was finely as usual and great adult place to hang out at.

Great spot for fresh, affordable lunch. Popped in here after fasting for bloodwork and I was famished and craving french fries (which are not part of my normal diet). Decided to have the chicken salad sammie on GF bread with side salad amd side of fries. this pleasantly surprised with a generous portion of all. The chicken salad was perfectly dressed with not too much mayo. The salad was fresh with many selections of dressing. The fries were perfectly crisp and not too salty. Hit the spot for sure. And friendly service. Can't ask for more.

We had one of the best experiences at Satellite of late. Red fish with crab meat and the beef tenderloin were both cooked to perfection. Service was excellent and the ambiance was great as always.

We'd been meaning to try Satellite since we drive past it all the time in the Circle C shopping center so we stopped in during happy hour. They had discounted bites and drinks. We split the lettuce wraps to start and ordered the redfish tacos. The fish tacos stole the show. They were fantastic! The flavors were bold and the fish was cooked just right. The lettuce wraps unfortunately fell short. The chicken was a bit bland and the lettuce itself was tiny. I couldn't pile any of the toppings onto it or make any kind of wrap. The service was attentive and our waitress was kind. The energy/vibe overall wasn't there. I'm thinking it might have been due to the time of day so maybe try it for dinner or on the weekend if you want a livelier atmosphere.

Brunch for the win! We've been for dinner and lunch, but tried brunch recently and loved it! Excellent service too! Make a reservation in advance.

We were searching for a place that could accommodate our 2 1/2yr old twin grandchildren while we all ate. This place was great! We ate out on the patio where there was space to run around and things to keep them busy. The waitstaff was kind, patient and accommodating. Kids loved the macaroni and cheese!

This was a 5 star place when I worked there years ago. No idea what happened. The kid at the front didn't seem to know entirely the process of Togo orders. Also why is a Togo soda the size of a kid's meal drink? Why does one employee say bacon jam doesn't come with a veggie burger but another employee says it does? 3 stars for the bacon jam, since it still at least tastes the same.
