I ordered an Uber eats. The food came super fast and the food is really hot and fresh.On top of that, this is the best pizza I've ever had in Austin hands-down .Can't wait to check it out irl

Pizza is decently good texture and dough wise but really lacks any special flavors. I ordered two large cheese pizzas and the dough and the sauce just didn't have any flavor. Salt seemed to be missing. I don't need a lot of salt but at least a little.There is better pizza here in Austin. This is not a place I'll be returning to.

What a cool location. It's warm and welcoming. How do they fit this wood fire over into the pod? There's a lot of outdoor seating. And some indoor as well. Each pizza is made with high quality ingredients. I got a half and half pizza of pepperoni on one side. And a honey spicy sausage on the other. It was delicious! This place is definitely a vibe. Brings that Austin pod culture to life. And shows what you can produce in a quant space.

My buddy tried to convince me that Sammataro is great and worth the price. I tried it once and hard disagreed. We tried it again last night, ordering 2 pies for pickup. The pickup time changed drastically so instead of waiting 15 minutes we waited 45 minutes. And it was raining out, so that wasn't great. But whatever, picked up the pies and gave it a fair shot. I thought it was... fine. Not bad pizza, but nothing special to me. I think there's so many other good pizza places in town, I'd rather go somewhere else that makes me happier. But if Sammataro is your favorite, I ain't judging... enjoy!

Awful customer service. I had trouble with a pizza that was smashed while delivering through Uber Eats (the service they use to deliver) . In order for Uber Eats to handle the issue, they requested the order number from Sammataro. I called the phone number on their website to get my order number with no success. After numerous attempts a guy finally answered with just "hello?" as if it was a cell number not a business. (unprofessional) - I responded politely explaining that I just needed my order number to resolve my issue with Uber Eats and he literally hung up on me.. and then ignored my phone calls for the rest of the night.. I was never able to get a resolution. I was a regular but with their horrible service I won't be back. Super disappointing.

I drove across town to pick up pizza from here. And it was definitely worth the drive. I ordered the pizza with pepperoni and sausage and it was delicious. Loved the crust. The people at the trailer were super friendly.

Pizza was delicious! Came out in under 10 min. Crispy New York style thin crust, the sauce is what really makes this pie next level. Would definitely recommend and will for sure be back!

This place deserves all the recognition for its New York style pizza. It really lives up to the hype. We went on a hot day during happy hour and there weren't many people there, so our pizza didn't take long at all. The vodka pie was a perfect twist on a classic pizza- it had a little more spice and kick to it. This is a food truck, so the seating is almost completely outdoors. They have a small area inside but the AC isn't great, so prepare to be a little warm if you're going in the summer months.

I was referred by the owner of Icryo and damn he was spot on. Not only was the za amazing ...Ok, this sounds weird, when he told me that they have their own ranch that is to die for and fresh made I kinda rolled my eyes and said who's getting excited about ranch (thinking of Kraft or Hidden Valley canola oil shit) Well, I'm here to tell you, apparently there is such a thing as FRESH RANCH and I would have never known it had I not tasted it at Sammataro

Best pizza in town and authentic. I'm from Philly and we have great pizza there. Pizza to me is a meal that comes from hustle. After school grabbing a slice or two with friends growing up it used to be the most affordable and convenient thing to eat besides breakfast sandwiches and plates from the chinos around the block.I've also lived in NJ and CT being close to NY and growing up in Philly I've had authentic pizza and SAMMATARO knows the recipe!Pizza is simple ingredients but you could also go wrong by not knowing the sauce, right cheese and thin crust. This is a long review but I want to get down to the atmosphere. Indoor and outdoor seating. Wine right next door and they also sell by the bottle. Music is always great whether it's inside, from the food truck or the trailer park itself. Service is top notch. Great hospitality. Wood fire pizza.
