The molcajete is enormous and can feed two! Fajita meats with cheese and a garlic butter sauce on the bottom. It was the star of the show!! The sopa de pescado y camarone (mix) had a bit more heat in the broth than I'm used to. The flavor was fantastic, but the extra kick from the spice was too spicy for me. We also had the barbacoa tacos. These were maybe the best babracoa tacos I've ever had, not greasy but juicy and great flavors! I'd definitely come back

Wow. The dacor is simply:CAPTIVATING. Menu includes all manner of seafood. Sadly, I had a cheeseburger, fries & coffee. The price was VERY REASONABLE; and the burger VERY Good (cf. to Wataburger. They serve beer by the pint (draugh)(sp?).The service was excellent. Popped in on a Tuesday (earlier this week). Only four other guests dining, construction workers on their lunch break. They ordered all manner of sea-food; of course, it smelled delicious.Other amenities include about FIVE (5) huge TVs playing 'telenovelas,' or Spanish soap operas, sports, local news and Sabor VeraCruz's menu.Oh!, almost forgot to mention, the coffee was EXCELLENT!!, and Sabor VerCruz 'hosts' kereoke on Thursdays & Fridays.Sabor VeraCruz is an excellent restaurant; and, as I previously mentioned, the decor/atmosphere/ambianse is very cool, feels like you're somewhere on a quaint coastal town, (e.g. Corpus Christy, Texas). And, as one of the other four diners happened to mention, the food server is VERY EASY ON The EYES.NO doubt, I shall return to Sabor VeraCruz and try some of their seafood I highly recommend these little in treasure if a SEA FOOD RESTAURANT. Delightful seafood! Their Camarones a la Plancha is a very similar shrimp dish to something I had when I visited Spain and have been looking for it ever since. I also recommend their cerviche! Very fresh and hits spot on a hot summer Texas day.

With all the good reviews, I think I made a bad choice of what to order. The concept of this dish sounds very good but the execution was a miss. I ordered the bacon wrapped tilapia stuffed with shrimp and octopus comes with a side salad and seasoned rice. First bite was good, piping h2 dish during lunch but it took 20 minutes for our food to come out. Half our lunch hour was already gone.. other dish was the fried tilapias plate she said it was good.

If you want bubble guts, this is the place for you. I've been on the toilet for 2 days after eating here. I ordered the mango ceviche and instantly regretted it. None of the seafood tasted fresh. I normally don't write reviews, especially negative reviews, but felt this was only fair.
