super busy on a saturday morning which goes to show it's great quality! i got the hojicha hot chocolate and the chicken and gravy toast. the chicken and gravy toast was amazing. the gravy was so flavorful. the bread was so soft and tasty! the chicken was fried but did not feel too heavy or greasy (but i did share this with someone else). i loved the flavors of the hojicha hot chocolate. it was warm, comforting, not too sweet, and a little savory? but the texture was a little grainy and off putting. the place is super cute and service was quick and nice.

It's a combination of coffee shop + light mela place. The potato wedges are really good there. I am not a big fan of the lunch option as they rather in between full meals and an appetizer. You will find people eating, working on their computers and on certain days, lounging during their art show walk.

I've been to their old Airport location and loved it back then, so I was very excited to try this newer location. I will say, the parking lot and plaza seem a little sketchy at night. But I feel like this kind of food is better in the day time anyways, especially since Sa-ten also doubles as kind of a coffee shop. The chicken kara-age is so good! The meat is crispy and juicy and I love how saucy it was too. The spicy samurai sauce is creamy but gives it a little kick too. The anchovy garlic toast just tasted like cheesy garlic toast, which obviously is delicious, but I was kind of hoping for more of an anchovy taste to it. The kale salad is really nice, especially because I feel like everything else is so heavy that's it's nice to have some leafy vegetables. Its really lemony and light. The macaroni Fuji salad took me a few mouthfuls to get used to. I was expecting more of a traditional Japanese mac salad that's got a bit of a vinegary taste to cut through the heaviness of everything. But it was more like macaroni and mayo. It was still good, but yeah not what I expected. One of my friends got the Katsu don. And while each aspect of the bowl was good, it was really dry because there wasn't any type of sauce. It was fried meat, rice, kind of a scrambled egg, and veggies.

We came here while visiting Austin and were hoping for lighter eats with more of a healthy vibe. What we got was below average service with kind of forgettable food and drinks. I am not sure if it was just an off day for them but we ordered and the food took a while even though there was nobody in line ahead of us. The cashier and staff were not friendly and we were disappointed with everything about this stop of our trip. Maybe just come for the coffee, but even that was pretty unexciting.

I wanted to go here because I've heard great things about this place! I went here for dinner and right off the bat, I would say this is probably a brunch place more than a dinner place. Plenty of parking though which is nice!I ordered the Katsu-Don and it was decent. I really liked the Katsu but wished it came with sauce. The pickled radish was really sour so I didn't really like it. The egg was good, but was interesting to have it cooked with the Katsu. My friend ordered the chicken karaage with toast, Mac salad, and kale salad (I think). I tried one of the macaronis and it was okay. I'm not the biggest fan of cold pasta dishes so that's more of a personal preference than a knock on the dish. Overall, I would probably come again for brunch so I could their tea too. The atmosphere is nice and quiet.

Amazing!! Loved the atmosphere, it was very relaxing, food was delicious and well presented. The service was excellent as well, staff is very friendly.Lots of variety in this establishment, you can get a nice coffee, pastry, and even a dinner if you are starving. Perfect place to take someone for small talk, or a quick bite. Will definitely be coming back!

I dropped by here on a Friday lunchtime for a quick pick-me-up. The restaurant was busy with people eating here as well as working/studying. We ordered a black sesame latte with oat milk and a caramel miso latte. 4/5 Black Sesame Latte- It had a good nuttiness to it but was not too sweet. Overall a solid drink still.4.5/5 Caramel Miso Latte- tasted like ice cream! It was really good for someone who likes sweet and creamy drinks. I personally like less sweet drinks a little more though, but it was still delicious.Overall with the plethora of seating and also cute decorations, I would hope to come back to try more drinks and maybe get some remote work done!

I'm Vietnamese and the Vietnamese coffee just wasn't authentic to me. I do like the vibes of this place, it's a great place to work from home. It was quiet when I was there around 8ish on a weekday. The toast would be the highlight of this place as no other Austin cafe offers these. People raved about this place to me but maybe I didn't get the right things. I'll definitely have to try again!

I love this cafe on the east side! Cozy ambient atmosphere with lots of seating. There's a printer and free wifi. What stands out to me are the asian inspired lattes! Love the matcha & hojicha. During my 2nd visit, I got a hojicha hot chocolate, which also had some matcha. It's part of their seasonal drinks. I will def be coming back!

Coffee was delicious, and a very warm cozy atmosphere. Was a bit more pricey than I would usually spend on a coffee & lunch, but was worth to treat myself
