Rusty Birds

A small "pop up" inside the Valero gas station, unassuming but everything I saw behind the counter was fresh and looked delicious!

Ollie Birds quickly jumped to the top of my new places to try after reading about them in a local magazine. They are located inside a Valero gas station and only do takeout, and luckily close to my home. Other options for rotisserie chicken is the local grocery stores but prefer ones from restaurants like this one. The owner was very nice and and I ordered the 1/4 Bird Dark (Leg + Thigh).Once I got home I observed the chicken and looked and smelled delicious. It had some spices on it and had great flavor. The chicken was soft and juicy and quickly became my favorite. I will be back to get a whole chicken next time.

Chicken Caesar wrap was bomb! Fresh, healthy, and quick! Would recommend to anyone in south Austin for a quick lunch.

Found this place on Yelp when searching for a place with salad. Anytime I have a craving for something specific, I peruse the pictures other people have posted. lol This method has worked wonders for me.This little place is located inside a gas station FYI. When I walked up to the counter, the gentleman working was a bit distracted by his phone but once he acknowledged me, he was awesome! He told me all about their loyalty program, discounts if you do a Yelp review, and answered my questions about the food.I chose the Cali salad and decided to go ahead and try the broccoli pasta as well because someone's picture online looked yummy! The salad is huge! Soooo much stuff in there! I didn't have enough room to mix in the ranch but that's ok.... Just means the remaining salad won't get soggy since I couldn't even eat half lol! The broccoli pasta was a tad salty, but overall delicious!! I will definitely get this any time I go there now lol.

I've only had the cesar wrap, but it was AMAZING! So much food, and one wrap can easily feed two people, maybe more! My teenager's wrap didn't survive the trip home!A MUST TRY!!!!The service was excellent and friendly, great voice by the way! He sounds like a Hollywood star. The first time I tasted this wrap, a friend shared a bit of hers with me and I had to know where it had come from. My friend's husband had picked it up "somewhere off Brodie at a gas station" and I thought he was kidding. I finally made it out there today and bought the whole family dinner.It is in a gas station, but don't let that sway you, it's quality food and lots of it for the price!!

YUM! I visited Ollie Birds for the first time today and it is delicious! We got the half bird (all white meat) and will definitely be back to try the sides, wraps, and salads. The all white half bird is very generous. The breasts were huge, and one of them was plenty for me and my toddler and 1 year old. The service is excellent and super friendly. Don't miss out on this place!!

Ollie Birds is always fresh and delicious! Their pita croutons are amazing. I would buy them on their own if I could. They're so tasty. It's usually fast. You have to order either in person or from Door Dash because they don't have the capability on their website (not yet??) and don't answer the phone. But I forgive them because it's just one guy and he's putting out premium delicious healthy foods.Update: online order is fast and easy from their website!

Love this place! Just what we needed in the neighborhood, good fresh food that's a great price and super delicious ! The chicken is very moist, properly seasoned and the salad portions are large! If you've had California Chicken Cafe from Cali, you will love this place! Go support the business! Top it off, the owner operators provide great service!

Went there a little over a month ago to get the chicken salad, and boy, it was enough to eat for 2 days. What an amazing salad, and I will be going back tomorrow for another one. The young lady behind the counter was most helpful, friendly and professional. Great job!
