Rio Grande Tex-Mex Restaurant

It's ok Tex-Mex food. Nothing special but not bad. Service can be hit or miss, especially at the bar areas. Wish their outdoor area allowed dogs, but it's service animals only.

Came in with some coworker for work lunch Place was fairly empty for lunch time. Got seated and asked the server for an ice tea sweet. Looked at the menu wanted enchiladas but settled for beef taco plate with rice and beans. Food came out pretty clean. Looked good tasted all right nothing special. The chips were free and the salsa was good! So for lunch it's 2 beef or chicken tacos your choice Tice and beans for about 10 or 11 bucks plus tip. Forgot to take a picture but the food was presented pretty nice. We've eaten here twice now! Some friends of ours have been coming here for years, and have loved it! Their queso is my favorite. Thin yet so cheesy! Great portion sides for the price. Quick, attentive service. Great for big groups as well! They accommodate quickly, but highly recommend calling ahead if so.

We eat here every Friday and have for years. But this Friday was horrible. One of our drinks needed more syrup. Our waitress was so busy so my sweet boyfriend went to the bar and was told to wait for the waitress. After 15 minutes I went to the bar and asked the bar tender if he could just add a bit of syrup. I got an arrogant reply that I had to ask my waitress. In all my years I have never met anyone so arrogant. I asked him again to just put more syrup. He refused so I went back to the table/ the manager came over and said she would talk to him but don't think she did. Do not go here for customer service. What kind of person can't just add syrup to a drink. Arrogant and ignorant!!!!

Been going to Rio Grande for yearrrrrrrrrrrrs. It's one of the places all of our family members will eat. Tex Mex Mexican, love their queso but not so much the chips, salsa is good though! Mexican egg rolls are greasy AF but also yes we order them because YUM! Okay don't laugh, their kids cheeseburger, best cheeseburger ever. Like how? At a Mexican restaurant? Yes, I promise it's incredible!!! I love their prickly pear margarita, hubby likes their Mexican martinis. I also like they have an online waitlist. This isn't the best place but it's a really good standard for us. We eat here at least once a month. The decor at the new location is totally my vibe too, love it. 4 stars is great! Nothing I can point out, it's just not a 5 star you know? But we love it. Ooooooh and they have a new limo golf cart to take you to your car in the lot. Sweet!

Typical tex-mex menu. Large outdoor patio. No air conditioning inside!! Food was ok and priced well for lunch. Did I say very warm in the restaurant?.

We came in little after the lunch hours(after 3pm). It wasn't crowded at all and so got a very quick service. We had Chille Releno and Grande Enchilada deluxe with Chicken along with Spicy Pepino. We liked the Spicy Pepino drink but didn't like the foods that much. The food didn't seem to have much flavor. The chicken inside Enchiladas were dry which didn't taste that good. Price of the food and drink seemed high. Didn't like the fact that drink prices weren't included in the menu. Service and atmosphere seemed good. Outdoor seating and ample parking was available.

i loved their Birria tacos and burritos. i am not sure if the birria is an all time thing but it should be. we did have a small issue with the Mexican egg rolls that we got. we noticed that they were apart of the happy hour but when it came time to pay they said we had to order a drink to make it 1$ off? very odd because i've never heard of this before. other than that overall my favorite place to eat in Hutto.

Been a regular costumer for over four years and I absolutely enjoy every time I come! The food is always phenomenal, the music is A+++, and the service is exceptional. They recognize us every time we come by and are always very welcoming. We've encouraged our family and friends to join us for dinner here! They've also loved the food, especially the amazing margaritas! Best margaritas in Texas!

We come here about every other week. I got tortilla soup that comes with rice and I got a crunchy ground beef taco. Everything was fresh and delicious! Hubby got a combo plate of enchilada and crunchy taco. It was all good!!!Service was spot on. Highly recommend again.
