Amazing coffee shop located in beautiful downtown Austin!Revolucion is very spacious and has a relaxing aura. Plenty of seats to sit down, drink coffee, and enjoy time with yourself/friends/ a date. Coffee here is high amazing, friendly service, and overall chill vibes.A must try!

I keep wanting to like this place because of their proximity to the convention center... but they just keep dissapointing. They do have a special... 2 tacos + 1 coffee for $10... hence my 3 stars...Today I ordered a vegan lentil walnut... it was rough... the taco is basically a global of sad mush in a tortilla..Previously I tried their Jackfruit tacos... those were so gross!!!

Overall: 2.6/5 [take out]We were touring Hanover Branson Street, and this place was nearby so I decided to put in an online order for two specialty drinks. The shop itself has a cozy vibe--there's a tiny market and newspapers on the tables, which make it feel like a nice spot to hang out. It also wasn't sweet so I added in honey which helped a bit.When we arrived, two employees were chatting at the register and only started preparing our order after I mentioned it. The barista didn't seem enthusiastic, and unfortunately, that lack of care was reflected in the quality of the drinks.The store itself is nice and looks like a great place to hang out. They had newspaper on the table for you to read and a tiny market.ACA Blue ($6) + Homemade Almond Milk ($1) + Honey Lavendar ($0.50): This drink is made with milk, matcha, and blue majik. The matcha flavor was very light, and the blue majik gave it a grainy texture that was unpleasant and even irritated my throat, making me cough a few times. I couldn't taste the honey lavender at all, and the drink wasn't sweet enough. Adding extra honey helped a little, but it still tasted average at best. Very surprised that this drink was highly recommended.Iced Chagacinno ($6.50) + Coconut Milk ($0.75) + Cinnamon (free): This drink includes a double shot of espresso, milk, chaga powder, and simple syrup. Unfortunately, the combination didn't work for me. The coconut milk left small white clumps, and the ice melted too quickly, leaving a watery layer on top. As time passed, the drink became more diluted and less enjoyable.

I like the breakfast tacos and the latte was definitely decent. I love the design as it captures the modern Mexican design I believe the designer was going for.2/3 of the folks up front were super friendly but the third one looked at me like I planned to poison her houseplants. Maybe that's just her face. I, too, suffer from "I'm probably angry about something face."They forgot to make my sisters drink, pero, they were checking their phones so...I also get it.

I kind of regret waiting until the last day of our trip to grab coffee from Revolucion Coffee across from our hotel. I really wanted a good espresso drink. I went with their Revolucion latte which came with milk, honey, and lavender syrup. It was made with a little milk froth art which was a nice touch, served in a ceramic mug. It was delightful. The resulting latte was smooth with a slight sweetness that I thoroughly enjoyed. The cafe itself is spacious and bright with lots of seating for those who want to work outside of the home. There was some music playing to break up the monotony of the day but it was not super loud. The baristas were nice and knowledgeable. We were only there to enjoy some coffee and went on our way shortly afterward.

Revolucion is a popular hangout after work and during conferences. I'll usually head over in the afternoon for coffee and to work a little. The seating isn't the most comfortable, but the ambiance is feels good, it's often a little more energetic than most coffee shops.Unfortunately the coffee isn't great. I ordered a drip coffee last time around and it was pretty sour. Maybe it's my bad ordering drip near the end of the day, but had I been behind the counter I probably wouldn't have served it & would have offered an Americano instead.The food actually is pretty good though, which brings my rating up. My girlfriend ordered a couple breakfast tacos. The eggs were fluffy, the green tortilla was tender, the potato soft and the bacon crispy. (4.5 stars)I had been walking around downtown in the cold and rain and needed a hot drink to forge ahead. Revolucion seemed a good bet, and it delivered. It's a bright and bustling shop with a decent amount of space. I opted for the Revolucion latte (with lavender and honey). I could definitely taste the syrups used, but they weren't overwhelming. Revolucion made for an ideal coffee stop though had I found it earlier in the day, I would have probably been all over the breakfast tacos.

This place was so awesome! Cute little healthy coffee shop right across the street from our hotel. I got the breakfast burrito which was delicious! My dad got a granola butter toast which was really tasty. The lattes and coffee were also super yummy. Really liked the vibe of this place inside too.
