This ramen is *legit* gooood! The tonkotsu broth was rich, flavorful, and piping hot--just the way it should be. And the chashu? Seriously tender, like melt-in-your-mouth perfection. You can tell they slow-cook it for hours. Oh, and let's not forget the egg--absolute perfection with that creamy yolk. The spicy miso ramen was a hit with the rest of my group. One of them literally drank the entire bowl of broth--no shame, it was that good! We also tried the chicken karaage, and wow--it was crispy, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. Served with Japanese mayo and a spicy sauce (I think?), it was a match made in heaven. The space is great, with both indoor and outdoor seating, and they handled our group of 7 without a hitch. The staff was super friendly, and the food came out fast. If you're craving ramen that hits all the right notes, this place is a must-try.

Ramen is a highly consumed food in our household so we were excited to visit Ramen Tatsuya, which is a favorite among us. When arriving to a large line, Ramen Tatsuya kept us moving quickly and the staff was friendly. The food arrived just as efficiently as the staff worked and we were greeted by a warm, rich OG and an aromatic and savory Curry Nu Skool. The OG, as per usual, was delicious and warms you to the core. The broth is just the right amount of salty and thick. The noodles are firm enough to feel plentiful but don't feel soggy. The Curry Nu Skool was good as well, my only qualm being it didn't have a strong curry flavor that I was hoping for but the rest of the dish was flavorful and balanced. With a busy yet relaxed atmosphere, Ramen Tatsuya is a strong ramen choice for those looking for a relaxing date night while leaving as full as you hoped when you enter.

This place was the bomb! I love coming here. Such a fun and delicious experience!Came on a Wednesday night around 9pm. This place was still buzzing with energy. Took me a moment but found it to be intriguing as ordering happens at the counter before you grab a seat. The stools for the counter were super high. If you don't mind the climb or the leg swing over (like you're getting on a bike), it was fun sitting up so high.Ramen was delicious. Noodles were thinner than I'm used to but perfectly made. Great texture! I got extra pork and the corn butter bomb. The pork seemed a bit smoky and a bit on the fatty side but it was delish! Got the Tonkotsu Sho-Yu soup base which was a bit creamy. So good! My food came out super fast. I'm craving ramen all over again!

I have been wanting to try the ramen here since they opened up in Round Rock. The line was always out the door so never went. Now I know why, it's delicious! The Mi So Hot was out of this world delicious. A friend ordered the Brussel Sprouts for our group. Holy Cow they are the best ever! I can't wait to return and enjoy Mi So Hot with a spicy bomb. Best ramen I have ever had!

The broth is so flavorful, and it was delicious. I love ramen, and they do it right here! The service was fast, and the restaurant is simple. Just wooden bench tables to seat as many as they can in the small space. I'd go back!

We went to Tatsu-Ya on our first day trip to Austin and were a little underwhelmed with the flavor. We had heard lots of amazing reviews about this restaurant but the ramen itself was average. The broth and noodles were good but not worth the hype. The line was super long and there isn't a lot of space to sit inside. My bowl was broken which is okay but I was a little scared I the piece might have been in my ramen

Had a craving for ramen and found this place near the Domain. The Mi-So Hot ramen was delicious. It was spicy but with such great flavor in the broth, and the egg was perfect (I rarely drink all the broth, but I literally tipped the bowl in my mouth) 9.2/10. The OG ramen was also very good and the cha siu was very good 8.8/10. Karage was fine, but nothing special 7.5/10. Prices were great, but I'm comparing to California prices.

My husband and I love this place! It's really cozy and we personally love that there are just a few options. I feel like when there are too many, I tend to get overwhelmed. All the options they have satisfy everybody's taste.I, for example, tend to be very minimal and classic, so I always order "THE OG", take away the scallions, and add extra noodles and it always fills me up so much! (Probably could do without the extra noodles but they're soooo good!)My husband normally gets the "Mi-So-Hot" and loves it so much! He also added the "Fire in a bowl" bomb last time we went and he absolutely loved how spicy and tasty it was.Unfortunately I can't give you my advice on it cause I don't do spicy lol I'm trying to build my tolerance thoI personally love how creamy the tonkotsu broth is and everything is just impeccable. The chashu pork is so tender that you can break it apart with your chopsticks, and the ajitama egg is cooked to perfection, with a really nice creamy yolk! There are more options on the menu, so pick the one you prefer. The staff also answer any questions you might have!I absolutely recommend this place!

Love this place for being a hip spot for good ramen! The inside is clean, the service is quick, and the broths are very flavorful.Usually there is a decent amount of seating (both inside and outside), but my last visit was on a Sunday around lunchtime with a large group; because of this we did end up waiting around 20 minutes before we were able to get a table. Despite our group's size, the staff were extremely accommodating and patient with our orders. Plus, our food came out within minutes of being seated!I ordered the O.G. Tonkotsu with extra noodles, and I loved the flavors of the chashu and egg! The broth was very hearty and the noodles were cooked perfectly. I also tried it with the spicy bomb, which takes it to a whole new level. I do wish there were larger portions for the price, and even after ordering extra noodles (which was smaller than I expected) I was still left over with extra broth.Overall, this is a solid spot that I will keep returning to!

I'm going to start by saying that I lived for two years in Hokkaido, the ramen capital of Japan, and I have high standards. I've been hearing about Tatsuya for a while and have been afraid to come here, for fear I'd be disappointed after eating truly great ramen. And, the truth is, I kind of was, sad to say. The ambience can best be described as "assembly line chic," what with the constant line outside and the uncomfortable box you get to sit on (don't stay too long!), and the pack em in like sardines approach. The food was good but not great. I had the miso ramen and the best thing I can say about it was that the eggs were awesome - done to just the right level and tasty. There wasn't much meat in there and the noodles were meh. The broth was good, I guess, but kinda greasy, too. There were not many drink choices and the green tea I ordered was expensive and came in this TINY cup. Hmmmn. Service was friendly and good, but RUSHED. My opinion? Decent but worth the hype? Not a chance.
