Quince Lakehouse

My friend from San Antonio visited me, and we came to Quince. OMG, we had a blast. Our food and drinks were delicious, and the music was terrific.Wisely the DJ plays the most beautiful music, my friends and I are coming back.

Valentines Dinner 2025 at Quince Lakehouse was The Best!Baddi, our waiter, was very helpful with our dining choices, he was very attentive and his personality made the evening so special! My wife, Tess, and I had the following Menu Items. Quince has a beautiful view of the water. In terms of ambiance, I think they're still trying to figure out who they want to be. When I went it had a shabby-chic boathouse summer home feel, but with a DJ spinning club music. The food was also a little all-over, but in a good way. I think they're going for a Mexican-Asian fusion. They had sushi with elote and Mexican spices, and this fantastic seared salmon rice layered roll? I can't remember the name, but it was so good! I want to go back to try more of the menu.They have valet and plenty of parking across the street if needed. It would be a great place for a work event or a large family gathering.

Love this spot right on the water for drinks or dinner. They have sushi options and more here.

Came to Quince for dinner on a Friday night . It was beautiful with all the lights on the lake, and the vibes inside are cool. I imagine it's an awesome spot during warmer weather .For starters, We had the poke tower, torched and pressed salmon, and tuna nigiri . With the considerable amount of sushi on the menu, my expectations were higher .too much rice - and the rice does not taste fresh . The fish is OK quality .On the other hand, the pecan crusted steak salad was DELICIOUS, and I really enjoyed their limoncello spritz.My fiance also really liked the beef yakimeshi bowl.Despite the lackluster sushi, Worth checking out for other dishesOVERALL:Sushi (3/5)Salad + Yakimeshi Bowl + drinks (5/5)Service (4.5/5)Ambiance (5/5)

Visited this dining establishment during Happy Hour, before partaking in Mozart's Lake Austin Festival of Lights Boat Cruise. We were fortunate enough to have a table with a pleasant view of the lake. The ambiance of the restaurant was like some of the establishments I dined at in Rhode Island. That East Coast Flair. Our server, Gabriele, I hope I spelled it right, was great. However, I think more help on the floor when two large parties showed up would have been warranted as she had to excuse herself from our table while we were about to place one of our orders. It was a tad inconvenient, however, I do not place any fault on Gabriele. She was doing her best. Now for the food. Our first item was the East Coast Oysters. I am usually not a fan of oysters; however, these were tasty. We did not partake in the tomato and citrus sangrita with the lemon added the right flavor to our oysters. Our next item was the Truffle Hamachi Nigiris with spicy truffle sauce. This delectable dish appealed to my palate which is getting used to eating sushi. The truffle sauce was spot on. I am not a connoisseur of Sushi; this was ranked I would say in the top 5 of what I have tried to date. The Surf N Turf roll was an interesting twist with the beef and shrimp combination and the spicy mayo. Never had a roll like this before and it did not disappoint. The rainbow roll was also a delicious choice. I favored the Salmon and Yellowtail which I have tried at another establishment and Quince did an excellent job of it with their Rainbow roll. The Poke Tower topped out the choices we made. I had never had Poke and was not sure what I was in for. I was surprised and enjoyed it. However, the rice I felt could have been a tad "fluffier" as I have had in rolls before. Did not take away from the taste of the Poke tower. Would try it again. One suggestion I would like to make. For all the rolls we had as well as the Hamachi Nigris, the sauces tasted the same. Maybe try pairing up a different sauce with each. Again, just a suggestion. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I would recommend possibly staffing accordingly, to limit the delays in placing an order. Otherwise, I give Quince 4 stars.

Quince Lakehouse was such a treat! The waterfront views during sunset created the perfect setting for a relaxing evening. The coastal decor truly tied everything together, making it feel like a charming little getaway by the water.The Rock Shrimp Tempura was perfectly crispy and paired so well with my Black Forest cocktail (Mezcal, Pineapple, Cucumber, Rosemary-Charcoal)--a delightful mix of flavors.The house DJ kept the vibe alive with great music, and the staff was so lovely and attentive, ensuring we had an incredible experience. Can't wait to return for another unforgettable evening!

Ozzy was super accommodating! I had the limoncello spritz, sooo good! Great time and good drinks!

Kiera was the best server ever! Amazing service, wonderful atmosphere and delicious food!

Ambiance is 5 star, the food is a 2 star. The food is overpriced and lazily prepared. I had the chilaquiles and you could tell the chips had been sitting there for hours as they were so soggy. The beans were hardened as well again an indication of NOT FRESHLY PREPARED food. Will come for only overpriced drinks next time.
