President's House Coffee

(3.5 stars)President's House is the Omni's coffee shop, and with that comes an implicit tradeoff: overpriced mediocrity in exchange for convenience. Measured against that standard, President's House acquitted itself well. I stopped here once for lunch and once for breakfast and found a decent selection both times. They have plenty of coffee drinks, of course, but also pastries, sandwiches, bowls, and more. My first visit was a late lunch, and I opted for an Italian sandwich (soppressata, mortadella, prosciutto, provolone). "Adequate" would be the best way to describe it, but it was at least filling and, at $12, not outrageously priced. Breakfast the next day was better. The jalapeno cheddar sausage kolaches offered flaky dough and a nice bit of spice. The latte I had with it was smooth and provided a needed pre-conference pick-me-up.President's House also benefits from a decent amount of seating and friendly staff. For a quick breakfast before you leave to face the world, President's House was better than I expected.

The prices were amazing! And my peppermint mocha latte was amazing!! This coffee shop is located inside the Omni Hotel so if you're not staying here, you may not know. But the ambience is pretty nice. Open walls and ceiling but still a closed in feeling so it's cozy. The employee was having a rough day but was kind to us, so we gave him a better tip than I usually do at coffee shops. Overall, a nice coffee shop with food and drink options!

I've been here 5+ times. 2 stars because the coffee is hot. Ceasar salad was terrible. Lettuce was wilting, croutons we're soggy. Chicken tasted like it was a Sysco special. Brisket grilled cheese was trash. Brisket was dry and super super fatty. Entire pieces were just fat. Do not eat here.

A quiet, quaint little corner to get coffee and work maybe. Few times i was there it was not a very social place, despite being In a hotel lobby. Service staff were friendly. I'd go back on work hours for sure.

Pork tacos are goodSmash burger is goodFries are great. I get the feeling this place will be yummy until they start cutting corners. It's got great Capital Factory energy spill over. Delicious

Originally, I visited this location because it's one block from my office, and anything would be better than eviscerating my gut with another ashy Keurig pod. Turns out, the staff are friendly, the colosal atrium offers tons of peaceful natural light, and walking through the hustle and bustle of the Omni gives me a boost of energy. Some of the offerings are overpriced, but you should expect nothing else from a hotel lobby cafe. The brisket sandwich is a bit sinewy, but special props to the banana bread for being reliable. If you enjoy people watching while pretending to work, this is the place.
