Possum Pizza

I have tried many vegan pizzas. I am almost universally disappointed. Possum Pizza is the exception. I absolutely love this place. I recently ran an ultra-marathon around lady-bird lake downtown, and I survived it only by knowing I could crush an entire bac'n'mac pizza when I finished. An absolute must-try, even if you think you don't like vegan pizza.

Possum Pizza is one of our favorite pizza joints in Austin.Currently they only have a food trailer but don't let that stray you away from ordering from them.Ever since they first opened and were doing popups around this city they have been awesome!If I ever mention pizza at all the first thing my wife says is "Possum Pizza".We've ordered from them many times and everything is solid.The pizza's below we ordered were the Ultra Meat and the Bac'n Mac.Even if you are a fan of dairy you will enjoy their pies.It's 100% non real meat, non dairy and they offer gluten free options too.Do yourself a favor and order something from them today.The prices are super reasonable compared to other places in town as well.

Some of my favorite vegan pizza. Their mozzarella sticks and "possum popplers" are a must. Amazing staff and amazing food every time.

I love this place. This is my second time coming by. It's in a nice area with other vegan food trucks. There are many times where I'm tempted to order from one for lunch and the other for dinner. This time I texted in my order. Which is pretty cool. You just let them know what you want and when you want it by. The pizzas take about 20 minutes for them to make and you can come, pick up, and go. It's super nice since it's way too hot to sit out and wait in the area. The pizza is really good. The first time I had the Mac and cheese pizza which was delicious. This time I had cheese bread and the meat um pizza. So far so good. I've liked everything I've ordered from here thus far. And plan on coming back whenever I need my pizza fix in Austin.

The pizza here wasn't mind-blowing (I got a 12" Sup? and picked off the olives), but I really, really enjoyed it after slathering it in the vegan ranch I'd gotten on the side. Although not bad by any means, I was a bit taken aback by just how...frail it was. It was a pretty small pizza (which!!! isn't necessarily a negative, I'm simply more partial to thick crust). I'd gotten the Possum Poppers as well and loved the texture and consistency!! They were a bit over-sauced in my opinion, but the green onion and ranch mellowed them out a bit. Take-away: the vegan ranch is amazing!!! Also my fav all-vegan pizza in town. But mostly because of the ranch. Ordering was easy enough (just send a little text), and my pizza was ready pretty quick. I don't see myself returning here just because it's across town and I can mostly make a quality pizza at my own home, but I was pretty pleased with what I got and recommend to any vegan that lives a little closer. I wasn't upset about the price either, which is usually a huge factor when it comes to vegan food.

One of several vegan food trucks in the same area, Possum pizza makes some pretty delicious pizzas with veggies and plant based meat alternatives (seitan pepperoni, bac'n, sausage, and beyond burger). I tried the 12" Sup (supreme) ($15) which was quite good, but I wasn't blown away. I've had vegan pizza in a few places and this pepperoni wasn't my fave, but I am being choosy. It is awesome that there is a vegan pizza option in ATX, so please support this local biz! Service was great, and the pizza was ready in 15 minutes when there was no line. They also sell stickers (possum pizza and opposum related) at only $1 each.

I'm not vegan or vegetarian but I'm always down to try vegan food, out of all the vegan pizza I've tried Possum Pizza is by far the best. Their crust is excellent, their pizzas are creative and always delicious, I stop by every time I'm in south Austin and grab a couple pizza pies! I took one of their pepperoni pizzas to a party and nobody could tell that it was vegan.

This vegan pizza truck is quite a find... I've had vegan pizza before and there has been terrible pizzas as well as pizzas I thought were quite more than decent (which at this level gets a lot of rave from any vegans frustrated with subpar food and/or taste).Possum Pizza, taking over a parking lot with two other food trucks at an abandoned property (up for lease/sale?), took it to another level - churning out slices and pies that I, an omnivore, can actually love. So yes, they found a way to make me crave a slice of their vegan pies.I had the macaroni cheese and bacon (veganized) slice that has a drizzle of ranch dressing (this is a second time in which I've enjoyed vegan ranch dressing - a feat considering that I'm not a fan of ranch dressing under most scenarios). It had a kick, even though it was touted as being less spicy than their other available pie that was instantly available (I came in the late afternoon, my fault) - but it was perfect for me, who is spicy-hot-averse.And the best kick of it all? It's quite affordable for vegan food - even compared to other vegan pizzerias in town (at this date, we have three in Austin, the new vegan capital?).Bravo Possum, bravo!

Absolutely fantastic thin crust vegan pizza! We tried half plain cheese, half mushrooms and jalepenos and it was divine! They use Follow your heart cheese and it melts really well and is super creamy and tasty! I was also surprised at how good the mozzarella sticks were- the cheese inside was very creamy and they were perfectly fried without being overly oily. It was so tasty we devoured it before realizing we forgot to take pictures! Will be trying the cheesy bread and one of their specialty pies next time around.

Possum is an old camp nickname of mine so when I was visiting Austin and saw there was a vegan pizza place called Possum's pizza I had to go. It is a food truck right next to this area with lots of dining and drink options. I got the Buffalo cauliflower pizza and cheesy bread. Both were delicious. The Buffalo cauliflower had just the right amount of spice. One negative is the pizza place didn't sell drinks since there were several options nearby. The lines were quite long so I got a slushie at dairy queen next door which was delicious too
