Pool Burger

I participated in a bike race and at a certain point I stopped thinking about the pain in my legs and started thinking about all the things I was going to order at Pool Burger once I was done. As soon as I finished (and picked up my second place award ) I asked my partner to drive us to Pool Burger. I had the salad with the veggie nuggets (extra nuggets), the crinkle-cut fries, and a burger. It was everything I had envisioned during my race. The nugs were crispy and savory, the burger was a smash patty with the right combination of caramelization and bite, and the fries were so good that I was slapping wandering hands away without remorse. Once I was full and my hunger-blindness abated, I realized the interior around me was also very cute! Tiki aesthetic with large bay windows to watch Deep Eddy pool-goers saunter by.

We love pool burger!! The happy hour is a great time to go - I think from 3-5 during the week! Sometimes this place can get super packed in the summer with lines so definitely avoid peak times but we love going right after a nice swim at deep eddy pool. The decor is cute and very island vibe - the frozen hurricane is $6 for happy hour - frozen rum passionfruit drink - super delicious! We normally just get the original pool burger with cheese and I do mine with a lettuce wrap! The pool chips with guacamole and pimento cheese also half off during happy hour and a must!! We love these so much we ordered two orders the first time we went lol

**Food:**The burgers had a good flavor. The Hawaiian burger was particularly enjoyable, with the blue cheese and pineapple providing a well-balanced taste. The double cheeseburger featured crispy bacon and a juicy patty. Additionally, the bread was fresh.**Service:**The establishment follows a self-service model where you order and pick it up at the window. There is no table service.**Ambiance:**The ambiance is suitable for small groups but not recommended for dates due to the noise level. There is no dress code. If you bring children, be aware that you might see some patrons dressed in revealing swimwear, akin to beach attire.**Price:**The prices are average for the area. However, the drinks were expensive for what they offered. There is nothing particularly special about the place, except for its proximity to the Colorado River. I'm not sure if I will be back, but I won't mind if I'm in the area.

The best things about this restaurant are its location (perfect for after Deep Eddy pool) and the vibe of the whole place. The food is just ok. They're not super special burgers and don't have as much flavor as other places. This place can get pretty busy, so sometimes you have to wait in line to order. However, the servers are great and happy to help. It's a fun place to go, just don't expect the most exceptional food ever.

Come for good burgers, tasty drinks and the tiki friendly ambiance ! Pool Burger is one of my top favorite places to grab a burger in Austin that's not fast food. Meat patty are smash like burger thin with crunchy crisp iceberg lettuce, and always served on a nice soft seared bun.I would say Pool Burger is along the lines of In-n-Out but a step above especially with the option the add bacon! Service can get a bit slow when they get busy.

Pool Burger is the perfect place to go after a day of swimming at the Deep Eddy Pool. Only a short walk away, you can indulge in perfectly crafted tiki cocktails and burgers made with quality ingredients. It gets packed, so there might be a short wait for a table but food comes out fast and delicious. Good ambiance with good music and good vibes.

Absolutely loved it. Went with a large group, enjoyed Austin vibe, parked in a parking lot for deep eddy's pool. I could see it being an issue during summer when people are at the pool. Started with guac and pimento cheese appetizers, both delicious! Everyone had burgers, they were fantastic. Drinks were fabulous, especially frozen Hurricane. Great vibes, great atmosphere, staff were attentive, friendly and very helpful. Will be back for sure.

We're travelers and this is our 11th state. I think this is one of the best burgers I've had. We've tried a lot of burgers in our time but to me you can't the fresh taste of these burgers. Me & my daughter had the "Dazed & Confused" burger & asked for a regular burger bun & not the veggie burger bun. The guacamole, bacon and the fresh lettuce & tomato was amazing !! I usually get a 2 patty burgers but I never felt like I needed 2 patties. We also had the Pool Cheeseburger without chopped onions. My son even commented on fresh the lettuce taste. The fries are really good, to us, needs a touch more salt but than we just salt them ourselves. My daughter got extra crunchy, it did taste different. We got some adorable party drinks! We got two piña coladas, and they were strong ! We personally like too sweet stuff lol so we just sucked them down. We had it twice this week ! We wanted one more time before leaving Austin. Cya Austin, it's been AWESOME !!

This place has such a fun atmosphere!! There is indoor and outdoor seating, an outside bar and fun beach-y decorations spread throughout. This is a fun spot for a date or to bring the family. The burgers were sooo good, the fries were crispy and the margarita was delicious. You order from the bar and they bring you the food. The bartender and waiter were both very nice. Parking is kind of sparse. Loved this place and can't wait to come back!

Pool Burger is an awesome spot after a dip at Deep Eddy's. Great ambiance & vibe, but food & drink are just ok.Parking - shared lot with the pool / street parking. Can be tricky during peak times.Food & drink - variety of burgers and fun drinks. I find their veggie patty to just be okay, but I like their fries a lot. I need to explore the drinks more as I have not been a huge fan of the ones I've gotten so far (too strong and not tasty). My main issue with the food and drink is the price for what it is. I got a veggie burger, fries and an alcoholic drink and it was $45...Ambiance - the vibe is why you come to pool burger. Both indoor and outdoor seating and the counter has a fun tiki vibe to it. Overall Pool Burger is fun when you're in the area, but I do find the food to just be ok and the price is a bit off. Would be better off stopping by P. Terry's and coming to Pool Burger just for ice cream or fries.
