You can order by the half-pound or full pound instead of a small, rice-heavy bowl! I got 1 lb of ahi tuna for $19 and 1 lb of salmon for $23, which felt like a much better deal than most poke spots charging $15+ for a bowl with just a few bites of fish. If you actually want a solid portion of poke, this is a great option. What I liked:The salmon was very fresh - I ordered The OG salmon poke, and it was flavorful and well-marinated. The fish had a nice, smooth texture and absorbed the soy sauce and sesame oil well. No weird aftertaste or fishiness--just fresh, clean flavors.Portions are generous - A full pound of fish made for a very satisfying meal, which isn't always the case with poke. If you don't want rice or fillers, ordering by weight is the way to go.What I didn't love:Ahi tuna wasn't as fresh - It started off tasting fine, but as I kept eating, I noticed a slight fishy taste, especially in the middle portion. Not terrible, but not the best either. Next time, I'd skip the tuna and just get salmon if that cannot be improved.Seasoning is strong and a bit oily for me. The marinade is on the heavier side, with a lot of soy sauce and sesame oil. It's flavorful, but personally, I prefer a lighter touch so the fish itself can stand out more. If you're used to milder poke, this might be a bit much.I was just looking for a simple, no-frills poke spot, and this is a solid choice. The salmon was great, the value was good, and the flavors were bold. Not sure about service since I chose delivery.

Was craving a poke bowl and this place was nearby. They have more Hawaiian style poke than others which was great!I got a big bowl with rice and toppings and it was very reasonably priced and more filling than I had imagined as the container looked smaller than I thought it would be.Service was great as they showed me their options for premade bowls and different sizes. The place is small and cozy and a little hard to find at first located on a corner behind a gas station.

The poke was okay but for close to $20 for one person was expecting a lot more overall. I did the half tuna half salmon which was okay but I've had better locally at a similar price point. The rice might just be a different style but it was a little too soft and almost mushy for my liking. It also took nearly ten minutes to come out which seemed a bit long when they didn't seem super busy and I would think everything is premade. It might just not be my style, but definitely not a spot I would look to come back to.

This is a chain restaurant. Each of the Poke Poke I've been to have the same menu, great service and fresh food. There is plenty of seating inside and out!

This is probably going to be as close to authentic Hawaiian poke as you'll find here in Austin. I will say that I'm not a huge fan of authentic poke--I find that it to be too salty, and I usually only like the creamier poke options. I got the cucumber/avocado salad, shoyu poke, and the creamy poke. Everything was really fresh and well seasoned with lots of onions and sauce. I think it's just a bit too salty for me, but I can still tell that it's a good option for you if you're a huge fan of traditional Hawaiian poke.

My wife and I had gone to Hawaii in March of this year and had some amazing poke. We were inspired to find some good poke here in Austin. Poke-Poke was VERY satisfying. I had never heard of it or even driven in this area before. Definitely a gem in this neighborhood. The ambience gave us a "vintage" feel--like it deserves to be functioning somewhere near a beach. There's not a lot of seating inside, but they do have tables outside as well. We were lucky enough not to come during a lunch rush. The woman who took our order was very kind and professional. My wife had the "Lil Poke with a brown rice base and the Aloha Poke recipe." I had the "50/50 Poke with a white rice base and the OG Recipe." Both were delicious!!! The fish was fresh, the rice was soft, and it was all super flavorful!!! We were very impressed. Portioning was also just right--I didn't leave feeling super full, or still hungry. We'll definitely be back when we want our poke fix!!

Love coming to this spot when I'm in the area. The poke is by far the best in austin. The store is a little small but there's seating both inside and out and makes for a great lunch spot. The staff is always super friendly and have good recommendations. The price is about what you would pay at any other poke place but I find that most places will add more sides and rice than fish. Here the protein is what stands out! I recommend anyone in Austin come check this place out if you want true poke.

My husband and my usual go-to poke place has been undergoing construction for months, so we finally decided that it's time to venture out and explore a new option. While scrolling through the Yelp page, we came across this establishment and decided to give it a try since it was close enough to where we were and had amazing ratings! We ordered the JT's Poke and a small salmon poke with sriracha aioli and edamame. We were first struck by how "lil" it was, but I think the small size was pretty filling enough for a light lunch. But what we were more surprised by, was how flavorful the poke was! It's definitely a traditional, Hawaiian poke, and I highly recommend you to order from the preset menu because their combination of condiments to fish to veggies is spot on. Even though we are more used to the "Chipotle-style", salad-like pokes, we definitely enjoyed our authentic pokes and look forward to visiting again.

I stumbled upon this hole in the wall eatery yesterday and I'm glad I did. As a native Texan who lived in LA for two years, I became very fond of all the yummy poke on the West Coast. Poke-Poke satisfied my craving for authentic and delicious poke.Their menu is a bit confusing but the staff will gladly help you out. The dining room is not open right now but there are a couple of outdoor seating options to enjoy your poke in the sunshine.I am excited to return back to this establishment and try more of their delicious poke. Maybe next time I'll try their fish on weekly special.

I was craving traditional poke - not the kind with all the toppings and barely any fish. This hits the spot if you're looking for quality Hawaiian-style poke. The restaurant itself is very casual and you can definitely tell most of its business is to-go orders. We ordered JT's poke and the Yowza Yuzu. Both amazing. The sauces add flavor without completely overpowering the fish. We will for sure be back.
