We ate here yesterday for dinner, and very much enjoyed it. We were able to get seated immediately and without a reservation, which was nice. As for the food, it was all delicious! The ono bowl was on point, and I very much enjoyed it. My fiancé also liked her Alani bowl as well. Overall, it was a good dinner experience at Poke Austin. We will be back!

This was my first and likely last time visiting. The meal was quite expensive for what we received, which was disappointing. Given that it was my first experience, I expected better customer service. I wasn't given any direction or even a recommendation when I asked for help. The staff seemed disengaged, almost as if being there was a chore. Based on the lack of service, I don't think I'll be returning.

Probably one of the worst Poke Bowls I have ever had! The rice was hard and chewy, the proteins didn't taste fresh, the avocado ($2.00 extra) was hard and should not have been served for another 2-3 days. Like some have already noted, the portions are hilariously small compared to the price. A Poke bowl this size is half the price in many other places that I've been. I will not be returning, unless you enjoy disappointment then I certainly would not recommend you going either.

A quick intro for those browsing: Poke is a Hawaiian dish comprising of a base, fresh, raw fish, toppings, and sauces. Think of it as the sushi version of Chipotle.Surprisingly, the poke at Poke Austin was pretty good and quite impressive. However, the service leaves much to be desired. The staff seems inexperienced, sticking strictly to their training and providing portions accordingly. During checkout, make sure you monitor what they are noting, as they may charge extra for any toppings that exceed their set limits.

I imagine this was the worst poke bowl I've ever experienced, still I gave it two stars for effort. Good Value at $19 for a 2 protein bowl, four toppings including seaweed salad and a Japanese beer.

I think I found my favorite Poke spot in Austin. Staff was friendly and didn't rush as I checked out the menu, then walked me through. The amount of choices and different things they had to offer were a bit more than most poke places I've been. The food was fresh tasting and great! They do have daily specials it looked like. They also have a little section of treats and fun things to purchase and a freezer of mochi options. Also, very clean inside and a good amount of seating, actually pretty big inside for a poke place.

One of my favorite poke spots, if not my favorite, is this place. They offer a variety of seafood options for your poke, but I personally always go with the Strong Bowl, which includes crab, spicy crab, and king crab. The ingredients always taste so fresh, and you can't go wrong with any of the other bowl combinations they have to offer. Make sure to ask about their daily specials, as they have a promotion every day that I have definitely taken advantage of during my visits! Their boba selection is also amazing, and I suggest you try one of their options the next time you stop by!

There were no prices or labels so it was very difficult to order. My bowl was $22 when it seemed like it should have been half of that. Extremely awkward service.

Very fresh. Loved their spread as well! Had some really cool options for proteins that you don't see at other Poke places and they had good "build your own bowl" deals. They also have boba teas, mochi ice cream, and other international snacks and drinks. Will be back!

Decided to build my own poke bowl and I will say that I liked how many protein options there were to choose from (more than your typical poke bowl chain). That being said, there were some toppings that surprisingly costed extra that typically are complimentary at other places I go to, such as the seaweed salad costing an additional $.50. I ended up trying their boba tea as well since it was my first time trying it here, and they unfortunately don't adjust sugar levels so I was worried about how sweet the drink would be. The cashier reassured me that it wouldn't be too sweet, so I ended up getting it and I'd say the sweetness is similar to maybe ordering a 70% sugar level beverage at a boba shop. This indeed was too sweet for me since I usually get 30-50% sugar modification. I was also disappointed by the tapioca pearls because they tasted soggy right from the beginning and the texture only got worse the longer I had the drink. I don't have any negative feedback about the freshness of the seafood itself, but I personally would just stick to poke bowls at this establishment.
