Pizza di Roma

We ordered take-out tonight and everything was delicious. Our order: Rigatoni Amatriciana, Polpette di Casa (meatballs), Pizza Prosciutto Funghi Porcini, Roma Pepperoni Pizza slice, & Margherita Pizza slice.The pizza slices were perfect. If you like pepperoni, you'll LOVE their Roma Pepperoni. So much pepperoni per slice, it's great! The Margherita slice was equally delicious. The Pizza Prosciutto Funghi was surprisingly good. It sounded good when we ordered it, but it was better than expected when we bit into it. The meatballs are tasty and the Amatriciana has an authentic flavor to it. You should definitely try Pizza di Roma if you have the opportunity.

Whoever answered the phone Wednesday January 29th was very ridiculously rude for no reason. Dude was arguing with me about crust. I was taken back and confused.Mom and Pops want you to support them but dont want to give good service. Get the heII out of here bwhahahahaha. Took my business elsewhere smh

Found this place recently and gave it a try on two separate occasions (both pick up). First one i had the funghi pizza and a slice of lasagna, the pizza was WAY too salty, I believe they marinate some of their mushrooms as well as fresh ones and that was just overkill. The lasagna however was delicious, pasta was overcooked but the sauce made up for it. Now second time we ordered the classic margarita pizza and bolognese. The pizza was okay, very soggy in the middle due to the high amounts of oil used and the bolognese was the blandest sauce I've tried in a long time, again pasta was super overcooked, you couldn't twirl the pasta because it instantly turned into mush. That was a one bite and done experience for us. All in all, the staff was pretty unfriendly on both occasions, not sure what that was about. Can't have mediocre food and be rude, gotta pick a battle lol. Will most likely not be back unless it's specifically for the lasagna. You guys have such a great foundation to work with, a few smallImprovements could really make a difference (coming to you from someone also owning a business in the food industry)

This place is the BEST! First off the owner is so kind the best service I've ever had in Austin. True authentic italian food and you can tell he loves to cook and he puts his heart into each dish he cooks. I got the porcini tagliatelle with a slice of the margarita pizza and it was amazing!! Best Italian food I've had in Austin. Truly authentic. He gave me a free bottle water and dessert on the house, extremely kind. You need to come here! Support this amazing small business:)

Me and my bf went here every day 3 days in a row because we loved it so much.Pizza di Roma lived up to their name with authentic Roman Pizza and pastas. Everything here was perfect. Highly recommend the margherita pizza and the spaghetti and meatballs. They sound simple but are both high quality and delicious.

This place is a true gem! Absolutely delicious slices of pizza. I like to get a bunch of stuff so I don't get food fomo and I'm glad I did. Got meatballs as an appetizer which comes with 3 meatballs in a delicious sauce I was dunking crust and the bread in.I got a few slices (margherita and funghi) that were great. Great toppings and also very reasonably priced per slice. I also made sure to buy a tray for the family so I'll get more feedback on the pinsa di Roma slices later. But it smelled absolutely delicious in the car.But the standout? Their rigatoni amatriciana was so freaking delicious. Perfectly cooked fresh pasta and the flavor bomb. I have zero food regrets

So grateful to have a nice little pizza/calzone restaurant so close by. It's a new place and already appears to be getting a following. Their focus is largely Pinsa Romana (Roman style pizza) but they also serve by the slice with familiar flavors.

Great pizza and wonderful service! Came in for a quick lunch and ordered a slice of pizza funghi and the rigatoni amatriciana. They warmed up the pizza slice and it was delicious, perfect crisp to the crust, melty cheese and plenty of mushrooms. Then came the pasta which was made fresh. Piping hot rigatoni and perfect amount of sauce, I couldn't taste the guanciale but still delicious nonetheless. Fast friendly service and would return to try another slice or pasta!

Picked up three slices of pizza here the other day, pepperoni, margherita, and a di Roma pizza. Took about 5 min or so to get them heated up and then took them home to enjoy!The crust was super crunchy in a good way, and the flavors from each of the toppings came through well. Honestly I think one slice is enough for a meal, I had half of two and was fulllll.Overall a great neighborhood spot for tasty pizza! I love that you can get quality pizza by the slice (Roma style). They have whole pizzas too if you want. If I lived nearby I would probably go all the time, so maybe it's good I don't.

This is by far the best Italian restaurant and pizza place in Austin. As I live nearby, I've been here so many times that I've had the pleasure of getting to know the owner and his team who run this cozy establishment.I've never been disappointed. The calzones are nice and filling. The pizza is made from a well fermented high quality dough and you can tell in the texture and flavor. I've never been bloated eating here. The sauces are flavorful. I often come here for the Chicken Parm panuozzo and the chicken parm spaghetti. I also really enjoy the panuozzo con prosciutto.As for appetizers, the suppli is fantastic. It reminds me of arancini.If you're not sure what to get, start with a Neapolitan margherita pizza!
