Pinthouse Pizza

Update: Pinthouse made it right and fixed the messed up order. Really great food, beer and people. This is one of my three "go to" spots for the "what do you want for dinner" question.My wife is lactose intolerant and the vegan cheese they have here is actually pretty damn good where I don't mind eating it (not as good as normal cheese but pretty close)I always look forward to their collabs with other breweries and hope to see Beachwood and other breweries I used to drink at collab again!

I waited 2 hours for one pizza yesterday. When I asked after 1 hour, they said there's a known issue that they are short staffed. If things are backed up this much, a simple heads up to people that are ordering would be all that is needed. While I understand being short staffed, what is unacceptable is not disclosing a known issue at the time of ordering. Why would you not tell us there is an extended wait time?After asking 3 different people who seemed unconcerned about the whole situation as everyone in the restaurant was in the same predicament, I received an underdone pizza at 8pm after ordering at 6pm with no apology or reaction. Everyone seemed to be avoiding eye contact and walking away when I asked a question. I honestly don't know if I will be back. This is coming from someone that has frequented all of their locations for the last decade and recommended PHP at the top of my restaurants list.

I'm conflicted in writing this review because although the pizza was good, nothing else about my experience was. The establishment is "order at the counter and then find your own seat", which is fine for most places but for a place of this size and popularity, does not work at all, in fact, it is completely asinine. We came with a group of 4 adults and 2 small children for dinner. There is nobody at the front to tell you how the ordering/seating system works so we were just waiting around until we noticed people just seating themselves (which was annoying as we were there before them). Again, fine, whatever, so we go to find a place and though the place is massive, there was literally no place to sit. No tables, no spots at the bar, not even standing room. We literally looked for a table for 20 minutes before we found one, then, we had to go wait in line and order food because if we did it the other way around, we wouldn't have had a place to eat. This is such an incredibly stupid system. Honestly, if there was just someone at the front who took your name and then let you know when a table was ready, this would alleviate so much of this problem. The staff, though kind, seemed to be overworked. We needed to find someone to clear off the table we eventually found and then we needed to talk to three different staff to restock plates for our food, because yeah, they don't give you plates either, you have to get them from by the soda fountains. Just bring them when the food is delivered! You have such a fancy GPS system to find where our table number is but you can't bring plates?!?The place is incredibly loud which was fine but just beware. There were tons of groups, and people watching sports, and so many kids' sports groups. The food was good, I will say that again but is it the best pizza in town, no, and in my opinion, definitely not worth having to put up with the actual restaurant itself to eat it. Oh and though I'm not a beer person per say, I can usually find something I enjoy. After getting a flight, I can say that I did not enjoy any of their beers. There are so many other breweries in the Austin area which serve much better brews.

One of my favorite meals while in town. Love a good local red and pizza. Loved the vibe. They have communal seating and you order at the counter and it will get brought to you. Delicious. Would love to come back

The good: Ordered takeout and the pizza was great. I loved The Works, and the Margarita pizza wasn't half bad. I also loved how fresh the salads tasted.The bad: The pizza that had the honey and gorgonzola was really salty - I wouldn't get again.

This was one of those "Can't believe we wasted our lives NOT coming here sooner" experiences!! Walked in on a Saturday evening at 5pm with our two young kids. We hadn't been sure if it would be family-friendly but it definitely was. The decor was so well done, and my artistic side was so happy to be in such a pretty place even before ordering!You order at a walk-up desk (like Torchy's) and they give you a pager and bring the food to your table. The staff were all exceptionally nice and friendly, and really on top of bussing tables. But the star of the show was the pizza. Instantly became my favorite pizza in the Austin area. You know it's good when you find yourself picking every last fallen topping up off your plate to not miss one bit! The kids split a large cheese pizza (easily could have split a small for an 8 and 5 year old), and my husband and I split a large half Ooh La La and half Cannonball, and we loved both. Tasted the Ooh La La first and it was the perfect combo of savory, pepper pop, and sweet drizzle. We were both in love and expected the Cannonball to be much more basic, but the meats were all such exceptional quality it blew our expectations out of the water. Truly a flawless experience and can't wait to come back. They also have plentiful tv screens for sports fans, and a good selection of beer and cider!

Stopped by this pinthouse location at Round rock recently. It definitely has similar vibes to the Ben White location with spacious indoors and plenty bench/booth seating.There's a Christmas tree near some of the benches which was a bit weird for October lol. Not sure if they set it up early or if it's there all the time.Beer and pizza is delicious as always!

I can't believe they did away with the Banh Mi pizza !!!! If I'd known that I wouldn't have even came here for lunch today !!!! That was my ALL TIME favorite pizza of any place that serves pizza !!!! They lost a long time customer as I won't be coming back !!!!

Best beer and pizza in Texas! Everything is just on another level. Although Electic Jellyfish is their claim to fame, try Training Bines or Scorpion Disco. The Pinthouse salad is amazing. On the lighter side, don't be afraid of the cauliflower crust.

Great food!I Love this place and i recommend this location for pizza in Round Rock. I also love the pretzel.
