If you want an after dinner desert, "treat yourself" dessert, or anything in between this is your spot. I enjoyed my time at pie bar. Pie is usually not my desert of choice. The customer service was good and the employees were able to explain the process well. They employees also were well knowledgeable about the menu and gave good suggestions. There are so many combinations of a pie that you can do with the options available. How I built my pie:Blonde crust Cookie dough moussePretzel crumbsChocolate chip cookie crumbsEverything was soooo tasty. It definitely was a good sweet treat.! I will definitely go back again!!! Get creative and try something different. Surprisingly the pretzel crumbs were amazing on my pie. They also have games in the sitting area. Grab some friends, grab your pie, and grab a game while you're at it!

A cute coffee shop and pie spot in south Austin! The pies might look small but they are pretty intense!Brought these to a family gathering and they were a hit!! I personally love the key lime pie and the strawberry cheesecake. Both have a good balance and depth of flavor. Definitely recommend trying the flavors or asking the staff for recommendations!

The original inspiration for the Pie Bar is in Lubbock, Texas. A couple then decided to open one in Austin, during the pandemic, on South Congress just north of Slaughter Lane. The coffee shop ambiance is sweet and cozy. There is a fireplace of sorts, mood lighting, board games, etc. Most people seem to stop by for a quick dessert after dinner. You'll see couples dating, families gathering, and all types getting their sugar fix. I do love chocolate mousse pie, but have to admit that the texture of the bite-sized pies are a little "airy" as someone else mentioned. It's like the difference between Cool Whip and homemade whipped cream.

OMPie!!!!!Holy poo do they produce delicious deserts. If you have a sweet tooth like me, this place has your name written all over it.I love that you can basically custom-make your own little treasures with available add-ons and toppings. It's located in kind of a strip mall but once inside you're transcended into a completely different vibe because of the fireplace and seating. It's really cozy and decorated cute too.

I ate all the calories and they were worth it! I can't believe it's taken me this long to try this dessert bar. You can choose from making your own mini pies to buying premade desserts. They have mousse fillings, cobblers, and cheesecakes to choose from. You can put toppings and mousse on cheesecakes or giant cookies. Get creative! We purchased the premade turtle mini cheesecake and the giant cookie with Christmas cookie flavor mousse on top. They were both delicious and stayed fresh for a couple days as we kept snacking on them. Definitely recommend when in the mood for some sweets!

A unique twist on pie and really liked the creativity! This place is super nice and chill inside and a great ending to a date night. Ran in with my husband and I built my own pie and he ordered the premade ones. I like having options to customize. I did note there were gluten free options. The mousse is rich. I can't finish it on one setting but I'm sure some people can. Overall, recommend visiting to check it out vs. ordering through a food delivery service

I recently visited Pie Bar in Austin, and it was an absolute treat! As a first-time guest, I wasn't quite sure what to order, but the friendly staff made excellent recommendations and were more than happy to guide me through the menu. I ended up choosing the banana pudding pie with graham crackers, pecans, and whipped cream--and it was perfect! The pie itself was a delightful balance of flavors. The banana pudding was smooth and creamy, the graham crackers added a nice crunch, and the pecans brought just the right amount of nuttiness. The whipped cream on top was light and fluffy, complementing the richness of the pie beautifully. What stood out most was the sweetness--it was spot on, not too sugary but still indulgent. It's a pie that hits all the right notes without overwhelming you with sweetness. The ambiance of Pie Bar is equally inviting. The place is well-decorated with a cozy, modern vibe that makes you want to sit down and savor your pie. There are plenty of good seating options, whether you're stopping by for a quick bite or planning to hang out with friends. It's a great spot to enjoy a slice and relax.Overall, Pie Bar is a gem in Austin. The combination of delicious pies, friendly staff, and a welcoming atmosphere makes it a place I'll definitely return to. Whether you're a pie lover or just looking for a sweet treat, I highly recommend stopping by. I'll certainly be back to try more of their pies, but the banana pudding pie will be hard to beat!

Stumbled upon this cute little pie shop while out of town. There's other well known pie shops in Austin, but what drew me to this place were the options to customize and build your own pies. There's a variety of cold mousse pie fillings at the counter that looks just like an ice cream display, and you can fill either a personal sized chocolate or blonde pie crust with up to two scoops of your choice. There are also options for warm cobbler fillings, or classic premade desserts if you don't want to go through the trouble of making your own. I went with a cookie dough mousse pie filling with pb cups on top, and it was tasty but did start to melt since I eat slowly. The server was really friendly and personable, and the dining area is a great place to hang out with plenty of seating, a fireplace, and boardgames. I'll be stopping by again the next time I'm in town.- Service: 5/5- Ambiance: 4/5- Cookie Dough Mousse: 4/5- Apple Cobbler: 3/5

Dipped in while here to pick up Jet's pizza from next door. So many delectable pie fillings to nosh on, with or without a crust attached! Kiddo got oreo mousse & LOVED IT! Not too sweet, and very decadent mouth feel. We got brownie batter + chocolate chip cookie dough and again it was not over-sweet. Lush thick creamy mouth feels throughout!I'll be back to try more flavors with the fam!
