Pho Thanh Nhi

We came here for the second time because we couldn't forget the taste of vegetarian pho broth!!! Although there's no specific menu for vegetarian, they can accommodate it and make the best vegetarian pho in Austin! I'm quite foodie and tried at many pho places but for the vegetarian/plant based pho, I can proudly say this place is the best one!Bhanmi is also delicious so highly recommended to get those two for sure!Keep up the great work! I've eaten here many times and I was really looking forward to the Vietnamese pancake as it's one of the very few places that makes it in our area.It was 1:300 Monday-- and I forgot it was Presidents' Day-. When I walked in there were 2- 6top tables and 1-2 top table vacant. I was happy to take the two tops since there was just myself. Once I was seated, my drink was ordered and when it was delivered a couple minutes later I gave my server my order. This is one of the few places I have found that makes Vietnamese pancake, and it's always been very good when I've had it in the past. It's also what I chose to order Monday. The only difference was I tried the combination which by description would contain several different proteinsAfter 15 minutes, I wondered if maybe my order had been lost and I only saw three total servers, tried to make eye contact with mine but failed. About five minutes later he delivered my meal. I've never waited over 20 minutes for anything. I have ordered there in the past so I was pretty surprised. He did apologize for the long. Wait which I appreciate it.The pancake itself was stuffed overflowing, and I looked forward to diving in. The interior of the pancake was chuck full of bean sprouts, but was sorely lacking in the promised combination protein. I found a few very small pieces of chopped chicken and a couple pieces of shrimp this was Not up to par with my expectations and also was not what I experienced in the past here. I've always enjoyed the lemonade as it's homemade and it was OK, but it was so overpowered this time with basil that it almost tasted a little bitter, so that was disappointing too. The pancake also was quite wet on the interior. I actually wondered if maybe part of the delay was that the chef did not know how to make it. I'm honestly not sure what happened, but I was very disappointed in my lunch and eat only about a quarter of it. I begin to look around to see if I could catch a server to bring me a box and my bill. I was lucky to catch one of the servers who I motion and mouth. I needed a box and she brought me one along with my billIt was interesting to note that almost all the patrons that were already in the restaurant when I arrived, checked out pretty much at the same time and the place looked empty for about five minutes when as if on queue, several groups arrived and filled the tables back up. I felt like it was a lot for by that time only two servers who were taking care of probably 20 tables.I'm not going to give up on them because this is the only poor meal I've had in the numerous times I've dined here but something was definitely off.

Combo pho is delicious . We went on saturday , the reason for one star off is because of the seating situation . They tried to have us seat in a place only 4 people can seat . When we had 5 people . Eventually we moved to a different table bc we were just too cramped . Highly suggest going on weekdays as weekends can be pretty packed . Overall food is great

I came here with my family today, and we were all so happy that we found this place! We've been living in Cedar Park for 8 years but this is by far the best pho we've had in the area!We ordered 1 combination pho2 veggie pho (they can make the broth veggie as well) 1 beef vermecelli1 Vietnamese crepe And tofu bahn mi Everything was very good! We really enjoyed the all the items. Pho was really good, some places make the veggie broth bland, but it was really good here. Bahn mi was really good with the flavor and the bread was super crispy!! The crepe was a little bit oily for my liking but the flavor was really good! The servers were super nice too, even though they were super busy, the service was fairly quick! It is a good place for the family outing! If you are looking for a good Vietnamese place in the area, you gotta check this place out!!

Every time I've gone to Pho Thanh Nhi, their service has always been so quick. We usually get the same thing (round steak and brisket pho and the pork banh mi) and it's served within a few minutes of ordering. We typically visit on Sunday afternoons and have always been seated immediately. The food has consistently been good and I'm happy to have found a local pho spot without having to go into Austin!

Honestly the best Pho I've had in Austin. Coming from Houston where the Vietnamese food is top notch. This place does everything well. The pho comes out within 5 mins of ordering. The Banh mi is fresh and has good crunch to the bread. Huge bowl of pho too! Hard to finish with one person to be honest. Really nice to split a bowl and a banh mi with your spouse/SO.

Fast service, ample parking after the dinner rush. We went arrived here around 7:40pm and were seated promptly. Having gone to other pho restaurants, we already k ew what we wanted: pho. I ordered a combination pho, which includes a variety of different cuts of beef, including tendon and tripe. From the time we sat down, ordered, and received the food, it took no more than 10 min. Service is fast and the food is tasty. Big portions of meat, noodles and pho broth round out the experience. The restaurant is quiet, which I appreciate. I hate restaurants with loud music. A peaceful end to a long day.We've been to Pho Thanh Nhi in the past, but this is my first time writing a review. They've been nothing other than consistent, and the prices are reasonable for the area.

Grabbed carry-out for lunch today from Pho Thanh Nhi. The food included was the combo pho soup (minus meatballs), eggrolls and shrimp spring rolls. All the food was good! A note about the restaurant, it's in an area of a strip mall where parking is scarce... I had to park in an adjacent parking lot and walk 100 yards to the restaurant (I needed the exercise anyway! LOL). The portions were huge. The pho soup was HUGE, enough to feed 4 people. The eggrolls and spring rolls were super fresh and good. The peanut sauce with the spring rolls was delicious! The quality of the food may have suffered a bit being carry-out and re-heated at home. I will re-evaluate after an on-site meal in the future. Recommend Pho Thanh Nhi. It's good...

Greeted and seated immediately as we walked through the door. Service and food were amazing. I had the special pho and it was delicious! The wife and I split a chicken banh mi, it came out freshly prepared hot, crunchy and soft inside. Definitely will return to try the rest of their menu if we ever visit Cedar Park again. Great choice for pho in CP/RR area. Spring rolls are great as well. Large portion of pho - vegetarian pho is great. Wait can be a bummer - always later than promised online time. Meh. Not the worst thing.
