I typically go to the braker location but am now closer to the Round Rock location. Once again, Pho Dan was fantastic. I've tried a couple different pho places around Austin, but I always come back to Pho Dan. This is classic pho, nothing new or fancy. The flavor is always right on point.

A pretty solid place to get some Vietnamese food. Every time I've been, I was able to be seated immediately and the servers are so quick and attentive. It's not like the best I've ever had. But it's a consistent place that's serves decent food!

Pretty solid pho place for a quick bite to eat. Went here with a friend and we were seated quickly. Our food came out pretty quick too. The price is great too. No frills pho place.

Came in around noon on a sunday was not busy at all. I got seated asap and got to order asap too! Service was really nice! Broth was not as flavorful as other pho places I have been to and the meat was a little overcooked for me. But the service was great so I didn't mind! The whole restaurant looked very clean too!

The location is perfect, right off a busy street and in the middle of a shopping area. The parking is tight but just head to the bank if it's after hours. The food is authentic, which is delightful. Everything was full of flavor and cooked to perfection. I did figure out I am not a fan of fried pig skin, this Texan thought it was going to be a pork rind (it's not!). The egg rolls were killer! Not slimy like some can be.It is quiet so no need to shout at your group. It is a corner space so the natural light, along with great food and service, makes you not want to leave. My husband went back the next day it was THAT comforting.

RED ALERT.MAJOR OPERATIONAL PROBLEMS.On their front door, there is a giant flunking official Unsanitary rating from the Williamson County and Cities Health District.Management says this was due to a new inspector passing through the region and giving unduly harsh inspections to all the restaurants he or she found.I tested this theory by driving all over the Hester's Crossing region looking at the front door of all the food service establishments. The only one who had a red health warning was Pho Dan.Everyone else was doing fine.* * *For reasons that in retrospect must have been poorly considered,I went ahead and ordered lunch anyway.Pho Dan's claim to fame had once been the best Vietnamese coffee in town. Now their coffee is not even acceptable. It did not come freshly brewing in the pot that you let percolate before having your drink.Percolation pot was empty, and the coffee was lukewarm.Pre-made coffee?I can't say for sure, but it sure looks that way.As it was, it did not taste like much. The beef on my Vietnamese beef on rice, had the funny texture of pre-formed factory beef slices made of leavings. It did not have the grain or bite of a sliced piece of flank steak or even of cheaper front leg meat.It was okay sort of because it was heavily marinated in a sweet sauce, which is how you cover up cheap meat.My white rice was fine, and so were the rice and vegetables of my co-diner.**********Overall, things seem to be going wrong on many many fronts here.Stay away.

I've only gotten them on Door Dash but it's consistently good. We typically get the seafood pho, spring rolls, and a charbroiled protein plate with vermicelli. I'm a repeat customer.

I love their pho!! All the bad reviews are wrong. The broth is full bodied with aromatics - star anise, cardamom, cloves, coriander. They make it from fresh ingredients and it's delicious! I've been going for lunch for 4 years, never a bad meal. They're vey kind, reasonably priced, great jasmine tea, great pho. We drive 30 minutes to get here now. It's worth the drive.

I think Broth and Basil is better. The pork is super tender and the pricing to portion is perfect.
