Like another reviewer said, it felt like an authentic VN street food experience (without the street noise) but the food was hit or miss.Contrary to their name, I do not recommend the Pho. Noodles were broken and mushy, broth was unremarkable.Quick deets:Private parking lotCovered seating area with fans but no A/CRestrooms availableNo table service (you get a beeper when you order then pick up the food when it's ready)Clean up after yourself when done (don't leave your trays at the table)Food is served takeout style (plastic bowls for pho etc.)Recommend: Bun Bo Hue (2 people in our party enjoyed it)

This place is unique. It's a food truck but has an outdoor restaurant built around it. All screened with fans. The woman in the food truck was very nice. The food is definitely fresh because it came out in 3 waves. They give you a little buzzer. We got shrimp spring rolls - kiddo said they were ok. They didn't have herbs like they're used to. One make your own pho - the broth was good and the meats were cut thick if you like that. A good portion. 2x bun bowl with thit nuong. Grilled bbq pork. Also cut thick. The crab rangoons good. How can you go wrong with fried and cream cheese? I had the banh mi with grilled pork. I wish it had more filling. It tasted good but it was not satisfying. See my photo. I would tell them next time to add more filling. Please see my photos for images! I think this place is a nice option for those who want Vietnamese and want to eat outdoors and not taking it home.

I've tried a few things here now - bun Bo hue, pho, banh xeo, and the salt and pepper squid.Pho is okay. You have other options for pho. The bun Bo hue I would say is good! As is the banh xeo (batter is not too thick, etc). But for me the true star of the show is the salt and pepper squid! It's crispy, well seasoned, just enough batter. There's plenty of covered seating although it's one giant covered "patio" with open doors.

Tried Pho 63 today. It was aight. The location looks hopeful though. Lots of parking and a sign that indicates a potential food truck park. Banh Xeo ($13) only has three shrimps and three pieces of pork. Two pieces of lettuce. It was crispy and thin; not crunchy and thick if you know what I mean. Bo Kho ($13) we got with bread. Ive been looking for thicker bo Kho for awhile and thought I found it but turns out it's still quite powdery. Had about five pieces of beef shank and tendon. Banh Mi Dac Biet ($7) was also okay. It was large and had pate but I'm looking for a creamier mix of pate with Vietnamese butter. But if you're a fan of straight pate it definitely had a good amount on it. Only had one piece of jalapeno. They have a "culture" menu which has the traditional harder to find items, and then a "classics" menu. Maybe next time I'll try something else but overall, I believe they are rationing the portion a bit much for the price and the competition within the area. They are literally across the street from MT market where Fresh Tofu, Lily's, Bep Co Tham.

Score: 3.75 of 5 stars.Terribly hot 95+*F 3pm summer day.3 to 4 massive fans.Tiny helicopter fans to keep flies away.1. BBH Bún Bò Huế: Tons of lemongrass. Most tasty.2. Bánh Mì Đặc Biệt extra veg: Little meat. Below average. So much better when dipped in BBH bone broth (au jus style). Conclusion:Just full. Not stuffed.- drank all BBH broth. several noodle strands remain.- took half of Banh Mi home.

Got ubereats from here and loved it!! I got the the chicken pho and the chicken wings and they were so yummy!! The broth in the pho was really yummy and came with lots of chicken, I wish I had gotten extra broth! The chicken wings were good too but I wish there was more sauce on them instead of a more dry seasoning

Located on Kramer, right in front of the MT Supermarket plaza, Pho 63 is a promising looking food truck situated alongside an outdoor deck with plenty of seating. There is an adjacent empty lot with ample room for parking. I went during the soft opening and I will say the menu is pretty extensive. The woman running the cashier was very personable and helpful; we ended up ordering quite a number of dishes. The egg rolls were pretty standard. It came with a sweet chili sauce, although I would've much preferred it with fish sauce. The banh mi was sizable. It had a ton of filling, but the bread was unimpressive as it had no outer crunch or toast to it. The fish sauce wings could've used more fish sauce and spice. The banh xeo was a hefty portion and included pork and shrimp. The shrimp tails were left on, but the amount of leaves and herbs that accompanied it were plentiful. Others mentioned their banh xeo being crispy, but mine was the complete opposite. The combination pho was comforting, but didn't stand out compared to other pho options in Austin. I also had a Vietnamese coffee to round out the whole meal.Again, I think this food truck has promise, but it under-delivered for me.

Everything I received here was lackluster. I love Vietnamese food so much, even to the point of preparing a few dishes myself and frequenting many restaurants throughout Austin. However, this is my first time trying Pho 63 and likely my last. I should have read the reviews here before ordering because I noticed a lot of similarities. One thing I love about Vietnamese cuisine is the freshness aspect of the dishes-- which were sorely missing in my vermicelli bowls and spring rolls. Herbs were missing: no basil, no mint or cilantro and it really was a glaring omission in both dishes. Not much flavor in the pork or shrimp that were in both dishes either.I don't think the noodles were rice noodles so the texture was off for me. These were also were served hot instead of chilled and the dishes lacking flavor means I just ate around most of it. I did the same with spring rolls.Crab rangoons were served dark brown and hard, ate around that as well. Texture of the wrappers was flat and overly crunchy and almost burnt tasting.Peach Green Tea: I'm not sure if this is mostly juice of some sort, but there is hardly any peach or actual green tea flavor. If I wanted juice I would have ordered that. Meh.So disappointing.

I came here to get some lunch and was very impressed with this spot. There is plenty of parking and seating at this food truck, it honestly feels more like a restaurant. When I ate here it was humid out and the owner noticed that I was getting warm while eating my bun bo hue and turned on one of their big fans for me which was super kind. I originally thought I was going to get pho but ended up getting the bun bo hue instead and really enjoyed it! If you are debating trying it, definitely get it. The seating area was very clean and cute and the service was great :) I will be back!

Since I pass by this new place on my way home regularly I kept telling myself "I need to try this place out". Today I did and happy to report that we will be repeat visitors. First of all the kitchen is a newer food truck/portable but it's physically attached to a large dining area (very large) with tables, chairs, etc. Place was very clean and organized. Menus are on paper accompanied by a large TV screen showing menu items and photos of food. There is also a chalkboard near where you order your food. Selection was very good and we saw several dishes on the menu that we don't always see in other area Vietnamese restaurants.I had the Vermicelli bowl combo (shrimp/chicken/grilled pork) but I'm allergic to shrimp so, minus the shrimp. You're given a beeper and soon enough you get your call to dinner. My only minor (really minor) complaint is everything is served in plastic bowls, forks/knives, etc., and I'd prefer to a) not have my food on something you throw into a landfill, and since there are tables/chairs, b) prefer regular bowls and condiments, etc.The food was hot and tasty. Lots of chicken and pork, they didn't skimp here! The fish sauce was very tasty and the hot sauce right on. There was a good balance of noodles and greens and meat in the dish so spot on there again. All in all, we were very happy to have this new Vietnamese restaurant in the neighborhood and will likely become regular patrons!
