This establishment brings a quiet personal atmosphere not found anywhere else in Gonzales. The food is top notch and the friendly staff gives excellent service! For a great steak or seafood meal, you can't beat it. Appetizers and bar drinks were excellent!

Delicious tacos, they made sure the order was right. I'm satisfied with the tacos even the sauce the hot sauce I could handle or too hot the food was very fresh ready to eat.

I had the fried pickles and my kids had the chicken tenders. My son's a picky eater, but ate the majority of his food. We didn't have to wait long for our food and the service was with a smile (during peak hours). Upon moving up there, I will return there to try more things off the menu.

Hamburger meat was from packaged product burger was just thrown together nor quality food at all

My husband and I went yesterday. Husband was craving a homemade burger. He ordered a burger and salad from the salad bar. At this little mom and pop place you order at the front and they bring your order to your table. A teenage girl was running food that night. She comes out of the kitchen with a fish basket and burger. She asked the table next to us if it was their order placed on the table and walks back to the kitchen. A couple minutes later she walks back to the table tells them oh I am sorry that burger is not your order but someone's else's and removes it from the table. The lady says yeah we haven't touched it. So she picks it up and tries to give it to my husband. My husband looked at her and told her I am not taking that burger you had already served it to another table. He tells her he wants a new one. So she walks away and back to the kitchen. A minute later another girl comes to our table with a burger in her hand. Did you order a burger? He tells her yes so she tries to put the burger down at our table. He asks her is this the same burger the other girl just brought over here after she served it to the other table? She said yes. He tells her I am not taking a burger you served to another table. You could tell she was super irritated that he wouldn't take the served burger. She storms off. He walks to the front and ask for his money back. She was super rude and tells him not to yell at her. ( he wasn't yelling) loud yes yelling no.... she refunds his burger money but tells him I am not refunding your salad cause you already ate that! (It made me laugh) Not only were they rude and their mistake not ours but it's against health code to serve food after it's already been served to another table.

I love Guerras food. Whether we take out or eat in, it is always good. The steakfinger plate is addicting. I love the patty melt. Friendly, comfortable.Lots to choose from. Burgers and onion rings are always great.

This place is a good local owned business with decent food friendly staff and very clean environment. The homemade salsa is a must try. I go there just for the chips and salsa.

Ok the food is always amazing & the service is also. Now this past week they were swamped I mean swamped and short staffed yet I received service with a smile, was informed it would be a little wait and the food was still DELICIOUS.

Absolutely disappointing. It was lunch time and first time being there. I was traveling for work. Had somewhere to be right after lunch. I pulled up asked if they had a chicken strip basket. He said yes, I said great I'll take that. Little did I know it was a dinner. $13 with a drink. Took 30 mins to get the food. No silverware no napkins and they were not strips, they were full chicken breasts. The Texas toast tasted like oil and the fries were generic crinkle cut. Over all the flavor was bland. I couldn't even grab the chicken breast bc the breading was already falling off. First and last time going. I drive through going to SA at least once a month. We like to stop and try new places. Glad I stopped before I brought my family. So disappointed.

This is my favorite place for burgers in Gonzales. Their onion rings I crave!!! So yummy!!! Plus the options are onion rings, crinkle fries, curly fries or tots!!!!!! LOVE THAT!!!! Their chicken fried steak is good too. Oh and they have daily specials. I wish they were open on Sundays though. We would be weekly visitors!!!!
