First time here. Was recommend by a good friend of mine. Never had Ramen Birria before and was very impressed. I got mine without cilantro, which is like Krytonite to me. Very savory and filling. This is a food trailer and they do have limited seating. Ordering is simple and quick. Didn't have to wait long. Probably helped I was there after the lunch rush. I will be back to try the birria tacos, as I've heard they are some of the best in Austin

I've been going here awhile now for birria tacos and the ramen. We've tried a lot of places for this in Austin and these are still our favorite. They make it really simple to order online and pickup.Birria tacos are great and flavorful, we usually like the ones with cheese and get a consomme to go along with it.If we get the ramen too we usually just use that as the consomme and save some money! Both are hiiiiighly recommended. This place is definitely worth a detour or a drive!

A lot of the reviews here have said that Palo Seco has the best Birria Tacos in town. I'm happy to announce that Palo Seco has, indeed, met that burden. The three birria tacos I received were exquisite. Not only was it chalk full of the meat itself (most Austin taco guard their meat zealously from their paying customers, so this is a rare distinction) but the tortillas were quite possibly the best tortillas I've tasted in the city. The horchata I got was great as well. And the best part? They're actually reasonably priced. The seating area is sub-par, but it's a food truck so can't really dock points on that front. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for solid, affordable food (and birria!) in Austin.

Amazing food and great service! Came around lunch time on a Friday and we didn't wait for the food that long with people in front of us in line. Great taco truck!

Palo Seco Food Truck is located at a Valero Gas Station parking lot - you don't expect much when you initially pull up to it, but let me tell you... these are THE BEST QUESABIRRIA TACOS I have ever had.Make sure to order your tacos with cheese and a side of consomé! The green salsa is ridiculously amazing with a nice kick to it.You can order online before you get there and have it ready by the time you get there by clicking the link provided below:https://palo-seco.square.site/s/orderHighly recommend you come hungry and order at least 2-3 tacos - you won't regret it

Words will never be enough to describe the quality of birria & consumé that Palo Seco (formerly Latunita 512) produces, so hopefully some of the photos below will help make up for that. All I can say is that I've had birria from many different places, but nothing has ever come close to the quantity or quality of Palo Seco; they've truly ruined me on birria and honestly on tacos in general, because these are the best I've ever had in Austin hands down.

Palo Seco has some of my favorite burria tacos that I have had in ATX so far. You must order the Birria grilled cheese, as it's off the charts. I also particularly enjoyed that the truck is located next to a gas station, so you can choose any beverage you want to enjoy while eating. The service here is also excellent, and I did not have to wait too long for the food. Overall, I am excited to come back very soon.

Best Birria tacos in Austin hands down! Formerly known as La tunita, Palo Seco has been my favorite taco stand in Austin since I moved here 4 years ago. As a native Californian, I'm qualified to serve as a most trustworthy taco connoisseur and you can take my word for it everything here is good. You can never go wrong with the tacos in consommé, burritos are perfection, ramen is perfect for a colder or rainy day, the grilled cheese chefs kiss. I could literally go on and on about every menu item because they're literally all good. You can order online or in person but there will always be a line and a little wait so I prefer to order ahead. You can eat there or take out of course. They also do delivery now for surrounding area. Make sure you check their Instagram to confirm their hours of operation but as of now they're open Tuesday to Saturday 11 AM to 6PM but on busy days they sell out before 6 so get there early!
