What a cool spot! Ample room inside and outside for big groups or families. They have some yard games and a few kids were kicking around a soccer ball. TVs outside to watch games as well. The pizza truck didn't open until later but Yellow Bell food truck was open and we ordered the nachos, a kids quesadilla (that comes with a little dum dum lollipop- what a cute touch) and the hot dogs. My son was a fan of the quesadilla and he's a very picky 7 year old. My husband devoured the dogs so I'm guessing they were delicious. The nachos were a generous portion (see photo) and super tasty with a bit of a spicy kick- I'm kind of a whimp so they may not be for most Texans.Cocktails were yummy as well, always appreciate a brewery that has a few on the menu for those that aren't in the beer mood.We will be back again, especially as the weather gets nicer to enjoy the open patio, food and drinks!

My hubby and I love checking out breweries that we've never been to before, in hopes of adding a new brewery to our rotation of breweries to hang out at, when we're in the mood for tasty drinks & great vibes. So w/ Old Gregg Brewing Company being a new brewery that recently opened near our home (November 2024), we were excited to check it out & have now visited this brewery twice. Here is my feedback & why I'm giving Old Gregg Brewing Company a three-star review: 1.) very open, w/ plenty of seating - both indoor (bar seating and high top tables) and outdoors (picnic tables outside under a covered patio), wood shutters that are opened up when it's warm outside, which makes the inside space feel that much bigger & allows the cool air flow into the space. On a rainy & cold day, the wood shutters were kept closed making the inside feel cozy. There are multiple tvs mounted for the sports watching enthusiasts and also brand new board games & cards for customers to use. 2.) The "eh" for my hubby and I, is the beer selection. While the selection of brews are reasonably priced, the ABV content of the small selection of brews on tap only range between 3.2 - 5.4 - w/ only one IPA beer that is at 6.0 (this is the highest ABV).The glasses they are served in, are smaller in oz size from what other breweries use, which means you'll most likely need to buy more drinks if you're hoping for a buzz that makes you feel a little bit prettier (or handsome ;)). Old Gregg does have a few specialty cocktails on the menu (I've had the Matilda's Mexican Martini ($15) comes served in a small plastic shaker that you get about 2.5 small martini drinks - tasty but alcohol content wasn't consistent between bartenders) and they also have a few frozen drinks on the menu ( I've had the Spicy Margarita ($11) is a frozen drink that looks very tasty & refreshing because of the dark plum color but I don't recommend it because it definitely is SPICY! It has sriracha pepper flavor in it so I would ask for a small sample to taste before you purchase. I also have had the Alcohol Spritz but didn't like the taste.) Additional tidbits: -- food options: Yellow Bell Taco food truck onsite (food is so delicious and fresh! Highly recommend them) There is also Pint Pizza onsite (can't give feedback since I've never eaten food from them.)-- parking: Private parking lot w/ plenty of parking spaces -- no playground for kids but there are a few lawn games setup outside Hope this info helps! Till next time, Rebecca

This place is a great brewpub addition to this side of town! All the beers we've had here have been good with no off flavors or infected beers. My boyf and I really like their selection of brews - you will find something you like. They serve their beers in 12 oz. glasses and price is around $5.50. It's nice if you want to try a few different beers without committing to a 16 oz. They also do flights if you want to try several. The space is great! Indoor/outdoor concept. There are heaters but no a/c, so it'll be interesting how the dog days of summer will impact their business. The outdoor space is dog friendly and kid friendly. Plenty of seating and there's a grassy area. There is a dedicated pizza joint on site and a taco truck. If you have folks not drinking beer, they do have proper cocktails you can order. This has easily become our new favorite spot within 6 miles of our house!

Great spot in Plugerville with a fantastic patio and super friendly staff. Definitely family, kid and dog friendly and if beer isn't your thing they have a pretty full bar. I enjoyed the frozen lemonade add espolon - yummm not too sweet with a great balance and the frozen aperol spritz again yumm. I taste tested a few beers and others in my party enjoyed the beer selection. I'll definitely add this to my list of repeats. Ohhh and they have food trucks so if you need a bite while sipping on adult bevy's there's an option.

Lots of nice space for a new brewery and mostly specialized in session (lower abv) beers. Great happy hour deals and cocktail options with pizza made by a well known local chef (instellar).8-10 large tables inside with lots of outside space. Good service. Recommend the Matilda (dark lager) on happy hour (until 7 on Friday) for $4 and the special with a stout and boot of baileys for $8 on happy hour as well. Chorizo pizza was really good!

Did you ever drink baileys from a shoe? Well you can here!I love the lean towards one of my favorite shows The Mighty Boosh. It's in the name and a drink for now but this place doesn't need more as it stands on its own.I will mention it is Dog Friendly but rather confusing too. There is a sign at the door mentioning Service Dogs only but it doesn't say more. I can only assume they mean inside when it isn't all opened up. The place has about 10 dogs here outside in the grass, stone, and concrete spaces so the owner may need to qualify this further. The ambiance is chill and the music isn't overwhelming outside which is great. The cars passing by make for a nice pleasant white noise and the breeze today makes this place special already. The beer? I'm starting with the pale ale and it is bitter with passionfruit and strawberry flavor. I'm not a fruit beer person and I enjoy it so it's worth a try for sure. It's a trip from downtown but for Old Gregg I'd say "Do you like Old Gregg's place? I've got all things that are good." Cheers!

I really like this place!! The two beers I tried were great & so were the chicken tacos from the taco truck that were huge & full of good ingredients. I didn't see the pizza place at first since it's in the back but I am excited to try the delicious looking pizza next time I'm here. The vibes on the outdoor patio were everything you want in a good brewery! Greenery, nice families, and plenty of places to sit & enjoy. Only thing I would change about this place is adding the ABV's to the beer menu.

Omg, finally Pflugerville has a an exceptional brewery. This place is amazing. Beautifully landscaped, plenty of room for kids to run around. It just opened this week, but you would never know. Staff were on point and extremely friendly and attentive. There is a taco truck that is only open on weekends. Deft pizza is adjacent to the brewery and this pizza is extremely delicious. I forgot to get a picture. The brewery is also has a full bar which is unusual. The drinks I tasted got 5 starts. The beer I had they described as hazy-ish. I found it to pretty dang good. The place has a lot of class and charm. Pflugerville just up its game!!

Another beautiful brewery that has opened in close proximity to several new breweries in north east Austin's burgeoning brewery row. The space is gorgeous and they have a ton of room inside and a large fenced area out front with tables, cornhole, and turf. They have a full bar with a good selection of well-executed cocktails on draft as well as a delicious old fashioned with fig simple syrup. They also have an impressive list of beer for a new brewery. The brewer is from Oasis brewing and it shows in the selection of low-ABV, delicious beers on draft. Major kudos to these guys for brewing beer you can have more that 2-3 of!All the servers were super friendly andAs an added bonus, one of my favorite food trucks Yellowbell Tacos is set up here on the weekends. The same folks are running a permanent pizza restaurant in the back of Old Gregg, called Deft Pies. They are slinging some killer thin crust, tavern style pies.Super excited about this addition to the neighborhood. Go check them out.

Pros: okay beer and priced right for the Pflugerville area. Prices are slowly creeping up though.Yellow bell tacos is great. Don't shy away from the price as the tacos are huge and stuffed with BBQ. Lots of parking, limited wine and cocktail selection for non beer drinkers, nice indoor/outdoor facility with room for kids to stretch their legs. Cons: skip the pizza, overpriced for a super thin floppy mess. Pinthouse Pizza still reigns supreme.
