Friendly neighborhood brewery. The beers are always clean and crisp. The food here is amazing and the chef does a great job. Many a times we go here for the food. They keep it entertaining with trivia nights. Highly recommend this brewery if you are around.

Maybe an off night? Came in because the kid was craving pizza and I haven't been in this location since it was Humble Pint. Service was okay, no real complaints aside from maybe just offering water while sitting at the bar or while serving food, pretty off-hands in general.Beer was okay, the mango and sticky rice lager I had was much better than the IPA, which lacked depth.Somehow they were out of kids pizza, but could still make a standard pizza, not sure why they can't just make a new portion of dough, but I digress...I ordered a pepperoni and the Thai pizzas. The pepperoni pizza came out first and the crust was quite toasty, with a section being on the overdone side. I enjoyed the quality of the ingredients, with the pepperoni having good flavor, but the pizza was a little dry due to the overcooking. Then the Thai pizza came out which looked stunning, crust still darker than I'd expect for a standard pie, but not as dark as the pepperoni. I wish the Thai pizza had more balance--the carrots do their best but need some more help, and ends up pretty single note.I wish I had a better experience. Based on previous photos here, it looks like the pizza tonight was off, or something has changed for the worse.

Beer - Good solid craft beer. Had a joint effort with Oddwood that was really good but rest was just middle of the road. Food - Had the Meatheater which was excellent Service - Counter service. Friendly and attentive. Ambiance - Was looking for an adult brewery experience but being Leander and early evening, there were lots of young ones walking around. Not bad, just not the vibe I was looking for.

Came with a buddy who knew this place. The place was very spacious and not crowded, (well it was noon) I like the cool design of it where they had a bar area, an eating table area, and a cool lil sofa lounge to one side. They also had a full bar with a fantastic whiskey selection! The beers were listed on a chalkboard. I picked the Hazy IPA which was called the "Cemetery turtle? , cemetery something" which turned out to be an absolute fantastic beer. It actually replaced the McConohaze as my favorite Hazy.... Just tons of citrus hops and was a great drinker. I did try the Hanks Dank, which was good but the Hazy was tops! We tried the cheese bread and German pretzel which were really good . I will definitely be back to try the other food items and that Hazy...

Obsidian has become a favorite of ours. The service is always friendly no matter how busy they are. If you have any questions about flavors the team has tons of knowledge. A true gem is the wood fire pizzas. The Birria pizza is my partners favorite. It's drizzled with a green sauce and a side of consume to dip your slice in. I enjoy the Meat Heater drizzled with hot honey. The pizzas are big enough to share especially if you want a side arugula salad or an appetizer. The music is always on point and a great spot to meet a friend or enjoy with your partner. I will say families frequent this place as well quit a bit. If we are ever craving a pizza & beer and just a vibe Obsidian is the spot we go to. Highly recommend trying out and I look forward to seeing them continue to grow.

Went for lunch, and found the service to be friendly and accommodating. We tried the monthly special pizza "Sloppy Steaks", featuring ribeye steak), and enjoyed the change of pace that it offered. Very tasty, albeit on the pricey side. I tried several of the beers, and wasn't impressed by any of them. They reminded me of home brew rather than polished brewery products. Concerning for a business that bills itself as a brewery...rather than a pizza joint or bar. My SH had a mocktail, and found it to be rather boring. Not a bad experience by any means, but better beer would have really improved it.

A MUST try!! Ambiance:This place is super cozy. Comfortable bar seats, dining and bar area are well lit, but with a smooth lighting easy on the eyes. They nailed the ambiance. Service:Mason is the bomb, he is extremely well versed with all liquors and beers. He makes a MEAN mezcal old fashioned. You Must try !! Even the owner Safir stopped by and introduced himself. This place could write the industry standard on service. You won't regret stopping here. I unfortunately had lunch prior to stopping here. Next time, I'll try the food and update.

Finally checked out this local brewery by our house. Was hoping they would let my puppy indoor but dogs are only allowed on the patio. We still have a good time but will definitely come back to sit inside. It looks like a very cozy place that you can kick back with a few friends and enjoy some drinks and pizza. The craft cocktails I tried was on point. I had whiskey sour and my husband had beer. He said it's on point as well. The pizza we ordered was the crispy and packed with a lot of meat. I'm thinking of having my birthday shindig here that's how cool this place is for a suburbia neighborhood.

Wow, this little area of Leander is becoming "the" cool place for drinks and food. Let's see.....There is Leanderthal Distillery, Blue Corn Harvest, Aparicios, Lali Son: Nepalese Restaurant, Sharks Burgers (the OG), and now Obsidian Brewery.I had to Google the definition of Obsidian and according to interweb:"Obsidian is a highly-regarded protective stone, known for its ability to block, absorb, and transform negative energy. Obsidian is believed to be a stone of clarity, with the ability to release emotional, physical, and spiritual blockages, drawing out stress and tension."Well after a few of their craft beers, I have to admit my stress level was low and all blockages were released!Obsidian is occupying the space where Humble Pint served up deliciously wonderful NW-inspired brews and righteous pizzas. As other have mentioned the brewmeisters from Redhorn are continuing their craft here.I am pleased as punch to report that the new owners have brightened up the inside and added additional seating. The patio seating area is still intact as well.On to the important stuff! As you would expect their beer offerings are on point. I tried their Summer Ender and an IPA (there are a few to choose from). Others ordered lighter brews. We did order pizzas and if you were a fan of Humble Pint's pizza you will totally enjoy theirs.Last but not least they have excellent craft cocktails and a great selection of bourbon and whiskey. Yes, they serve more than beer! Service was excellent and there was no issue asking for samples.C'mon out and support and drink local!

This place has some really good beers and we love some of the appetizers they have, like the shishito peppers with aïoli and the pretzel! It is a full bar and they also have some really good looking pizzas but I have not tried them yet. The ambience is pretty bare bones, it is kind of in a strip mall area, but they do have outdoor seating and a spacious interior. They are blueberry beer is fantastic!
