Oasthouse Kitchen + Bar

I went for brunch yesterday and it was not busy at all, but took a while to be seated and then very slow service at the table as well. While waiting to be seated, my husband noticed on the wall it is owned by the same person as District Kitchen, so I thought, "Oh no, we had such a bad experience there!" It turned out to be not much different here as one of DK's issues was being out of things. Even more here, as every time I tried to order a cocktail, I was told they were out of it. How can you be out of all the ingredients for a mixed drink? Does that mean the bartender didn't arrive or no one feels like making drinks? My fourth attempt of a bottled beverage was finally successful. The ambience is not pleasant for the daytime. It was very dark inside and they had cage-like metal around the tables, reminiscent of a dog kennel. My hungry tween daughter had a really tough time not only waiting on her food, but waiting so long to even place our order, as the service was truly lacking. I reassured her that I'd write a review, so here ya go. The Vindaloo dish was too sweet. If not made with ketchup, it seems to strangely contain sugar. It did not feel like a happening place to be but a sad place, however we did enjoy the music.

My husband and I loved this place!We even took the rest of the family here!The place has a very nice atmosphere, the staff is very nice and the food is really good!I loved the beignets!

Google seems to not like my review, so I will post here! Michael was great and came and helped me with allergies. Usually I am nervous to order due to some severe allergies, but he walked me through the menu personally and recommended safe items. He gave me a few options, and let me know what he could do to accommodate my allergies on other dishes. He even assured me he would keep an eye over my order while it was being made to make sure it was safe. I am hesitant to go dine out since I have had allergic reactions in the past, but Oasthouse was more than accommodating and my food was safe to consume. It is sad to say that this is not common for me, so this means a lot. I know Oasthouse is a safe spot for me to eat. If you have any allergies or have intricate menu questions, ask for Michael! He is very knowledgeable on the menu, and can tell you anything you want to know. You don't usually see service like this, I will be returning!!

This place has some very delicious apple and pork pizza! Service was fast. Pretty cool atmosphere.

Great tasty food uniquely presented with specially crafted German influence. The pretzel was soft, fresh and delicious with spicy mustard. Nice and efficient service rounded off a pleasant evening. Would recommend this reasonably priced establishment.

Ambiance: Pretty impressed with the locally sourced foodie scene here. Its upscale casual vibe changes a little depending on where you're sitting. The booths in the bar area provide a little privacy to hide a little.There's a dining area that's a little more fancy. Food/Drink/Allergies: The menu is really good. They have a kids menu. The menu has labeled GF items. There's a pretty awesome happy hour. Kid friendly: It seems like it with the kids menu and also an outdoor seating area. Service: Awesome service. Paid attention to allergies and was very professional.

My friend recommended this place and we met for dinner. It was my first time and I liked it enough to return.The cocktails were unique! Small in size, but packed a punch!The spinach & artichoke dip was delicious. My friend was not a fan of the oysters she ordered and ended up sending them back. She then ordered a veggie burger like me and was super impressed. I love it. It was HUGE, though and definitely was way too much for one meal.The ambiance was great - upscale casual.

I absolutely love oasthouse! We come and bring the kids all the time because of the outdoor patio with a shared play scape. Occasionally we have girls night and happy hour as well. The food is great, pricey but amazing and the service is very good as well. The strawberry fields salad is by far my favorite.

I come here pretty frequently and am rarely disappointed. They recently changed their steak frites and they're not what I'm used to, but they're very tasty. Staff is usually pretty friendly and helpful, and they help guide you through the menu if you're unsure. Their seasonal cocktails are always fire. My current favorite is their All Apples cocktail. It's like a boozy apple cider.

This started out as one of our favorite spots but unfortunately the last three times we went were very disappointing. The service was bad and the food was not what we were accustomed to getting here. Tonight my burger bun was very burnt and the tortilla chips tasted like play doh. The menu prices online are cheaper than the prices at the restaurant. Very misleading. We were sitting in a booth in the bar area and the wall was filthy.
