This truck is somewhat tricky to find, but once you do find it, you'll be in a for a treat. I came here a few weeks ago for a small snack and negated to take any photos (my bad, it was late, don't judge me). What I got.....Bhatmas SadekoBhatmas Sadeko (Nepali Soybean Salad) is a Nepali appetizer that is equally nutritious and delicious as a side dish. This salad is high in protein, vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free. These soybeans are marinated in a blend of Nepali spices and herbs, creating a dish that is a harmonious balance of sour, hot, and naturally sweet flavors. This preparation, deeply rooted in Nepali culinary practices, highlights the soybean's adaptability to different spice profiles. The marinated soybeans, infused with ingredients like timmur (Sichuan pepper), turmeric, chili, and lemon, offer a tantalizing taste experience that is both complex and satisfying. This dish not only showcases the soybean's versatility but also underscores its importance in regional cuisine, providing a nutritious and flavorful addition to the diverse Nepali food landscape.#supportlocal #eatmoreNepalesefood

We recently tried a Nepali food truck and, though it was a bit tricky to find with GPS, we managed to locate it in a food truck area alongside a taco truck. Be aware, parking is limited, and the lot filled up quickly when we visited on a Saturday night. We called in our order for pick-up and tried the mutton Bhutan, dried buffalo, jhol momo, chicken C momo, chicken chili, and veg pakora. Everything was delicious, but the standout dishes were definitely the chicken chili and jhol momo. The veggie pakauda was more of a patty instead of a fried fritter. The patties were good and spicy it just wasn't what I was expecting it to look like. Service was quick when calling on the phone to order and when picking up. If I'm in the area again, I'll be eager to explore more from their menu.

Oh my god, I didn't know Austin had so many great Nepali food places! This place didn't disappoint. I ordered via DoorDash, and got the Veg Jhol Momo, Veg Chilli Momo, and the Veg Chow Mein. The Jhol Momo was a little spicy, but perfect for the cold weather. The chili momo packed an insane amount of flavor, and the momo filling was also very tasty. The chow mein was good as well. Overall, the food was insanely good, might just be my favorite momo spot in ATX!

We stumbled upon this gem on the eve of Holi and we were in for a treat. I asked the cashier what I absolutely had to try as a first time Nepalese food-trier and she recommend the Chicken Khaja set. It was so tasty! The main dish was the Chili Chicken which was very spicy but amazingly flavorful. I'd recommend also trying the Bhatmas Sandhako which is the bottom left dish on my tray. It was a cold dish with various nuts, onions, and cilantro which combined to form an amazing flavor combination. I will absolutely be returning!

I really wanted to like this place. A nice change from tacos! Alas, I can't say that I did.I wanted the chicken biryani, but they were out of it. Okay, so I ordered the chicken curry with rice. The wait was rather long (especially for a food truck), but it would have been worth it if the food had been good.It was not. The chicken was mostly gristle and bones and skin, as if it were made from chicken knuckles (I know, I know, chicken don't have knuckles). Some of the bones were small -- hard to see and easy to swallow by mistake. It was hard to find any meat. And the curry sauce wasn't the creamy yellow, red or green that I was expecting. Instead, it was a semi-clear brown. It was greasy, and it didn't taste of much of anything other than spicy heat. The rice was pretty good -- long grain and lots of it. But the dish as a whole was unpleasant. I wish them luck, but I'm not going back.

This place is so damn good. We ordered a little of each to get a good taste test. It was spicy, but really layered and interesting. HIGHLY recommend the roti with veggies. Really happy to welcome this truck to the neighborhood.

Holy Christ what an awesome surprise. The entrees are in Nepalese so I wasn't sure what to order. The guy taking my order suggesting the chili momos. I thought it was just just gonna be spicy dumplings. Totally wrong. They are dumplings stir fried with vegetables in a spicy sauce. I devoured yet savored each bite. Next time I have drunchies on the East side, I know where I'm going.
