Fantastic meal from starters to mains. The Razor Clams were so good we ordered it a second time. The Crystal Blue Prawns were very tasty as was the Octopus Carpaccio. We finished with the Lamb Ragu, which was outstanding.Service (KQ) and Sommelier (Nick) were attentive and friendly. Trenton in the bar area was great as well. We will be back when in town.

We were looking for a great "girls night out" spot and found Nido during a Google search! It was incredible y"all! We reserved a table outside on the patio and had a beautiful view of downtown Austin. We ordered drinks and shared a bunch of dishes. The drinks were good and the food was absolutely delicious! Pictures below!Highly recommend for couples or groups. Make reservations ahead of time and do the valet parking for $10.

3 star rating, but a generous 3 star only based off the aesthetics.I'll start off with the positive reviews. The ambience of the restaurant is very upscale. Great selection of cocktails, and variety of menu selections. Located in the Loren Hotel in Austin there's a beautiful view of the city that also offers a roof top deck. Now on to the food. Although we enjoyed our oysters, and our scallops, the price you pay for the portions you get are overpriced. At nearly $5 an oyster and $39 for 3 sea scallops (and I'm from Seattle so used to paying for quality/sushi grade seafood ) are definitely not worth the price. Our octopus came out paper thin (carpaccio yes) but just a very odd way to serve octopus, and the it came out way too salty. Again, definitely not worth the cost that they're priced at for the portion you receive. The cocktails looked interesting in flavor, but we're just about average at best in execution of presentation and flavors. An instagram worthy restaurant, but nothing beyond that. Will likely not return.

The first couple of times I went there it was soso, prolly bc it was still new (Sept 2022?). But went back October of 2023 for my birthday, it was amazing! Then went back in March 2024 for birthday dinner it was still amazing! The photos were taking about 1.5 months ago, the view is always amazing regardless the weather. I like the drinks as well. My fave restaurant.

Discovering this place was a delightful surprise! The sophisticated ambiance makes it an ideal choice for a date night. I stopped by for a drink, which was expertly crafted and delicious. I'm eager to return for dinner and to take in the stunning views of downtown Austin.

This place is truly lovely. We had tapas and I think we had many favorites... flatbread, sprouts, tartar... and more! Trenton is gracious. He reads your mind honestly... just tell him what you like. Thank you Trenton for everything! The banana split is the best dessert btw!

Nido is a gorgeous location! I'd never been to the Loren and didn't even know it was tucked behind on Lamar. It's a gorgeous lake views and highly recommended a reservation early to get an outdoor spot. We just missed sunset but I bet it would be gorgeous. The food was great - highly recommend the Branzino and pork. The others were alright but nothing special to me.

While in Austin a few weeks ago my friend and I found an instagram reel on Nido and decided to make a ressy for brunch on a Sunday! Was not disappointed. The food, the views, the service. Our waiter was Carter and he had a man he was training with him. We started off with bloody Mary's. Both were tasty although the bartender didn't make them with olives. Which was a disappointment considering I asked for extra olives! Sigh, we lived. Carter brought us olives. We shared the peach French toast which was so rich and delicate. I got the turkey club which Carter said was really good.He wasn't kidding. It was delicious, the bread was great! The fries were good! 10/10! My friend got the avocado toast and she really liked it! The views were amazing, our service was good and the food was good!! Definitely an Instagram spot!

food, great, short rib amazing the standout for everyone! tuna tartare was very creamy, could have used a little less chip, and slightly more acid, the flatbread was soft but chewy and delicious. the scallops were also delicious but not particularly memorable. the lamb ragu was fine it felt slightly out of place with its "rustic" quality. service was amazing, our server was super knowledgeable about the menu and made great recommendations! we sat outside, even tho it was a little chilly, they have heaters and blankets, and the view was absolutely gorgeous. would absolutely come back!

Wonderful experience at Nido's recent popup event with Ramen Hood vegan chefs visiting from LA. Nido offers such a cool view of the city and love everything about the dining room & lounge. Service is so attentive, friendly, and helpful. Their cocktails are awesome. The food was to die for!!!! I hope Nido continues to partner with vegan chefs/restaurants as I would be back every time! Still wish the regular Nido had more vegan options on regular menu too
